Microsoft wireless mouse 6000 v2 just stopped working

I bought 6000 Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard a year ago and just mouse combo has randomly stopped working.

I turned off my computer and the next day it turned on and the mouse does not work now.

-J' put in new batteries and re-synced it and who did not

-J' tried to connect on the other USB ports, which did not work

-J' reinstalled the driver, who did not work

-J' tried it on my laptop and it doesn't

I think that my warranty has expired as well.

Microsoft please help, there was no sign of him dying off the coast, and I don't see what anyone who would have triggered this.

It just seems odd that one day that shut down you your computer, and the next day your mouse does not work.

  • Shortcut keys programmable Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 V2.0 stopped working.

Hi, I've had this keyboard for about three months now. Programmable shortcut keys have recently stopped working. The magnifying buttons have also stopped working. I did all the stuff offered on the Support Pages of Microsoft, but nothing has solved the problem.

    Problem solved.
  • Wireless on my Y560 just stopped working

My wireless worked fine last night. Woke up this morning, turned on the computer and the Wireless does not work.

Here's what I've done so far:

    * Using fn + F5, I assured the wireless is turned on.

    * When I try to connect wirelessly I get "error 651 modem does not. But the wireless works with the other twocomputers in my house, and when I plug directly into the modem/router (Motorola 3347 of Qwest) with anEthernet cable, the Y560 works very well. So I don't think that the modem is the problem.

    * Tried to "auto detect" driver updated with support from Lenovo, but it was useless. There not autodetect anything.

    * From the Lenovo site, it seems that the drivers for the Y560 wireless are all of March and I got the computer in lateMay, so I should have the latest drivers installed anyway.

Don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, yigit, but I finally broke down and took it to the IT support staff at my University (which uses Lenovo computers). I bought the computer through the University.

The tech IT had fixed it in a jiffy. Somehow the wireless device got off in the start of the start-up phase. I have a fuzzy understanding on these things, but he had to go in the BIOS, set up the stage to activate the wireless designed on. It somehow went down toggeld. Problem solved. I couldn't do it myself. Happy for the COMPUTING staff.

    Thanks for you help out.

  • Slow flashing red in 3500 Series Microsoft wireless mouse

Original title: my mouse is weird

I have a small (3500 version) Microsoft wireless mouse and I just put a new battery in there and all I get is a red light flashing slow... the battery is good... I tested it... any help would be greatly appreciated.  It's probably something really stupid that I'm missing, but I hate that touchpad and I take courses online and rely heavily on the mouse to avoid mistakes... Help!

    Hi Jane,

There are many reasons why we have a flashing red light on a Microsoft wireless mouse. The mouse software may need an update, you're battery may need to be replaced or recharged, you're wireless device can be connected to a port is non-functional, something can interfere with the wireless mouse.

Here are some tips you can follow and see if that helps.

    1. download and install the latest drivers for mouse depending on the type of computer http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/wireless-mobile-mouse-3500#support system

2 a wireless device may interfere with each other. Look at the bottom of your mouse to see if it has a button to synchronize with the receiver. If Yes, press this button. In so doing resync the mouse using a different channel. Turn the receiver upside down or on its side to see if you are able to get a better connection. Remove the other wireless devices, such as a wireless or a cell phone and make sure that the mouse is located at a distance of at least eight inches of a wireless keyboard. Make sure that the mouse is not on a very close to metal objects or metal surface.

3 try using a mouse instead of using it on a glassy or metallic surface.

    4. ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly. Open battery compartment. Check and remove anything that might obstruct the battery connection. Search corrosion as well and remove, if possible.

    I hope this helps.

My wireless mouse just stopped working.  I can still use the mousepad however.  I changed the batteries does not.  Then I tried another mouse wireless, and it didn't work either.  What can I do next?

Buy an inexpensive wired USB mouse for less than $5 and see if it works.  As far as I'm concerned wireless mice are more trouble than they are worth.  YMMV :-)

    Good luck.

  • Microsoft wireless mouse stopped after 6 months of work: happened twice in two days

Windows 7 x 64. I've had the system for 6 months. Yesterday did this problem start happening.
The Microsoft wireless mouse pointer freezes in the middle of the screen (but my wireless keyboard IOGear, that I had also six months, still works fine and the computer itself is not suspended but is still running fine - it's not a blocking system general but isolated on the mouse wireless device and related things).
    I tried the following:
    1. Changing the battery on the mouse (ensuring battery was good, of course).
    2. People with disabilities/re-enabled the HID device.
    3. Deleted then recreated the HID device.
    4. Searched updated drivers (Windows reports mine are up to date)
    5. Remove and reinsert the battery.
    6. Stop and restart.
    7. Remove and reinsert the battery.
Finally yesterday, after reinserting the battery after a reboot, the mouse is back to life. However, today the same problem happened again. I tried it again, but nothing helped. I also downloaded the new Bluetooth drivers on the ASUS site and install them.  Restarted.  No joy.
BTW, Windows always reports the pointing HID device and Microsoft Wireless dongle work correctly, even if the mouse pointer is frozen in the middle of the screen.

  • Microsoft wireless mouse no longer works on Inspiron 8200

Our Microsoft Wireless mouse no longer works on our Inspiron 8200. We have a red light on the mouse so it's on and we just changed the battery in the mouse. The computer no longer recognizes the mouse. Before his stoppage of work completely computer did not come out of standby/hibernation mode correctly. He had to press the power button rather than wake up it with the mouse.

Now that I have attached a wired mouse, he wakes up as it should with the movement of the mouse or a key.

Do you by chance have a solution that I can download?

    Thank you.

  • Microsoft Wireless mouse not working not properly in Excel.

Original title: using the buttons of foam in Excell

    Reference: Microsoft Wireless 5000 foam

I use the foam buttons in Excel to navigate backward/forward "TABs". It is very useful and is in fact the reason to get a 2 buttons and scroll mouse 4-way.

BUT... it does not work with this Wireless foam 5000. He has worked with my old Logitech... that would mean Microsoft foams are not completely compatible with Microsoft Software?...

I downloaded the latest version of IntelliPoint v8.1.239.0 but nothing has changed.
I am running XP with Office 2007.
    Any idea?

It seems that there are some 8.2 updated drivers for the mouse on the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 Technical Support page.  It might be useful to install to see if it solves the problem.

  • Dead zone wheel 3000 Microsoft wireless mouse

    Hello

I don't know how find this problem on the internet so I wonder if anyone can help make me the right words to look for this problem.

I have Windows Vista Ultimate x 64 and a 3000 Microsoft wireless mouse

When I scroll with the wheel, if I go down and upward, there is a dead zone where nothing happens.  I rotate part 2 wheel lines, and on the other to scroll.

For example if I scroll in IE, everything is fine until I have stop and reverse the first line and then nothing happens, no scrolling at all and when I'm in the second row, it starts to scroll the means that if I scroll and down just 1 line nothing happens and that means on both sides , which means only 2 lines of scrolling that does nothing.

I checked all the configurations of driver for the mouse, and there is nothing about it.  I don't want this dead on the mouse wheel zone

I would really appreciate links, ideas on this subject.  I don't know if it's a driver problem, a hardware problem or it's just the way the mouse works.

    Thank you
