  Hello

  IM wondering if our desktop printer might print the first page of the paper tray 1 and tray 2 throughout?

  Allowing me to print my first page of the document on a thicker paper in Tray 1. Then the rest of the pages on a thinner paper in tray 2.

  Is it possible and if yes, how can I do?

  I can't tell you the exact steps, but it is doable and it implies to define the type of tray 1 to letterhead.

  After that, I said I just believe that you specify in the processor you want the first page printed on letterhead.

  When you specify a paper type then this page will be drawn from a set with this type.

• CP 1518ni methoeds is blurred

  The printer is 3 years old and has worked perfectly since I got it.  I updated the firmware on this weekend and the printer now prints the first pages in a blurry text.  Once you print pages 3 and 4, it lightens and is fine until you go in mode 'sleep'.  Once you start mode outy 'sleep', the same problem occurs.

  The printer is networked and has the same problem using a mac or windows computer and all programs.

  I've recalibrated many times and it solves the problem, until he falls asleep again.

  I've also done the factory reset on it and it does not change the issue when he goes to sleep.

  This could be caused by several things.  It could be something as simple as a bad or as complex as bad laser toner cartridge.  Try following the steps described in this document.  It should help clear things upward.  Let me know what happens.

• Problem with methoeds duplex

  I have a problem in Windows 10 with Acrobat PRO DC version 15.006 and Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.017 and the Brother HL-2270DW printer . No option to duplex or double don't print side available. Another application (Word, Excel, Edge, etc.) allows to print in duplex. The latest version of the Brother printer driver is installed.

  If the printer has duplex printing option, you will get the option in the print dialog box. Once you select the printer name required in the drop-down list of printer menu, option "Print on both sides of the paper" will appear in the dialog box as shown in the screenshot below.

  

  Try to 'Repair installation' under the help of the application menu.

  If this does not help, try to uninstall application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool and restart your device.

• Oversized print

  Last week, I was able to print UPS shipping labels as I had for years, then Friday the labels from printing too big for the page. Today, same thing with Fedex, methoeds labels oversized. I does no change to the browser settings, what could be the problem?

• My HP Officejet-6413 - is unable to fax a Document from the PC

  My PC is Windows 7 64 bit.

  I had to remove and re-install "HP Officejet J6413".

  The HP device is connected through Ethernet LAN House and work correctly for printing and scanning tasks.

  However, entering "Devices and printers", I can see only 'Officeject HP J6400 Series' but not 'HP Officeject J6400 FAX Series', as it was before. (I also have the options of PDF or PCX methoeds)

  In this case, I can't send a fax of a file in my PC.

  How can I 'Add' the 6400 Fax in the list of printers?

  I see that you are having a problem when trying to fax from the computer.

  I suggest that we start by running the HP print and Scan Doctor.  If any software is not present, the doctor will let us know what it is.

• ink cartridge issue

  I have a Photosmart 7510 and my small black cartridge is empty. The biggest is always good (new), but I can not any methoeds of the machine. I don't understand why.

• Ignored in cp1525n escape sequence

  I have a printer model cp1525n. I developed an application for system of vxWorks 5.5 using C/C++ code operating.

  I am able to read a log file and issue prints on the printer through my application but becomes only black & white printing. I tried to use PCL (printer command language) escape sequences for color printing , but I still haven't methoeds black & white only

  Printer responds, but the text of the of escape sequences is is printed, rather than remaining hidden and followed. The printed text follows, but is unaffected by the printer codes sent.

  Escape sequences are inserted by the application and are not incorporated in the text file.

  Printer configured on LAN and printing of orders are sent on a TCp/IP port

  While blackcolor. all characters after the escape sequence ("\x1B []') are also getting printed. I read that these esape sequences are used to control the graphics appeal options in the printer. they are not supposed to have it printed.

  do I have to follow some other steps too?

  Your escape sequences are almost certainly print because what you generate are sequences not valid.

