Microsoft popup

Hello

I started very recently to get a popup box with several smaller boxes inside.  It seems arbitrary, and I can't navigate my mouse cursor of what it contains.  I think that it is a part of microsoft, as the box in the lower left corner is the symbol of microsoft.  There are also boxes with symbols to minimize, close, mouse and many others that I don't remember right now.  I have not loaded or downloaded something recently and do not know why this is happening or where it came from.  I checked my programs and scheduled tasks and nothing is out of use and did a system restore and no change.  Please help me get rid of this

Craig

  • URGENT: issue of Microsoft popup task flow

    All,
I have a requirement to illustrate a dialog popup logic in the workflow of ADF. So, let me give you an example.

You have a page with a command button to this topic. You click the command button to run a java method. This java method then returns a value, and according to this value, I want to show a popup in the Visual context of the original page (which means that the background of the original page is grayed out and you see the bunk popup). From there on, I want the user to select an option and then allow a control flow from the popup other interventions accordingly.

    Here's what I tried.

    1. I tried a workflow run as a dialog box, but the return only goes back to the command button, never of itself. IMO, I would love to see that to be changed to allow the flow of control of a popup to continue.
    2. I tried the dialog box: frame, but that only works when you go directly to your popup and not do anything in betweem, as a method.
    3. I have tasks flow that is not run as a dialog box, even if I tell the button to run as an external window. It simply replaces the original page.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

This is possible even with the solution I documented here: http://oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/fnimphius/popupinuishell/declarative_popup_in_uishell.html

You can use a workflow activity call to launch a popup. The return of the context menu then determines the second stop of the navigation. Beside that, navihation always is from one view to the other and does not stop in a method call activity. For this reason you cannot use a method call activity to directly open the popup

  • Should I upgrade to Windows 8.1 Windows 8?

    Separated from this thread.

Hello, my question is, should I update 8 to 8.1 if I don't want?

After reading all the problems that people have had this update, I'd rather just stay with 8 which works fine for now.  However, if I continue to ignore the Microsoft popup to upgrade I have to upgrade at some point in the future?

Knowing Microsoft, I just have a feeling that I won't have a choice soon.  Does anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.

Should you? Lol but you should definitely.

After reading all the problems that people have had this update, I'd rather just stay with 8 which works fine for now.

This is a typical situation: (here, other forums, to messages
focus groups, etc.) Since the small percentage of people who have
problems, but you don't see any message from the countless others who have
no problems (like me and everyone else I know). These people
no problem not asking what to do.

As someone said one day, hang around a store of transmission for awhile and
you think that all cars have transmission problems.

This is not to say that I can guarantee you that you will have problems with
it. but the risk of problems is low.

  • A friend received a scam popup "Microsoft."

She works on computer and got a pop-up "Microsoft", telling him that his computer was in jeopardy and dial this number: 1-800-533-7585.

Then talked to Bruce, who said he was in California and he took over his computer.  He said where there were security gaps or violates and said she had a Trojan horse and that she had to buy Norton Antivirus.  She got suspicious and called his ISP on his phone.  The woman said that MS would not send this message so she hung up Bruce.  She received an invoice by e-mail of SOFTECH HIBISCUS in Delaware.  (We have the address and phone whether it would be useful to the invoice).

What programs should we run to make sure that your computer is secure?

    Hello

    Scam.

Microsoft Corporation and/or their affiliates will never get in touch with you through "popups", phone calls (unless you make arrangements with them), etc.,.

And your computer does not send reports to someone saying it is infected by malware, errors, software etc...

As your friend gave them remote access and if they make the Internet banking, they should contact their bank to explain and change password.

If they use their online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued for them.

And the only way they will know that they are free of them to back up their data and do a clean install of the operating system.

    Hi Chris,

This problem may occur because of the conflict between certain third-party applications.

We will start the computer Safe Mode to check if the problem occurs in Mode without failure. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe, then you can try to set up your computer in a clean boot state to find what startup item or service is causing the problem.

    Step 1:
To restart in Safe Mode, see the link.

    Startup options (including safe mode)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If the problem does not occur in Mode without failure, then you try to put the computer in a clean boot state.

    Step 2:
To perform Clean boot follow the procedure below.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
