  • Microsoft 5000 wireless mouse does, even with new batteries

My wireless mouse was running perfectly for a while, and then for a few days the wheel flickered red (no message on the screen). He then stopped working all together. I replaced the batteries, but it not - light at all! No lights or anything like that. Meanwhile, the keyboard still works perfectly.

16 March 2015 it is today and I was able to find the problem (at least for me).

Remove the two batteries and then re-install.

Apparently when replace you them one at a time, the system becomes confused or something (I don't know, as I'm not an engineer). If you get them both at the same time and * then * begin replacing them, it seems to work fine.

    Weird, I know.

    Hello

    1. you have the Microsoft transceiver?

Try the steps below to connect to Microsoft Transreciver.

    (a) press and hold the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the mouse. If your device is equipped with a battery indicator light, it flashes red/green to indicate that the device is discoverable.

    (b) on your computer, open the Bluetooth software. The Bluetooth software is usually found Control Panel in the start menu. For more information, see open the Bluetooth software below.

    (c) in the devices tab, click Add

  • What do all the Microsoft 5000 wireless comfort keyboard keys?

I just bought the Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard and Mouse Combo 5000.

I've looked everywhere but can't find anything to explain how all the keys on the keyboard
and the mouse buttons. Nothing came with the unit and I can not find this simple information on your website.
Can you please direct me where I can get this info or you can give it here?
    Thank you!
But what is the control panel you are referring?

I was referring to Windows 7 Control Panel. To access the Control Panel click on the ORB to Start on the taskbar to display the start menu. On the right side, you should see the control panel.

When you initially open the Control Panel, it may be in view by: category (top right). Click on the small arrow to the right of the category to change large icons or small iconsview. When you are in the display of the icon, you should see the applets for keyboard and mouse.

The link of the control panel in the start menu is usually displayed by default, but there is a chance that it will not be displayed, so you will need to enable it. To do Yes right click on an empty space on the taskbar, on the shortcut menu that appears, click Properties. In the bar of tasks and the Start Menu Properties dialog box, click the Start Menu tab, and then click the Customize button. In the dialog box Customize the Start Menu to the top of the list, you should see the Control Panel, select display as a link and click OK at the bottom of the dialog box, then in the dialog box properties of the Start Menu and task bar again click OK at the bottom. The link to the control panel should now be displayed in the start menu.

Another way to display the control panel is Panel by typing in the search on the Start menu, the control panel should appear at the top of the list under programs, click, or press enter .

Once in the Control Panel, you should be able to follow the steps I described in my first answer.

Since you were not aware of how to access the Control Panel, it sounds as if you're somewhat new to Windows 7, the links below can help you to become more familiar with Windows 7.

  • Microsoft 3500 wireless mouse causes the computer crashes?

I recently bought the microsoft 3500 mouse - I used the 4000 before on this computer, and it worked well and was a good mouse, so I decided to buy it. I installed it last night (Windows had some difficulties to recognize the software), and it worked fine. I left the USB plugged when I turned off the computer.

I tried to start this morning and my computer froze and did not go beyond the screen initial screen/first of the motherboard - it wouldn't even go to BIOS. It started off fine, however, when I disconnected mouse USB and tried to start without him. Anyone has an explanation as to why this is happening?

Check in the BIOS as to ensure that the BOOT sequence does not list USB before the floppy drive / CD / hard drive.

  • Can I use any receiver for Microsoft Wireless mouse 3500

I have Microsoft 3500 Wireless mouse, couple weeks back I lost his nano-receiver, can anyone help figure out if I can use any other receiver for her or I have to buy new mouse collect them all?

If you have a receiver to predict the "Microsoft Wireless Mouse 3500" you might be able to connect again - not positive on this one (some Logitech devices can be "trained" to use other receivers).

In general though - if you lose the receiver, that the mouse is golden.

  • can I use a microsoft wireless mouse 4000 bleutooth with a microsoft no nano Transceiver

The nano microsoft tranciever overheated and stopped working. So I wonder if an another brand nano Transceiver can again function microsoft 4000 wireless mouse?

    Hello

Transceiver nano Bluetooth USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a Plug-and-Play device, and it should work with Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse.

I suggest to login and check if it works with Windows7 and let us know if you have any questions, so that we can better help you.

If the Microsoft Mouse is under warranty then you can ask for the replacement of the mouse as it was affected by overheating.
