Microsoft Laser 5000 mouse

I just bought a Vista PC and find now that my mouse Laser will not parade in some applications, MS Access:-don't parade not in the tables at all, some web pages with Java not will allow me to scroll out but can scroll (zoom) in, it still works very well if I connect to my XP machine and if I connect a wired mouse base on my Vista PC which runs perfect. I have tried everything I can find on the internet, including the latest intellipoint 6.3, uninstalling, reinstalling I am now at my wits end and I'm all for empty this mouse (which is only a few months old) for a wired, I hesitate to do as the mouse is fantastic apart from this scrolling issue.

Any suggestions?

Hi again Keith,

If you can borrow the, plug in a keyboard and a wired mouse, you should be able to remove the drivers. In addition, the Microsoft PS/2 mouse is the "generic" mouse driver If it has an exclamation on it, we try to fix that first. Right-click on the device and select "update driver".

After you delete the files for the laser mouse, you can try what Gloria has suggested.

Hang on,

    Hello Dave,

Please provide a detailed description of the issue.

There could be a possibility that this issue would have occurred because of damaged in the system wireless mouse drivers.

  • Microsoft Wireless 5000 mouse not recognized by Windows 7, after Vista update

2 days ago I upgraded my Dell Dimension e521 from Vista to Windows 7 - it was the upgrade, not own full installation.

Everything is apparently very well, except the mouse I had used throughout the process, was now does not. The mouse is a Microsoft Wireless 5000, part of the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 BlueTrack-keyboard mouse, USB packet. The keyboard, which share the same USB wireless receiver is entirely sensible.

    I tried the following to resolve the problem, without success;

-Uninstall and reinstall the software for the keyboard and mouse

-Purchase of a new set office (indicated on the packaging as "compatible with Windows 7") and through the complete installation.

-Going to Device Manager and check/update the driver EVERY. They are all now current.

-J' I followed all the advice on the page of Microsofts "Troubleshooting a wireless mouse that does not correctly.

+ I changes the batteries on the two devoces

+ I have tried different ports

+ I have tested the device on another computer

+ I tried to use the mousinfo tool

+ I tried to use the appwiz.cpl application, to find the incompatible software, but but no program appears when I type appwiz.cpl in the start search box.

+ Reset after every time I changed something.

None of these steps resulted in no changes - the keyboard is still sensitive, but the mouse is dead. I do not receive the error messages, the cursor just dead center in the middle of the screen.

Needless to say, I am more and more frustrated. As I'm not particularly computer warned - I am not a root of the others - USB hub I'm out of options...

    Help, please!

  • Microsoft Wireless 5000 Mouse stutters / freezes when accessing HDD

Sometimes when using my Windows 7 64 bit with all the latest updates of the mouse's freeze/stuttering during disk access.  It moves around the screen in the jumps.  Making it difficult to use.  I can use the keyboard very well in games like Warcraft.  But the mouse does not work well, until the player turns off.

Sometimes, it seems more for indexing of the drive.  Just after I delete the files or move some.  On my last update of Windows, it shows that I have no update to do rather than language.

Is there a way to fix this?

I recently bought a laptop computer Lenovo ideapad Y530 and a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.  I can't mouse to be recognized by the application of Bluetooth device.  I can go into the control panel and I see the icon of Bluetooth device.  I can click on it, but I can't select device settings.  When I click on device settings it is just and do not return the user interface.  Also when I followed some of the suggestions in the other forums on enter the services.msc look for Bluetooth Support to ensure that it is on, that service does not appear on my list to select.  Also, it does not find the device mouse even when it is in pairing mode.

This icon does not appear on the status bar at the bottom of the screen with the other icons either.  The WLAN icon is there but not the Bluetooth.  Is there a way for me to check to make sure that the Bluetooth is actually being run and get the mouse to work?  I have Windows VISTA with service Pack 2 on the laptop.
