  You are the man!  The driver utility referred you me to worked like a charm to turn on Bluetooth.  Only the network controller has been marked in device as Manager in need of a driver, and wifi still doesn't work.  Based on your suggestion, I started looking for a Broadcom wireless driver.  The first two, I tried did not work, but the third time was the charm.  A pilot wireless portable for Windows 7 computers Broadcom of 2012 has been around.  I have now disabled hardware and everything works great.  Thanks a lot for your help.

  Microsoft did not say who yet, but if you have a legitimate win 8 key you are probably eligible, but you may have to reinstall 8.0 > 8.1 update > update from 1 to 10.  They just did not for sure yet

  It seems that the Satellite P105-S6064 PSPA0U supports a 5 - in1 bridge media adapter.

• Media types acceptable for speech to text in CS6 analysis?

  Hi all

  I was about to show the speech helps the function of text analysis in CS6 co-worker and ran into a block for such a simple procedure.  We use a system based on PC with Windows 7.

  The bite of the interview that we have analyzed is in a P2 MXF format.  If I open the item in the source monitor, select in the project Panel or use the "Clip" Menu > > "Analyze the content", the "Scan button" in the poriton of the analysis of speech from the metadata Panel is greyed out and inaccessible.

  My first thought was that P2 MXF was not a media type acceptable for use with the tool. Then, I selected a clip Ikegami, who had been transcoded in SOUL to a P2 clip with practically the same properties that the clip of P2 MXF native that is desired for analysis.   Transcoded P2 clip has activated the button "analyse".  I have also tried to analyse a XDCAM EX clip native, and the 'Analyze' button was accessible.

  Here is a screenshot of the properties of the clip of the three clips here metnioned.  The clip onscreen furthest left is the native P2 MXF clip that will not scan.

  

  All thgouths about why native MXF P2 is not a type of acceptable media for the analysis of speech? Thank you!

  Well, I just had a hunch to verify permissions in Windows Explorer on the directory of head of the file directory MXF P2 that contains the item desired for speech analysis.  The permissions have been set to "Read only."  I changed this option to allow Scripture and apply the change.  Then I closed and reopened the clip in the Source monitor of the body panel and voila! Was the "Scan" button is gray, and I could start the clip parsing.

  I think it's particularly odd, because for all our types of media, including the native P2 MXF, we add metadata particuarly in the fields 'Description' or 'Diary Notes' within the organization.  The metadata is retained when these same media are reimported into a new project.  Permissions 'Read only' does not have an impact on the writing of the user input data.

  Again, don't know why it is isolated to only our MXF P2 directories, but at least I know how to work around.  Maybe that's a problem of Windows/PC-system?

  Anyone who encountered this?  I was able to reproduce this problem on two systems separate edit so far.

  Original title: Windows Vista product key used for any new installation.

  I bought the upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows Vista CD, then had a hard drive crash, then installed a new hard drive. Load the purchased Windows 7 on new hard drive, now I get the message '... Software Licensing Service determined that specified only usable product key for the upgrade, not for new installations. That means that I have to load Vista on the new hard drive, and then update? Both for the end user (paying customer) hostile.

  However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

  15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

  So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  Select the record button browse and select the folder of Vista. Then select Advanced.

  

  Left will be your folder of Vista, to the right, make sure that you have verified make Bootable Image, changed the developer ID: Microsoft Corporation, load segment: 07C 0 and loading areas: 4.

  

  Select the folder browse button then navigate to your folder of Vista, then select the startup folder and select the file called etfsboot.

  

  Select the generate button.

  

  Save your .iso

  

  Select Yes when the prompt for the Volume name, and select ok. Finally, wait for it to make the .iso file.

  Once you have the .iso file, they may want to use the Microsoft .iso to USB/DVD tool to create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive (USB FlashDrive recommendations, see here).

  Friday, 3/4, I did a windows update and downloaded and applied Windows Live Essentials.  When it restarted, my computer crashed.  Somehow, I was able to come back to life, but Windows Live Messenger has stopped working (did not connect).  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, clean cache contacts, use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool and everything I could find.

  In addition to this, when I go to Windows Update now it states: not Windows is able to check for new updates.  8007007E error (unknown error)

  Also, I noticed that I have a few updates installed in the history of the update, but when I click on "installed updates" to try to remove them, they are not in this list.  They are:
  -Office Live add in
  -Windows Live Essentials
  -Windows Powershell 1.0

  I have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 on HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook PC 64 - bit operating system. For about a month, it stopped updating. Whenever I want to update it gives me the same message "Windows could not search for new updates. Error encountered, Code 80070426 ".

  After the possible solutions for others, which posted a similar problem, I typed "service" on start search and on the side slsvc, it gives a description. When I click Start the service, it gives me the message "error 2: the system cannot find the file specified."

  I appreciate any back feeding to help me solve the problem.