  Required sequences are shown here (with descriptions):

  E            Printer Reset
  *r3U         Simple Colour: 3-Plane RGB Palette
  *v1S         Foreground Colour (index = 1)

  where:

  represents the escape character (the decimal character code 27or hexadecimal 1B, or (for archaic use) octal 033).

  Note that it does not '[] ' character!

  There may be some confusion because with some applications, the escape character (a character of no graphic control code) is represented by something like "→ [" (depending on the application) in the same way that I represented using the "" place-holder in the above explanation.] "

  The printer is supported on one of the latest versions of OS X (10.6, 10.7 and 10.8) however the veries of support for different models.

  For the PSC 1300 (e.g. 1355) series there are print and scan drivers available,

  For the PSC 1310 series (e.g., 1315) only functionaity printing is available for the latest versions of operating system.

  Download and install the software below, it includes software available for any of the models:

  http://support.Apple.com/kb/dl907

  Then, plug the USB and try methoeds.

  For any question, please specify your exact version of Mac OS X, exact model of printer and the exact behavior that you see.

  I continue to have problems of methoeds when I try to print from my MAC to my HP Photosmart C7280 All computer in One Printer. Sometimes it prints, but most of the time I have to reload the printer and continue to try... Is there a fix - best driver for MAC? I'm desperate before throwing the printer and buy another...

  Everything worked fine for about 6 months or more.

  When my daughter came home for the summer, I tried to install the driver on the MacAir.  That's when the trouble started: I lost the abilities wireless on my PC (which, after several attempts to resume by reinstalling the software, I'm finally able to print wireless - ly now), BEFORE - I was able to print directly from the screen, NOW - I have to save the PDF file on my desktop and then print it.  BEFORE - I was able to print without having to adjust the sizing before each print job, I have to deal with NOW - sizing every time.

  Has no matter how he had these same questions, and you have all the solutions for methoeds directly from the screen (without the step of having to first SAVE the page) and to avoid having to resize the page before printing each time?

  Welcome to the HP forums!

  I see that you are having problems with printing wireless from your Windows computer to your Deskjet 2542. I can certainly help you with this, but I'll need a little more information first.

  • (1) what program you print from your computer?
  • (2) is the "Save as PDF" and the paper size problem occur for each program or just one you mentioned above?

  I suspect you are trying to print from the Google Chrome browser. If this is the case then:

  1) go to the print window (by pressing CTRL + P) under Chrome:

  (2) on the next screen, select Change next to the Destination.

  

  3) click on your printer in the list of printers Local of Destination .

  

  (4) click on print.

  This should allow you to print now without intervention to save it or paper size settings.

  Please let me know if that solves your problems. If this does not resolve all then please post your answers to my questions above and I will be able to help you further.

• Duplex in Windows 10

  

  Duplex Methoeds option is available on devices windows 7, but not with the new windows laptop 10. I installed an updated printer driver, but it seems that the option to print double-sided is still missing (see above).

  I was wondering if there is newer software driver/extra to find this function?

  From your images, it seems that your model of printer is a printer DeskJet 2540 (I know little about these devices - my expertise is with class laser printers business).

  The data sheet for this printer indicates:

  

  i.e. the device does not have a duplex unit physics, so he cannot perform Automatic duplex printing, and it is why there is no relevant installable option.

  He can do duplex printing Manual (where one side of each page is printed, the leaves removed from the output bin and placed in the input tray, then the other side of each page is printed on the back).

  This manual duplex printing depends on it being supported by the printer and demand driver.

  Your images, it seems that you are using a "2540 DeskJet series class driver.

  I think many of these drivers 'Class' are "function mimimal rudimentary', which is probably why you can't find a two-sided feature.

  Your only option is probably to check to see if there is another driver (no class) available for your version of OS.

• Photosmart 7360 D indicates a communication error - but still works.

  On my MacBook, the printer suddenly wants to print levels of supplies and said that there is a communication error. I didn't ask it methoeds these levels and in fact they are not found. If trying for a minute or two, it decreases the levels of supplies and continue to print my document. It indicates that there is a communication error. Working on Lion.

  I tried restarting the computer and the printer. The printer is connected via a Time Capsule.

  What can I do about it?
