  Have you tried to copy the recovery disk, and then use the new copied the disk to restore the system? Try it, maybe the CD/DVD drive would be able to read the new drive.

  Equium A110 is very similar to the Satellite A110 and two portable computers should support the same kind of HARD drive.
  As I m not wrong not you need a SATA 2.5 HARD.

  If the laptop supports the 60 GB then use the 80 or 100 GB should be possible also.

  OK, I think my question about why you want to replace the CPU is answered ;)
  But as far as I know, that you will not find such a manual by downloading or around the internet as I think only ASP guy have these instructions.

  Perhaps it is like with car repair instructions. Officials as they are used in repair shops are provided only by the vehicle manufacturer for these shops.

• Equium A110-252 freezes after formatting DVD - RW

  Bought the computer laptop satellite A110-252 a couple of days to replace my desktop computer that mistaken for suicide. I try to create DVDs to play on my DVD, AVI and WMV player using the supplied software ie. InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2.

  The first attempt, converting a small file WMV MPEG-2, burned and played but when I went back to erase/format the disc and burn full disk file had been damaged and marked read-only, windows completely Explorer freeze because he tried to access the D: / drive.

  How have you tried to erase the DVD - RW? What applications did you use?
  It seems that the application caused the laptop freezing.
  Why? Who knows try using another type of DVD - RW and try to use various means to erase the DVD - RW.

  Hi I have a big big problem with my laptop which is Equium A110-252.

  I installed win7 and I tried to install all compatible drivers, only those who say win 7 x 32, however my laptop keeps freezing at random times and I don't know why.

  I didn't have this problem with win xp, can someone help me please, I really want to win 7 to work because it is much faster than xp.

  I doubt that Windows 7 is faster then XP. I also tried Windows 7 RTM and I must say it s faster then Vista but I think XP is still the fastest operating system.

  However, if your laptop crashes in Windows 7, you must use the preinstalled operating system which I think is XP. I mean Windows 7 isn't on the market yet and I doubt that enough old Equium A110 will support Windows 7.

  What you can do is to clean the laptop using a jet of compressed air because maybe it s an overheating.

  But I think that s all you can do.

  Hi, I hope someone might be able to help me on this one. I have a laptop A110-252. The vehicle currently has only 256 MB of RAM, but I plan to upgrade to 2 GB. At the same time I hope that I might be able to upgrade (reinstallation) of WIndows 7.

  I don't have the laptop in front of me, but I think he has a sticker compatible Vista on it (don't know if that counts for anything good!) and there are Vista drivers available for this purpose.   Problem is that your laptop model is not supported for Win7 and you will probably have problems to find Win7 drivers.
  You can try to use the Win7 drivers designed for other models of Toshiba with a similar hardware configuration, but if it works, I don't know.
  RAM upgrade is certainly a good idea and I imagine that you can use your good laptop using Vista supported.

• Bug BIOS PCI found for Equium A110-233 during startup

  I get an error of "PCI BIOS bug found" when that I start my Equium A110-233. It gives a number, but the error flies by so fast, that I'm not.

  I have not noticed errors running the computer except that my SD card reader does not work, but because I am under that Linux Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon was based. I am aware that Toshiba is not supported for the drivers for this device.

  How bad are errors of BIOS bug? It needs fixing?
  I can query the operating system to find out the bug number BIOS / details?
  Can it be fixed with a BIOS update loaded via the Windows emulator or virtual machine?

  When I connect my LCD TV screen to my new satellite A110-252 using the external monitor port does not fit the image of the (too big) TV screen.

  Hi there, you are using the external monitor port or the S-Video? Unfortunately, if you use the S-video port you can hold all of Office on television because it is technically impossible (without deleting the lines).

  TV less than number of rows than a computer monitor: PAL = 576 visible lines, NTSC = 480 visible lines except if you can pass in 640 x 480 mode 800 x 600 is the best that you can use to display an image on the TV.
