• My footer will not dynamically move when you add content to the body.

  I built a model with my envelope header and footer protected as unchangeable. I applied the template to all pages except the index.html page. When I add content in the content body inside a div box there will be blood in the area of the film instead of pushing down. So my menu wrap and footer must move down that I dynamically add content. How can I solve this problem?

  This was bugs me for a while and feel that there is probably an easy fix for this.

  When I drag and drop a file (image, video, etc.) in the project to the composition/timeline panel, AE automatically decides that the length of the file is that of the whole of the compositions. Much of the time I want this file to be only say 10 seconds long while the whole composition may be 60 years for a long time. I know that you can drag and drop the file into the current-time indicator, it will still be long in the 1960s in this case however. So I have to 'manually' cropping the length of the layer.

  Is there a shortcut keyboard or something you can do with markers to decide the length of the file/layer before/while drop you in the composition?

• Illustrator crashes when you try to open the preferences window

  I have CS5 on windows 7. When I try to open the illustrator of window preferably hangs and does not open it. I can hit escape and it will go back to work very well. I tried to leave thinking maybe it was a strange problem loading, but nothing changes. Other that that everything works perfectly well just refuses to open the preference window. I tried searching but I can't find anyone else with this issue, I hope I do not have to reinstall but it's starting to look like, maybe it's my only option.

  The default behavior is. I just hold down the alt/opt and then convert the point at a point without handles.
