  Had the same issue, but took off the protective film that came with the phone and resolved immediately.

  The default phone has a battery mode that disables the display when it in next to you ear and an appeal is in economics.

  My dell place 8 pro starts not to bright screen, no dell logo, not seeing (orange/white).

  If I put it to charge (using the dell charger), white light is on & then after 5/10 minutes it turns off & then there is no light regardless of how long to load I put it on charging.

  Pls advice, are there centres of dell authorized service in/all about delhi, India?

  Go into settings--> apps.  Select an application.  If there is a button that says "move to SD card" touch. Your application moves.   If there is no option button is not available.  Apps can not be moved.  I have a place 8 running 4.3 and apps on the sd card is not available for it.  I doubt that you have it on the 7.

  "Apps on SD card" apps do not actually add this funtionallity.  They only find mobile applications, then you can reach the settings app. Where you can press that "move to SD card" button.these 'move' apps are just a convenience.   You must have this available in configurations for her to work.

  There are ways to do it if you root your device.  But in my opinion, it is not worth.  Just be selective of the apps that install.  Install only the ones you actually use.  Store other files like music, photos and videos on the SD card.

  I have a Dell location 11 Pro I3, it's almost awesome to work after getting all the latest drivers updates, Bios, etc..

  But from time to time, the screen freezes, it seems that it only freezes when im touching the screen or using the keyboard on this (compact keyboard with trackpad).

  A few times the screen freezes for a few seconds, other times I have to put to sleep (power button) and wake up again until the screen reacts.

  I know it is a problem of editing screen, the Tablet meets the keys, keyboard typing or the trackpad when the screen is frozen.

  How will I know it when I see the movements on the screen? I see when I wake the Tablet after a freeze of all the changes I made, for example typings, Web sites change. And the sounds when I get error sound when I arrive at the end of a page, etc. The sounds come while the screen is frozen.

  Anyone have any idea how I can solve the freezing of the screen that would be amazing :)

  On my tablet, this problem was more caused by the Panel Auto Refresh. Download Intel drivers from the support page and install it if you don't have it already done. Then, click Start-> all-> Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Apps. Click on 'Power', then click on "Off" next to Panel to refresh.

  I just bought a place 8 Pro 5855. I did a recovery USB disk. I was wondering if there is a way to remove the recovery partition so that I can retrieve this internal storage space. I could try something like EaseUS or MiniTool, but I was wondering if there was another way that I wasn't aware of. Is there a reason why I should not delete the recovery partition? Thank you!

  This is how I did it:

  1. run Diskpart (from Run or CMD prompt), don't worry he'll ask the elevation to Admin

  5. type: delete partition replacement (deletes the partition 6)
