  I have a Toshiba bought in Australia with Windows 7 Home Premium. I bought a key to upgrade to Ultimate, but when I try to run Windows Anytime Upgrade (be it 'Search' or the control panel) I get a message "Windows Anytime Upgrade isn't in this edition of Windows. I can't find anything on the web that helps: each site assumes that you can run Windows Anytime Upgrade! What is a registry problem?

  I have Service Pack 1 is installed, and Windows 7 is activated.

  Check your Adobe account online.  If you have registered the software version should be shown there.

  Never share your serial number publicly... anyone can use it.
