Microsoft Windows 7 Professional updates

Last week whenever I try to shut down my computer there are 14 updates that settle. These never get configured when I restart my computer, so everyday that my computer goes through the same process of installing the update even.

Any suggestions

In this case, run the tool in troubleshooting Windows Update from the link below and see if it works:

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

You must purchase a license of full version.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  The first thing I would say is to scan your system for viruses and malware.  If he's found nothing, or after cleaning, the problems are corrected so I suggest trying a system restore.  Here are the instructions for restoring the system: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

If this does not help, then you must run the System File Checker tool.  This article explains the tool and how to make it work: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747

  • Failed to load microsoft Windows 8 KB3000061 update file

I had Microsoft help site trying to solve this problem after paying $120 and 6 hours of scanning, virus check etc, that my computer came A1

The suites of advice, say that this file is corrupted, but I can't get a response from anyone to date HELP

Microsoft says this is a file for 8.1 and HP says that's for 7

The Sydney Bureau said do not worry it is common and don't download for 2 weeks when we can all go!

    Hi Desmond,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum. I really appreciate your efforts to solve the problem.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

You receive an error code when you try to install KB3000061? If Yes, what is the exact and complete error message you get?

This problem can occur because of corrupted Windows update registry files. So, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:
Troubleshooting of Windows update run and check. Please follow these steps:

    a. press Windows + W keys, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press ENTER.

    b. click on 'show all' and then click 'Windows Update'.

    c. click 'Next' and follow the on-screen instructions.

If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
Delete the corrupted registry entries and then try to reinstall KB3000061. Please follow these steps:

    a. press Windows + R keys, type regedit into the run window and press ENTER. The Registry Editor opens.

    b. navigate to the location registry entry to the following address:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT

    c. remove all registry entries in "WINEVT". Right-click on the entry, and then click 'Remove'.

    d. close the registry editor and restart the computer.

Now try to install KB3000061 from this link:
Update security for Windows 8 for x 64 systems (KB3000061)
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=44447

Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756

Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

  • Is this Microsoft Windows XP Professional x 64 edition works on a second generation core i7 processor?

The Asus P8P67 Deluxe Motherboard will be a socket LGA 1155 with Intel P67 chipset with a second generation core i7 I want to run Windows 7 or Windows 8 (I am currently trying the beta version).  The reason for the x 64 Edition is due to the large amount of RAM it will support what someone has an answer?  Thank you.

As long as the hardware manufacturers for any material that you plan to use have support/drivers for Windows XP; Yes.

Insofar as the processor - Yes.

    Motherboard - Yes.

So, as long as your other equipment (whatever they are) is still supported under Windows XP Professional 64-bit Edition, you should be fine.

  • Windows 7 Professional - update error 800b0100 code""WindowsUpdate_dt000"

    Hello

I'm not remotely "Tecchie", so please treat me gently!

The above error that happens on a recently purchased HP notebook Probook - more other updates of Windows from loading successfully. (NB the build is W8.1 demoted to W7 Professional with SP1). I tried Fixit MS btw!

I first put the question HP who referred me then to MS for support. A level support guy (Rodrigo) em ran scan/check remote diagnostics which show the system 100%. However, after recharge etc., the update that always precedes not with the same error message. Apparently, this is a known problem, so I was reluctant to pay any subscription to upgrade support 2/top of range and has been achieved here as alternative source of guidance for help.
