Honestly, this is not the appropriate forum to deal with malware as serious as Alureon and its variants. I would recommend that you post your question in the support section of the malware from the forum on the link below. Alueron is a rootkit malware and should be treated using the interactive help trained. The forum is completely free, although you must register to post. This requirement prevents "spamming" and drive - by display.

You do not specify your version of Windows. This troubleshooting should work with Windows 7

Hi all!
I ran the Scanner Microsoft (MSS) mode Quick Scan and it found nothing.
I then ran MSS in full Scan mode and it found: TrojanSpy: Win32 / Delf
In the results of Scan of MSS window, he says:
"The analysis is completed with success and viruses, spyware and other potentially unwanted software were detected and partially removed".
Given that the results showed the presence of "TrojanSpy: Win32 / Delf" I have four questions, please:
(1) how do I get this Trojan horse on my computer? I am very sure and use a good anti-virus/malware software.
(2) given that the results showed only partially removed SMS "TrojanSpy: Win32 / Delf", that the parts are on my computer?
(3) how dangerous is the part or parts that remain on my computer that SSM has not deleted?
(4) how to remove somewhere has been left more that SSM has not deleted?
Thank you in advance for any help that anyone can give me.
Sincerely,
Traveler4God

Microsoft Safety Scanner crashes when you perform a full crawl

I have the same question. I'm running the scan and it freezes after about three hours, after analyzing more than 650,000 files. It freezes at the same spot everytime I try: IEXPLORER. EXE
Stupidity on this subject, is that I do work only this on the advice of Microsoft safety scanner to try to solve ANOTHER problem;
My Microsoft Security Essentials is unable to run a full scan and it freezes at the same spot every time:
WINDOWS/System32/Com/mtsadmin.tlbHi niallmcardle,
· Have you installed a third-party security software?
I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts and start scanning.
Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting steps, follow step 7 in the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Microsoft Safety Scanner detects Vista Security 2012?
Looking for advice please... My nan recently had Vista Security 2012 on his cell phone, which has been deleted... But its made me paranoid.
I have Microsoft Security Essentials on mine, all of this to this day and I do 3/4 analyses fast and 1 full scan weekly. I downloaded Microsoft Safety Scanner yesterday but wonder if that would detect Vista Security 2012.
Microsoft safety scanner uses the same definitions as Microsoft Security Essentials. You get a lot to run both. If you want a second opinion, use something like the free MalwareBytes anti-malware or SUPERAntiSpyware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
http://www.SUPERAntiSpyware.com/
For the really paranoid, you can run a scan offline without booting Windows. It must defeat malware that hides itself using a rootkit.

Problems with a virus causing the re - run. Ran, the Microsoft Security Scanner Software and it found and removed several problems, but he said only partially removed the above. I am a novice and don't know what to do next, if anything. I hope someone will advise you. Thank you.
You certainly tried many methods.
Other posters will see your question and come up with other ideas on how to solve this problem of yours.
Sorry, my ideas did not work for you.
One last thing:
Try to scan with Malwarebytes, etc in SafeMode with network.
And here's how to go in Safe Mode options; Select safe mode with networking from the list of options:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
Also download and use this before scanning; It is a program of bleepingcomputer.com which stops the Malware work process, giving you a better chance to remove it:
It's called RKill:

See you soon.
PS You found where deselect them; good.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

Had problems with the netbook from Toshiba and ran Microsoft Security Scanner. The scanner finds six threats, removed, Trojan:Win32 / Alureon.DX all but one, who has been partially removed, but requires manual steps, said.
How can I manually remove this Trojan horse on my computer?
Hello
Try this
Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php
You should also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill
If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking
Windows Vista
Using the F8 method:
- Restart your computer.
- When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
- Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
- Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
- To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
- Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Microsoft scanned, but Troy still partially there. Even paid IYOGI $169.99 to get rid of it... still there. How to get rid of him?
I hope you you get money back from iyogi!
Try TDSS Killer: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208283363 this can be run from a flash drive.
Hula_baloo gave you the best advice dealing with especially Alureon... it's a rootkit, it turns on the operating system and is difficult to identify and remove. Reformat and reinstall is probably the best thing to do.
OR
You can read the advice given by Sistagg in this post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/protect_scanning/how-to-remove-trojandosalureone/1791a068-a6ec-43be-aa66-9968f01cfa16
