  Hi all

  Currently, I use the windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise SP2 with AD, DNS and DHCP server. I want migration of these services to new fresh Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard machine. I migrate to active directory after this statement: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/22249.migrate-active-directory-from-windows-server-2003-r2-to-windows-server-2012-r2.aspx, he gets with success, but the IP configuration on the source server not migrated to the destination server. So, all of you know that why the source server IP configuration cannot migrate to the destination server?

• How to migrate Windows 2003 R2 to windows server 2012

  I am tired of doing the Migration of Windows 2003 R2 to Windows server 2012, but there are some documents are only available in windows net Tech, I installed the migration on Source and destination server tools and its seat, but I don't know how to transfer roles from 2003 to 2012.

  If a know the steps please please let me know.

• One user away from the dashboard of the range Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials

  We migrated from SBS 2008 for Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials range. All users and computers have successfully migrated and their list is visible in the ADUC.

  However, a user is missing from the Windows Essentials Dashboard (users in the navigation bar, tab users).

  The user can work normally: connecting to Active Directory, it can see shared folders and so on. But it is not in the list above. Because of this, it cannot be administered in the dashboard (for Windows Server Essentials).

  What can be the problem? How can get us in the list? What other information should we supply for you to find the answer?

  Currently 11 GR 2 is not taken in charge/certified on Win 2012 - so you will not be able to perform this migration/upgrade

  We are running CF 9.0.1 Server 2003 and are interested in our sites of migrating to a new server running 64-bit Windows Server 2012 and I tried to find information about compatibility. So far, all I could find is this article of https://forums.adobe.com/discussion/create.jspa#trigger_modal list known issues with ColdFusion on 64-bit operating systems. Can someone point me to documentation that would show more precisely if the CF 9.0.1 is supported server 2012?

  Specifically, I'd be interested to hear from someone who is actually running ColdFusion 9 (or any other version) the 2012 server which could provide suggestions and problems to watch out for.

  ColdFusion 9 no matter what version (SEE 9.0.0/CF9.0.1/CF9.0.2) is not supported on Windows 2012. We started to support the platform Windows 2012 ColdFusion 10 from. Hope this information helps you.

  Would like to know if one got successfully installed Windows server 2012 R2 drivers. I try to install the drivers wireless for two days now and could not get their work. Any help would be really appreciated.

  I don't work for or represent HP.

  All I can advise is that HP offers no support or drivers for all windows server operating systems for any mobile business or consumer they ever made.

  With this track record, I doubt very much they will be.

  In addition, it would be Intel to release Windows Server drivers for their wireless cards, not HP.

  I've never seen a card driver wireless for windows server on the Intel Web site.

  Normally the equivalent standard windows drivers work on Windows server most of the time.

  For example: If you had installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on your laptop, wireless Intel W7 driver probably would work.

  But since there is no equivalent W10 driver for the wireless card model that your laptop is, I have a feeling that is the reason why the wireless card does not work.

  You may laugh with some of the advanced settings for the card under the Advanced tab in Device Manager to see if you can get the card to work.

  Enable WMM for example.

  If you have purchased the license Windows Server 2012, then you have also a serial key.
  You must use this key for activation.

  Victory 8 regarding:
  I guess Win 8 was preinstalled.

  First of all, I tried to install using the GUI (Setup.exe) but ran into an error indicating that the operating system was not compatible.

  I did some research and discovered that these drivers must be installed by using the command line and the command msiexec.exe. I tried to do it by using the following command-line (with administrator privileges): msiexec.exe /i PATHTOMSI

  However, when I do that, it gives me ALWAYS an error of incompatible operating system. Don't know what to do here.

  I ended up soliving this problem myself while tinkering around.

  I went through the process of adding a new printer through the devices window and printers.

  I said my printer was not listend so opted to manually configure a printer. I have created a new local port and he just called the name of the printer. He then invited for drivers. I chose the disc and then navigated to the folder where I had extracted the printer drivers. Selected this file and the drivers installed.

  This example gets the drivers installed in the system. Windows should then automatically recognize/install the printer if it is plugged.

  Mind you, I had to do that only for printing on a desktop connection remote. If you need the real HP software installed to print AND scan, this will not work for this.

  Looking system requirements here on the website of Microsoft, it seems that the T61 meets the system requirements to run Windows Server 2012, but it's largely because Microsoft does not seem to differentiate between the requirements for the Foundation, Essentials, Standard, and Datacenter editions.

  Personally, I would suggest to go with the bigger, more quick 2012-vintage (or most recent) laptop that I could find, for example a W520 or the W530.

  There are approximately 247 updated to do with this Windows Server & as before in the past w / various different OS that I discovered that these must be mounted separately & batch too for these works correctly!

  There must be - a kind of server 2012/r2 cumulative hotfix / service pack that will sort most of these problems of updates w / a download link for getting these!

  But how & in which updates of the batch/grna they do have to do to finish correctly without these issues and so on!

  example"separate updates like this should be done in separate lots and so on!

  (a) Internet Explorer updates

  (b) .NET Framework 4.6

  (c) KB * item updates made in various lots of diferent etc.

  We have two Windows Server 2012 Standard which must be activated with the information of the right at the bottom of the windows desktop as shown in Figure 1.

  Then, I run the command slui and enter the product key to activate as shown in figure 2.

  Unfortunately, I got an error with already shown as Picture 3.

  Note,

  • I called the Activation Center as indicated in picture 4 in Norway to attempt activation by phone, but the CSR told me that they cannot generate the confirmation ID to activate the operating system.
  • The server is not connected and cannot be connected to the internet for internal use only.

  Can I have your help to solve the problem? and I also need to know the impact if it is not enabled.
