Menu of Firefox displaying incorrectly
The menu seems to have a strange white box in the corner, see screenshot. I reinstalled firefox, nothing helps.
Running Windows 7, firefox RC1 however had this problem in version beta.
This is probably caused by a problem with an add-on. Follow the procedure described in the following article to identify what is the cause - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

When I type in my Thunderbird email all the characters appear correctly. When I type in a web site using Firefox or Chrome the characters are displayed incorrectly. For example: I'm going to type the same thing here. It will come out like this or a Variant: 456 7890-= qwe rtyu. If I do the same thing again it will be: [IOPS] as dia jkl;' ' \zx. What is going on? Bye the way I had to type this in Thunderbird and copy and paste into this web site. Also, if I type in MS Word or Excel, all is good. The problem is on the web sites.

Firefox displays the weird texts
I use Firefox 32.0.3 on my Windows 8 (. 1) PC. The problem I've always faced with Firefox on my Windows 8.1 machine is that Firefox displays the text incorrectly, see screenshots here: http://1drv.ms/1xCwgJ0.
It happens more often in Favorites, menu, tabs bar and sometimes in the Web page. In fact, it can be any text element. What's wrong? ClearType is enabled.

I had asked someone to delete cache and instead via the options, I think they just remove a bunch of Mozilla applications. Since I did a clean reinstall, but something is still missing.
Most sites now increase with formatting lightened for the text and others raise this error sec_error_bad_signature. Everything is normal in Chrome.
Firefox displays the url without homepage and fine the new tab page, for what it's worth.

Firefox displays its own menus and the content of the website in black
No reason, that I am aware that I have not changed any other components / configuration. Firefox displays all of the content of any web site, generally I use www.bbc.co.uk as a test in the dark site, although if I click randomly around pieces of content are exposed as true / color. I can't use Firefox as I do not see the menu etc.
I uninstalled / reinstalled / moved to the latest version and was started in safe mode, deleted all caches, etc. but there's always black
Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Is it possible to completely disable tabs (remove all tab options menu) for firefox 10. I hate the tabs and the recent changes made to the incorrect selection of menus are "open in a new tab" when what I want is "open in a new window" a common and unwelcome occurrence.
You can hide menu items and move up / down in the menu with the Menu Editor extension.

How can I get the tabs to go on a single line and a menu of Firefox?
Firefox allows to have 2 lines above - Firefox menu with tabs and more and another line of the navigation toolbar. during the installation of some programs online, Firefox now have 3 lines at the top, with the Firefox menu on an entire line, the 2nd line of tabs and 3rd line of navigation toolbar. How can I get the tabs to go on a single line and a menu of Firefox?
With the current versions of Firefox, you can choose to use the menu of Firefox (orange in windows; gray Linux) button at the left end of the Windows title bar or bar menus familiar as in earlier versions. The Firefox button is displayed by default only in Windows Vista and Windows 7, but you can turn on or off or switch between the two or temporarily show the menu bar when the Firefox button is displayed.
- See how, click here-> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-updating-firefox#w_why-are-the-menus-file-edit-view-etc-missing
- Other changes after the upgrade-> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-updating-firefox
If you chose to use the Firefox button and you use the default tabs on top, the tab bar will move to the title bar with the Firefox button only when you are to maximize window (the ' square' the middle button in the upper right corner of the Windows standard application window). Other selected toolbars will be displayed below that (bar Navigation, Bookmarks Toolbar and the toolbars you add via Add - ons).
- For toolbar, see Selections-> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Back%20and%20forward%20or%20other%20toolbar%20items%20are%20missing

Can we put the tabs under the menu of firefox?
After you download the new FF4, they had a diagram shows the new look of FF and where everything has been moved to. On their layout either displays the tabs under the Firefox menu (button). He would show more of the character if it was like that, but after downloading the new version and opening FF the notches are next to the menu of Firefox, grouping at the top and does not leave a lot of room to show our great character we have downloaded. Does anyone know if this can be fixed in options or by and you add on?
- You cannot use the mode to enlarge it or turn it off.
- To disable this type of feature in the address bar: Subject: config then press "I'll be careful."
- In the filter box type: browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar , double-click this entry to enable it false.

Whenever I open Firefox, or when a website automatically opens a new window (NOT when I open a new tab or window) error message is displayed twice: ' [JavaScript error: "dir is zero" {file: 'file:///C:/Users/Steve/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/k8nfi7qa.default/extensions/%7B0538E3E3-7E9B-4d49-8831-A227C80A7AD3%7D/components/nsForecastfox.js' line: 323}] "when calling method: [ffIDiskService::get]"
Then, after closing the window of mistake twice, an AnyColor start/welcome screen appears in a second, open tab, which I then close to resume with the first tab (active). If I try to open the modules in the menu Tools, Firefox crashes and a script error message. It then becomes "unresponsive" and I have to force - close Firefox and reopen.This looks like a problem with an add-on, especially the Forecastfox extension. To test this try to disable the add-on in safe mode, for details on how to see the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems.

When I modified a page today, he then display correctly in browsers of the tests, when he had been showing properly a few days ago. It is a model and a CSS based page, as most of the pages on my site. I couldn't find anything in my code which should make this happen, then I've sailed on all the other pages that I had not changed. They were also correctly displayed in browsers tests. In other words, with the exception of a group of pages based on the same model, but to live in their own folder. I haven't worked on any of these pages except the original who started all this, nor have I changed the template or CSS styles page. Styles appear almost correctly, except that the columns are out of their container. Then, I renamed the page I was working on and downloaded on my server. It shows up there. Any ideas as to what makes these pages displayed incorrectly in browsers tests all of a sudden? BTW, I test it under Firefox and IE7.
Thanks, Hautecats... I appreciate your response! I followed your advice and replaced my local copy of my stylesheet with my remote copy and enough course. Problem solved. Thank you, once again!
