  Thanks for the reply.  I thought about it!  I was using an older impression to the driver (part of an access macro I use) pdf...  When I use the print to the pdf driver that is installed with Acrobat DC fields are found as in the online tutorial.  I was very pleasantly surprised.  Yahoo.

  I'm new on VMware Fusion and running v2.0.1 (128865) on an Intel Mac mini.  I have a vm XP with office 2003 Professional.  Each document that I opened is always read-only.  I have checked the permissions, re-installed VMware Tools, checked the installation of office (under sp3)...

  What have I done wrong?

  Any ideas, help, tips are greatly appreciated

  If the source is an optical read only world expect.

  If the source is a shared VMware folder, make sure that the permissions are set read/write & under the Virtual Machine > settings > sharing

  If she a SMB/CIFS check the permissions are set to read & write.

  If that does not cover it then provide detailed information as to the source of the files as well as the permissions are set.

• Windows 10 replaces Adobe apps with Microsoft applications.  Is this legal?

  My laptop updated my Windows 10 version 10 version 1511 and entered my settings private and changed my Adobe to Microsoft document viewer.  Seems to me they're trying to get out the image by changing my settings to use Microsoft Adobe.  I know that if I were Adobe, I'd be very sorry with private parameters them of people with access to remove the ability of Adobe to open documents for users who have specifically chosen Adobe for this function.  It took me hours to put the changes that they facts back to the way I wanted to.  I asked Microsoft on a chat line on the subject twice, and they me disconnected both times.  It seems that they don't like people like me questioning their invasion of privacy.   Is this legal?  Doesn't seem fair.

  I have seen this with Microsoft Edge and all I had to do was launch IE or Edge parameter allows to open the URI in IE.

  Adobe and Microsoft have been Duel for years. It's cheaper, not to enter a legal action.   Hello experts, I have added WebCenter workflow Microsoft document explore task in my ADF which as a parameter called resourceId.   I want to pass variable bean to this setting, because the content ID (doc name or ID) are determined dynamically.

  When I provide ${"UCM57Server #dDocName:1379596941565_CONTACT_OPTREGI"} as a resource in the expression ID, it works very well.    But samething if I attribute to a bean bean variable and entitlement in the form ${sessionScope.MyBean.docName}, it evaluates the variable bean in the form ${"UCM57Server #dDocName:1379596941565_CONTACT_OPTREGI"} and then below throws the exception:

• How to select text on several pages of the PDF document

  I really could use your expertise.  I know that some people will say it is not a question of Acrobat, but I think it might be.  I scanned the 3 pages and saved in PDF format.  When I open the file it opens in Microsoft Document Imaging.  I have ocr and then I save it to PDF and open it in Acrobat 8 Pro.  I need to select text in the 3 pages and can only find a way to select the text on the first page?  I don't want to retype this information if any suggestion would be great.  I tried to save to tiff, but that no longer works.  I have a lot of reports I have to scan and then select text and cut and paste to word.  Is there a better product to achieve?  Remember that documents will be scanned.

  Since you have OCR has analysis and the PDF file contains text, the easiest way is to use Save as and select DOC. Don't expect formatting and others to be preserved, but typing must be intact. The other option is to a continuous page view and highlight the entire document, then copy and paste the word. Yet once, you won't have to preserve formatting and others. Other than that (which, from what I've read, what you asked), I'm not clear on what you are after.

  My son has a Toshiba Satellite R10 P750 and problems of spontaneous closures.
  Looking at the system log, it is a 'kernel Power Event 41"for each occurrence.

  It happened several times today so now it's a major issue, but it's happened for the last 6 months (a total of 21 entries) but spread over time.

  My personal opinion is that you should back up all important data and reinstall the OS. It is certainly more radical method but also the most effective to solve these problems. After doing this you will own preinstalled OS and everything will be OK again.

• Tecra 8100 hangs after startup

  My Tecra 8100 has the same problem as described some time ago: the memory locations of MB were broken and doesn't have a connection properly. Even when I put paper or anything else between the cover and the memory module, it did not work and often my laptop has not yet started.

  I bought the new MB and now the laptop still start (I can see BIOS etc.) BUT crashes after Windows XP logo with notice: windows cannot start because the pci.sys file is damaged... The names of 'corrupt' are different, not only from pci.sys.

  When I portable computer boot from CD Win (to save the system) it blocks (crashes after 2-3 minutes). I tried to boot from Ultimate Boot Cd to detect the problem, but I can't do anything - always crashes after a short period of time - never start to run tests or Tools CD.

  I think that there is a problem of memory - I have 2 modules Kingston KTT-SO100/256, I tried to place them in different locations, together and alone, but nothing changes.
  These modules have worked with my old MB all the time.

  Any ideas?

  I read on other forums that this error can appear if the modules of memory are corrupt or not compatible or the memory on the motherboard slot is faulty.

  Well, you have replaced the Board but do you use 100% identical to that of first?
  Perhaps modules of memory are not compatible with the new Board of Directors.
