message - complete iCloud storage iBooks (but isn't)

Hello

I turned on sync for iBooks iCloud after update to OS X 10.11.4. Now I get a message that sync is not possible that my iCloud storage is full. But I have a plan of 1 TB with 650 GB of free space.

I guess it's a problem I have two accounts:

(1) the iTunes Store ([email protected]) account, which is older than iCloud is

(2) the iCloud ([email protected]) account that has storage (650 GB space left)

In iBooks I am connected to my Bank (1) account, which is required to buy the content. Maybe iBooks trying to synchronize with this account? Can I configure iBooks to use my my iCloud account storage (2)?

I am still very confused with all my accounts (in fact there are 2 accounts more some reasons). There is still no option to merge all accounts into one?

Thank you for any input!

Same problem here, the only difference is that I have just an account iCloud, with 4 GB left, but iBooks keeps telling me "storage iCloud is full"

I bought a used iPhone 4S about six months ago. Got an AT & T plan with data. Not upgrade to iOS 9.3 I read that it wasn't a good idea for older phones. Implement iCloud for ONLY mail and SMS. No pictures. I have cut my weekly mail.

Now, I get a notice that iCloud is already full, and I have to pay for more storage. Why? There is nothing on the phone! I also have an iPad3 and a banal ASUS PC, which is where I store my photos and my photos. How would you complete the storage? Why do I pay Apple more money? They do not have enough?

Go to settings/general/storage and use iCloud. Click on storage management in the ICLOUD section. It will tell you exactly how your iCloud-storage space is affected.

    Welcome to the Apple community.

Please check that your device is correctly connected to the wireless internet (settings > wifi) and is plugged into a power source, check also that you have enough space in iCloud for your back upward.

You can check the space available in settings > iCloud > storage and the space needed for the next backup to the settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage > backups > appliance > Back Up Options > next backup size (wait for the spinning until the gear icon).

Assuming that you are eligible for iCloud upward, you should try a forced first stop, hold down the buttons side in top and home together until the unit stops, then restart by pressing the side/up button.

Then, try to connect the device to a new location (different WiFi network)

If your backup continues to fail, you can try to disable the backup on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > backup), reboot the device and then turn on BackUp on new.

If this help not disable backup again, remove your existing back to the top of settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage > backup > this device (scroll down) > delete backup, restart the device and then turn on BackUp.

If you are unable to make a return to the top, try to connect on iCloud (settings > iCloud (scroll down) > Sign Out (you will need to enter your password at this point), restart the device and sign in iCloud to settings > iCloud.)

The next thing to try would be to restore your network settings. (Settings > general > reset > reset network settings)

Reset your network settings will erase your cell phones and wireless network settings, including saved networks, passwords for wifi and VPN settings, that you can use. It will affect to the Internet but will not be an impact on telephone services because these settings are automatically configured by your carrier. It may take a few moments to enter again all your network settings, but it shouldn't cause you any major problems. If you are comfortable re - enter your network settings, you can try this step earlier in the troubleshooting procedure, i.e. after the forced shutdown suggested above.

If this does not help, try to disable some elements for the back upward in a model to try to establish if your problem is caused by specific data on your device. You can do with settings > iCloud > storage > storage management > backup > appliance > Back Up Options.

If you are still not able to perform a backup from iCloud, you can try to restore your phone which you should do by making an iTunes backup via your computer and restore from that.

Be able to go back to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you have access to a computer or rarely have access to one, however unless you need specifically to use iCloud to go back, you'll find a backup on iTunes much more convenient and possibly more reliable. However if you save up to iTunes be sure to encrypt the back upward if you want to keep your data on health and passwords etc.

My iCloud storage becomes full and I did all the tips and tricks to free up space, but the main application which takes up my storage is my photos. I went through all my photos to remove those unnecessary. I have 385 photos that seem much compared to some people who have thousands of photos. I don't understand why my photos take a storage capacity so when I see my friends and family have thousands of photos and even space available!

  • Cannot download VM hard files - "storage expected but message Got: ERROR".

    Hello

I have a few virtual machines, I can't download the hard using the data store Navigator. I get "storage expected but message Got: ERROR".

This doesn't happen with some virtual machines, and not all my virtual machines.

It seems that the virtual machine is locked. I check if there's no matter what ISO in the CD/DVD, there is none.

I have restart one of the servers and try to save again, still no luck, same error.

All the VMs use the same storage

Recently, I pass this infrastructure to vShpere, all the virtual machines have the VMware tools and virtual hardware update

Any ideas, what is locked this VMs that prevents them from download?

I have noticed that, when I start to use Veeam to back up virtual machines

    Thank you

    LP

If you can, you can try to remove the path. As I said, I've never had a problem like this.

After fixing on the side of the storage, rescan everything and try again.

  • No option to save messages to iCloud?

    Hello

I thought you used to be able to choose if you want to save your messages to iCloud?  Under settings > iCloud?  The option is not there on my iPhone or iPad.

My wife has been removed and a load of messages from my iPhone (I should never have given him my phone) and I want them back.

They are still there on my iPad and macbook.  But missing on my iPhone.

How to make a comeback?  I don't think I can use iTunes that I never use it towards the rear for (the last return is older).  Do somehow to restore your previous backup (which was this morning) to my iPhone so they reappear from that moment to go?

Your messages are contained in the backup to iCloud. You can not exclude them from the backup. Restore the backup to iCloud. Read this.

  • If you choose to download the originals to your device involved the complete iCloud library or only the items originally taken by a device?

If you choose to download the originals to your device which means your iCloud full library or just the pictures and photos taken with this camera? For example, the pictures on your Mac which are also on the iCloud photo library, ones which also downloads to the device for example an iPhone?

    Thank you

Originals of pictures of your current iCloud photo library will be downloaded into the unit, if you do not use 'optimize storage '.  Disable this option only on your iPhone If you have enough of free storage on the iPhone for the complete iCloud photo library on your device.

  • PC warns me that iCloud storage is almost full every few minutes

Hi all, I have a Dell Inspiron 10 Windows I use now because my Mac came out for running repairs. I installed iCloud on it, and now I get a notification in my system tray about every 5 minutes telling me that my iCloud storage is almost full. It's really annoying - the notification makes a hanging sound and forces me to close them myself. I can't find any way to stop these notifications without having to buy more storage, I don't want to do. Is there another way to stop? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud. Thank you.

You can disable notifications for iCloud:

Menu - settings - system - Notifications & Actions - start and then scroll down to "See the notifications of these apps,"

Click on iCloud and you will have options to completely turn off the notifications, disable 'See the notification banners' or turn off the notification sound
