  I was looking for a straight answer to this question. I am a new Mac user (Woo hoo) and I need to transfer my files from a PC to my new Macbook pro. Which is the best ethernet adapter (if this is important) do so... a USB adapter or the adapter thunderbolt?

• No printer available for the new Macbook Pro

  I got a new Macbook Pro 13 inch OS X El Capitan.  I used my Time Machine backup of my previous Macbook pro to get running.

  Everything works except printer / scan options.  When I go to system preferences / printers it says "there is no printer available" even when I click on the

  + symbol.  The folder library/printer has the printer options.  I tried the recovery of backup options, but still no printer.  Ideas?

  The battery on my MBP of mid 2009 is on its way. I discovered recently that Apple now no no batteries for MBP 2009 community service because they are vintage. I was very disappointed by Apple, after hearing this. My question is what is the best replacement of the third battery in my laptop? I read the comments from Anker Lizone, keys and power GreenBox. On their site it says DDR3 is 1.35 volts and the DDR3L is 1.35 volts as well. They are both the same speed, 1600. What is the difference between the two and the DDR3L will work?   So, I bought some RAM Corsair (2 x 8 GB) to install in my MacBook Pro for mid-2012. It has been well over a month now and I get freezes and flaws that were not there when the Apple RAM stock has already been installed.   As you can see here, your MBP can, indeed, support for 16 GB of RAM. However, DIMMs must meet Apple specifications which are often much more demanding that really meant DIMMS for PC can meet. One of the advantages of buying from OWC (in the link) is that they provide 100% support so their products need to be designed with the Mac in mind. If you have no problem with DIMM Apple, but you do with Corsair DIMMS, I would say getting them replaced or, better yet, to get a refund.
