Microsoft XP license

Someone can help me. Is it still possible to purchase a license from Microsoft XP?

As in a "product key" for the operating system... XP is still available through craigs list/amazon, etc. Find a seller for xp, the

license/product key should come with it, you need a new package of xp, it should be closed, or never

used only one user per xp cd installation... It's an xp retail, it would be the same as the purchase of microsoft,.

If they still had them.

Now, the instructions on the page in the link I shared suggests that a file in this folder beginning with 'com' and ending with '. helper.plist"is a file of adware, and there will be some 'any word' between the two." Where I am confused is that they say the central part of the file name is 'any word', but they don't give that the file name may use several words separated by periods (.) or if they are all considered a Word. He also doesn't seem to be file names using the same word in/Library/LaunchAgents or in Library/Application Support, as the instructions suggest it.

  • Microsoft Volume Licensing Activation Center Automated Dialer India activation system is broken, how do I activate my Windows again?

My Windows 7 Home Premium desktop motherboard no longer works and I replaced it with a new one.

After that, I see a prompt to activate windows again. I tried to enter the windows product key, but it returns an error 0xC004008 (the activation server determined that the specified product key cannot be used).

Then I tried calling Microsoft India automated Dialer numbers (http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/existing-customers/activation-centers.aspx), he automated system after taking the 54 figure fails installation ID and responds "Sorry there is a technical problem with the system, please try again later.

I also tried to contact the management of MS tech support, they work only Monday-Friday (9-6), this is ridiculous, given that everyone has a call 24 / 7 Center these days. This installation is on my home PC and I can't be available on weekdays, in their working time limited to talk to a tech support Executive.

  • Microsoft Volume Licensing for individuals

I still have 10 computers running Windows 7, which all will need upgrades before the end of the life in 2015.
All will need to update to Microsoft Office as well.
That being said, the cumulative total retail price is quite high.

The only information I can find about the Volume Licensing seems limited to corporations, academic, non-profit and charitable organizations.
Is there a program available to individuals, for the volume of Windows, Office and Home Server licenses, etc...?

No, detail would be the only option for an individual, otherwise, if you need to buy in bulk, Volume license would be the best option.

  • Transfer various associated Microsoft software license to another machine

Hi, I'm an IT professional in my 40s with a very computer-household hybrid, a woman and children. Among those who are two highschoolers with laptops Windows (7 & 8), both with desktop licenses. The desktop versions are slightly different: one is without a subscription, the other is a subscription version. The other day one of them (with Windows 8) is accidentally deleted when turned on, and now the disc (probably) has a scratch or something, because even if the laptop does not start, it will not connect more. He blocked idefinitely after the name of user and password.

So I bought a new laptop and a new drive (Finally, I should just buy a new drive, but that's how the wife wanted to), with windows (8) on this issue, and now I want to transfer licenses. The idea is that the oldest Gets the laptop broken with a new disk, the second child gets the new laptop, and the third laptop (older) will become a game-laptop for me with Linux on it. So he only owes me some isseus license - in fact, I'll be throwing a (license Windows-7). If everything goes as I want, I will stay with two laptops Windows-8, both with office on them. And for me who will not be a matter of concern to Microsoft somehow.

Now, while I can not connect, I can access the file system of the disk broke when I put a live CD of Ubuntu in there. And of course, I have full access to the other two laptops. So my questions are the following:

-Can I use access to the broken disk file system to retrieve the windows and office licenses?
-These licenses are transferable to another disk on another machine?
-Does it matter what version of office that I use on one or the other?

OK, I solved differently now. It turns out that the laptop most recent has been boot UEFI on and the former does not. I now put your old hard drive in the laptop more recent and it starts. But of course, after all the glory of the moment, office always moaned. I had "detected a change in the material" and wants me to re - subscribe in two days lest I lose my license. Big buzz-kill, after all that work.

Anyway, I don't know yet how I'm supposed to reinstate the license, although I don't know that I have the code somewhere.

  • Microsoft Phone Call re: licenses

I received a message from 'Microsoft' my licenses were obsolete and Microsoft was to stop.

There was a phone # to call.

I don't know what they are talking about.

    Is it a scam?

    Thank you

    Hello

    SCAM.

This is general advice that give us on telephone calls from people claiming to be from Microsoft.

Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.

If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.

If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

There is an article in the link I'm you provide at the end of this one

    Read this Information from Microsoft:

  • My system crashed, I reinstalled Windows 7, now Microsoft asks that I purchase a new license

Built my own computer and bought Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  Installed it and everything went well.  I installed a software that eventually crashed my system, I did a clean install of my Windows 7 Pro.  Now MS tells me that I have to buy a new license.  He thinks that my old installation is done on another computer (I've added a new material since - maybe if I get out?).

Of course, I will not buy another license - this is the same computer.

    Did you change the motherboard?

If you have purchased an OEM / System Builder of Windows 7 version, then change the motherboard cancels your product key.

If you have a commercial version try the phone activation even if you has or has not changed the motherboard.

  • Microsoft says not genuine copy because it's MSDN. But my box says it's OEM license. Why this mix?

About 2 years ago, I bought a PC. He has worked for the past 2 years without any problem. Until today... suddenly my authentic copy has become non-genuine... well... chatted with taking in charge and told me my copy was an MSDN copy and should be used by developers only.

But my copy on the box said OEM. It a single CD with the hologram encircling it. back of the CD around the inner circle said in Puerto Rico. And the box says made in Singapore... everything seems authentic...
So what could be the problem? Microsoft's licenses involved?

OK you got your key has changed, but it comes with bad news.

  • Is Windows 8 Pro and Microsoft Office 2010 license Transferrable to new PC (during the withdrawal of the old PC)

    Hello

I had bought Windows 8 Pro as part of the upgrade offer in 2012.

My current desktop PC gives signs of imminent failure. So I intend to mount my own PC and all ignoring the old one.

My question is if I can transfer the current licence to the new office.

What is the procedure for the transfer of the Windows 8 Pro and Microsoft Office license to new PC?

    Thank you and best regards,

    UNNI

Yes, you can transfer the two as long as they are copies of the retail sale and do not come pre-installed on the machine.

To waive the license of the machine, you can just format the machine or uninstall the license of Windows 8.

To proceed to reinstall Windows 8 on the new computer and restart phone.

    Please note:

To install a Windows 8 upgrade version, you must already have Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP installed on your PC.

If you have formatted the drive until the upgrade of Windows 8 version has been installed, you will not be able to use your upgrade product key to activate Windows 8. To activate Windows 8, you will need to install your previous version of Windows, and then reinstall Windows 8. Help with the activation process, contact technical support.

    Hello

When you bought your laptop you have been assigned to evaluate office m over 3 months, it was a trial version. Now, it should be bought if you want to use again. You can use Open Office:

    http://www.OpenOffice.org/

OpenOffice is a suite of open source leader for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers.

Finally and above all the product key on the lower side of your laptop belongs to the pre-installed Windows version and has nothing to do with Toshiba.
