Microsoft visual c ++ runtime library c:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe

I get this message for WINDOWS 7.  All the forums, I checked are very old, nt, vista.  Help, please.

I updated windows yesterday and it came this morning.  The computer does not work correctly.  I can't imagine that a printer spool is causing all the problems.  startup, Web pages very very slow, some are not used McAfee. When I view the details, he said: "... occurs when a program is not completely compatible with windows." Visual C++ is a windows program.  Run all the scans available until I heard from someone.

HII Justferg,

Try the SFC scan on the computer.

SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.

Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC/scannow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should be usually one of your top not troubleshooting.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • __Program runtime error: C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe

The error message above appears whenever I start the computer. The exact message is as follows

    Runtime error

    Program: C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe

"This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team.

Thank you very much for the help. I did the safe mode start which has not corrected the problem. I pass on the clean boot method. In accordance with your instructions, I eliminated the elements until I found the software that has been the cause of the problem. To my astonishment, that it was of "Pure Networks Inc.", that is, I'm sure you know, my Linksys wireless router from Cisco. ONC program has been eliminated so was the mistake. I will now contact Cisco to try to find a repair/patch for the issue.

    Thanks again for your help!

Thank you, Rick. (nagpie1 and malatel: this thread is only for Ricky63.) Please leave this thread and start your own son.)

I see that you have Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3 level. Ok. :-)
    Go to this page:
Click the custom button. Wait a bit...
If you have in fact all your patches security post-SP3 installed, then you will see this message:
    High priority updates

No priority updates for your computer are available. To select other updates, use the options on the left.

    Can you confirm?
In addition, do NOT choose to install the optional updates that are available! They are rarely necessary, and they often cause problems!
Also, you need to let us know if you have the version the recent Adobe Reader or not. As I mentioned earlier, the current version is 10.1.3. If you run Adobe Reader and select "about...". "in the drop-down Help menu, you can see which version you are using.
    That being said...
There has been a lot of recent reports with people having all kinds of problems with Adobe Reader. My recommendation is to uninstall, and then run the tool to remove here:
Then, install a free PDF reader senior (and less of a problem):
  • Can't access the internet, the error message: runtime error! Windows/system32/spoolsv.exe

I noticed my extra long taking computer to start from a few days ago.  I can't access the internet until the second message appears after the error message.  This message says "spooler subsystem app stopped working and was closed".  I have Norton 360 protection and my OS is Vista Basic.  I did a scan antivirus with no problems detected.  The only time that this message is when I start my computer.  Help!

    Hi DawnKemm

    Method 1:

You can check if the problem occurs in safe mode. In safe mode; you have access to only the drivers and base files.
Check out the link to start the computer in safe mode and then check-
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2:

If you are not faced with the question in safe mode, then you can check in a clean boot state. To perform the clean boot follow step 1 mentioned in the article below, and then try again check in the clean boot state -

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem is resolved check which service non-Microsoft is the source of the problem; referring to article and following the other steps.
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    b. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option and then click OK.

    c. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi patsyyanez,

    ·         You did changes to the computer before the show?

These errors can be caused mainly by two factors:

    ·         The Visual C++ library runtime components are missing.

    ·         Software problem.

You may I install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package and look for the question. First of all, you can see this.

For 32 bit: Download Details: Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x 86)

    For 64-bit: Download Details: Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x 64)

First of all, you can try using system restore if the problem just started happening.

Go to your Start Menu > Accessories > system tools > system restore.

Select a point of dated system restore to before the problem started happening and then restore your system at this point. During the system restore, you can restore the configuration of your system and you will not lose any personal data, the system restore affects only your configuration.

After doing the system restore you don't like something that has changed on your system, you can "undo" the restoration of the system.

If the system restore is not an option for you, or System Restore does not resolve the problem, you can take the measures put forward in the Microsoft Knowledgebase article below:

You can also try diagnostics automated web site Windows Fix It:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/printing_problems

or take the advanced stages described in the following knowledge base article:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!

I am running Windows XP SP3, HP 2.8 GHz, Pentium 4 dual core, 2 GB of memory

I installed the HRBlock2010 tax program and received the following message:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime error!

    Program: c:\Program Files\HRBlock2010\Program\HRBLOCK2010.exe

This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way.

For more information, contact the application support team.

    Signature of the error-

    AppName: hrblock2010.exe AppVEr: 2010.2.0.6402 ModName: msvcr90.dll

    ModVer: 9.0.30729.4148 Offset: 0005bea4

    What I tried:

1 Ran System Restore to before that I installed the program

    2. ran Library Runtime reinstall

3A contacted support HR block that have been blocked and

suggested that I have contacted Microsoft.

4 program installed on another computer - it worked.

so I followed the file msvcr90.dll. Looks very good.

5 uinstalled and reinstalled program 3 times. Always get the error message

This only happens when I try to run this program. I have many others

significant programs and I'm not the freedom to run the system recovery.

I'm looking for a patch will install/correct the library dll for XP, SP3

without having to replace the entire operating system

    Thank you

It's really about HR Block, despite the fact that tech support is countered.  Perhaps could you call back and ask that the question be raised.

What do you mean by you "ran Library Runtime reinstall?  Where did you got the runtime library to reinstall?

I have 9 different instances of msvcr90.dll on my XP Pro system, each installed by a different application.  The interesting thing is that they are not all identical.  Most are version 9.0.21022.8, but I have also 2 instances of version 9.0.30729.1.

Applications using Visual C++ are supposed to include the library runtime with their distributable package. Usually, the runtime library is installed in a subdirectory of the application directory in C:\Program Files.  For example, C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Deluxe 2010\32bit\msvcr90.dll I

However, if another application that you have placed a different version of the msvcr90 in one of the system directories, for example, C:\Windows\system32, it is possible the executable HRBlock tries to use the wrong file.

I do a search on your hard drive to msvcr90.dll and see if there is an instance in one directory other than the one clearly associated with an application.
