Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 installation problem (2004)

When I do a custom load on my Dell pc and then run the program, create a flight, fly, save it, then escape out, close the program, remove the 4 disc and try running the program again, he keeps asking to insert disk 4.  How can I solve this problem?

Unfortunately, my only experience is with CFS2, so I can't help with that Sim about the statement

saying: no custom installation required if disc is used, but you can use a noCD fix/hack if necessary.
-Note that two patches requires the game patched to 9.1. These are of simple replacements executable (.exe).

I recommend you to save the original. Just move that a new subfolder in the folder even the .exe is in.

(You need not the .nfo file). ----here ----

-You can try something else. If the games on other machines do not require the CD then copy/paste

the installation of these machines may work the same.

If there are any records for the game in your My Documents or App folders Data copy them so

(or try them first that they have a change in an .ini or the .cfg file that allows not to use the CD?).

    Hello

    1. which edition of Windows are you using? Is - this edition is 32-bit or 64-bit?

Given that the game is compatible with Windows 7, I suspect that the conflict can be 32-bit or 64-bit architecture.
The link below shows the compatibility of this game with Windows 7.

    Method 1.
We must ensure that the edition of the game must correspond with the operating system.
If you use 64-bit in this game, you need the 64-bit Windows to install it.
    Method 2.
If the above information matching I you recommend to start the computer in clean condition and then try to install the game.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state.

  • Microsoft flight simulator 2004 help!

When im downloading the game, I get up to 63% and stops. A message comes up saying "Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 has encountered a disk error while writing the leader to C/Program files/Microsoft Games / Microsoft Simulator 9/Sound/Precip/c2prec3.wav.» Make sure your hard disk is not full or the file is not currently in use"

I tried to copy the file from the disk on the record Flight sim and he said that c2prec3.wav has been used so I think that's the problem. The only thing is that I don't know where it is in use. Any ideas as soon as POSSIBLE please?

  • Error code 0 x 8004072 during the installation of Microsoft Flight Simulator

    Original title: Dave

    I'm under Windows8.

Previously, I had Microsoft Flight Simulator installed successfully.

Following some automatic windows updates to Flight Simulator, stopped working.

I uninstalled then reinstalled but received the error code 0 x 8004072 and instruction GameuxInstallHelper dll could not be opened.

Research of the computer for this dll has revealed that it was not present on my machine.

I downloaded this file from a web site and no longer have error messages, but not Flight Simulator has completed loading, there is no exe. file.

What can I do about it?

    Hello

    Naman.R

At a somewhat later time, checks the file of Microsoft games on my PC, the search in the folder FSX FSX.exe had reappeared, I noticed.

By clicking on, a window informing me that the installation continues.

Once this is completed, Flight Simulator was fully operational again.

Re-install the drive of the accelerator also progressed well, and everything now works perfectly.

I can only assume that something I did while following your advice has eliminated the problem.

Want to know the final outcome of the thought.

    Much thanks

    Dave.

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 required administrator rights

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (I know, I know) and when I try to run it from a limited account, I get an error stating that I have administrator privileges. Is it possible to replace that or enter my password once? I don't need my children asking me my password every time they want to play. It doesn't seem like it does all what changes the computer, why can't it be used in a user account only limited?

    Specifications of the computer:

    • HP (not sure of the exact model number)
    • Windows XP SP3 (fully updated)
    • AMD Athlon X 2 Dual Core 4400 + @2.19 Ghz
    • 1 GB OF RAM
    • Graphic ATI Express 200 Radon

I don't mind enter my password once to grant access, I'm not only you have to enter it every time my kids want to play. Thank you for your help.

    This is normal.

As a work around, follow these steps:

    1. Click on the shortcut or the name of the program file.
    2. Click Advanced, click run with different credentials, and then click OK.
    3. Start the program.
    4. When you are prompted, type an administrator user ID and password.

Failed to install Microsoft Flight Simulator, Version Deluxe 2010. I am running Windows 7 Ult 64 bit. The program will not install, it's an error that it cannot find the file. I tried everything, but it does not install. This is the full version of three discs.

Press ok and then it states that the system has not changed except for... »

I am convinced that Flight simulator is not intended to be run on a 64-bit computer that is very disappointing. I have a program which should install without all the aggravation I had to endure. If you run them 64-bit machines do not buy this product. I tried since it first came out. I feel at the moment where I get it going it will be a version dated date out. Wait until there is a version dedicated 64-bit, you will save yourself a lot of grief. I have an Asus dual core Centrino 2, 2.6 GB h. computer laptop with 4 GB memory. I install my DVD direct program. It worked when the computer is a 32-bit computer.

What finally worked for me when I tried to install MSFSX Gold Edition has been that I copied the disc 1 FS to my office.  Then I copied the contents of the FS 2 disc and put the files in the same folder.  When're asked you if you want to replace the files with the same name on both drives say no.  It seemed to work well for me when nothing else did.

I haven't read of anyone doing this exactly, it's my own invention/workaround bit AFAIK. Hope this works for all of you who cannot make it work otherwise.

    System:
    ASUS G50v-t
Intel Core 2 Duo Centrino 2, 2.26 GHz
