• The Win Explorer crashes/Context Menu Popups

  About 4-5 weeks, I started to have Windows Explorer freezes once or twice a day, especially when I start programs from the Start Menu. (I also use RocketDock and explore window will never block when programs start with her). I get a dialog box indicating that I have Windows restart Windows Explorer and the problem goes away. I've been tolerating this inconvenience.

  About 2 weeks, popups started appearing randomly in any program was in the active window (for example, Firefox, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) without me touching my mouse.   Apart from these two issues, which may or may not be related, my computer (a HP Pavillion) short great. All additional troubleshooting suggestions?

  If you want the whole Gore story?  Although it seems that the problem of context menu is not related to Windows Explorer crashes, the tests I did apparently cleared up that, too.  He has not re-emerged in about 5 days.

  While disabling the services (Microsoft and others), I came across many problems of implementation of some programmes and operation did not work properly, as one would expect.  When I excluded services as a cause and reactivate all, I started having problems with the Windows installation files.  First of all, WordPerfect would not go and had to be reinstalled, but only after using the Windows Install Clean Up Utility (WICUU) to clear the Setup done reference file.  Then, I had a Windows Update failed (for the first time) and could not install an update of Silverlight.  This problem leads to WICUU as reference to installation of Silverlight was also damaged.  (I'm sure that other installation problems will arise, but I'll take those as they come).

  I don't know if, during my diagnosis, I somehow damage the installation files (do not see how that could happen) or if there is an independent issue which will be me still beset.  HOWEVER, for the moment, all is well... no crashes, no popups.

  I have no idea why the Win Explorer crashes stopped.  But when it comes to Windows, I never look a gift horse in the eye.  If it is not broke, I ain't trying to fix.  For the time being.

  Your onMenu does not display a menu - it only fills (onMenu vs makeMenu).

  It should be more like:

• My Menu "Right click" on the links of text contains EACH Option of the Menu popup (or absent) and does not...

  When I right click on a text link (for example to "save the link under ' or 'Copy link location' etc.) the right click Menu that includes options for either:

  (a) EACH context menu (including images and videos and more... similar to this http://prntscr.com/z0k15 )
  (b) some of the relevant options, but not all (e.g. Save link as)

  ... in both cases, none of these options work, making it pretty useless right click Menu.

  This happens when a right click on the video or good Images. They work as usual. It is just text links.

  I tried:
  -Refreshing Firefox
  -Restart in Mode safe
  -Disabling the Extensions one by one

  None of this has worked.

  Any help would be massively apppreciated!

• iTunes 12.4 menu popup 'selection' now desperate

  iTunes updated itself and took a transition for me (and a few others, I see), but overall, I found a little less chaotic than 12.3.3 layout. However, one thing that's problematic is the change in the menu contextual "elipsis' (...) which is located to the right of each name of the song. In this menu, a used to be able to add items to playlists and to be able to do from a left click on the elipsis icon. You can always, but there's a caveat. I have a LOT of playlists in folders. If the files were closed in the sidebar of playlist, itunes would not list each item in the folder when choose to add to a playlist, now it does not list every playlist even in closed files, requiring a long scroll to find the right playlist and mirroring behavior to add it to the playlist point on the right click contextual menu standard.

  Someone has ideas how work around this problem and restore the previous behavior?

  I'm not aware of a way to return to the previous behavior.

  Instead of using this technique, you can just drag the songs to the playlist in the sidebar. That was always my favorite way...

  When the prompt appears asking do you want this program to make changes to this computer?, rather than enter a password, click on 'no '. Installation will continue, installation of Firefox in your user rather than in Program Files directory.
  If you prefer to install Firefox to another location, choose the installation type "Custom".

  Your comment, however, got me thinking, and a few clicks later, I discovered the exact nature of the problem. X - mouse.

  With X-mouse (currently enabled on Windows systems through the PowerToy TweakUI from MS - previously a separate PowerToy), the menu disappears when the mouse is moved. For those who do not know X-Mouse, it's a tweak by which the focus always follows the mouse. Very useful for several windows where you don't have to click to get the focus. Turn off completely eliminates the problem.

  Unfortunately, I personally used X-mouse for 15 years and you don't much like turn it off just for a program that cannot deal with an established mouse control mode of long date. I hope that this can be corrected for firefox, but I won't hold my breath.

  I agree that any type of control of the ring is a good choice, an appropriate event is EVENT_VAL_CHANGED.

  But I also remind you that the CVI comes with a large collection of examples of programs, some of them also include controls of the ring. Analyze these samples can also familiarize themselves with CVI.

  This use to work properly, so I have no idea of what I did.  I use to be able to hold my finger on the screen and get the pop-up menu, now nothing.  It still works if I hold the trackpad, but nothing when I hold my finger on the screen.

  By clicking on text in my Web page and causing a small window to open it.  I tried this in 2 ways: the first way, I get a new tab in my browser, but it is full size. the second way, I get a new tab in my browser AND a small pop-up window.

  This is the first way:

  1 putting highlight the text that should be an 'object '.

  2 enter a URL "link.

  3. the definition of the 'target' as _blank

  My link will open in a new tab in the browser.  It's good, but I want this to be a small window pop up so that my actual size Web page remains in the background.  Please note that, if I select another option for the 'target' or leave this area empty, my Web page is replaced with the url entered in the "link"

  Here is the second way:

  This opens my link in a new tab in the browser AND opens a small pop-up that same link.  My Web page remains in another tab of the browser, but does not appear in the background (I have to close both the browsesr popup tab and news in order to go back to my Web page).

  Dreamweaver does not leave me empty ' link' field and select 'Open the browser window' in the 'behaviour', which I believe is originally thi redundancy.  As my "object" is not an image imported, but instead of text (such as 'click here' I want to turn it into an object), I wonder if I have to import some file type (jpg, etc.) as an object in order to achieve my goal.  Can someone tell mw what I am doing wrong?
