Minimizes the offscreen window, unable to size

I can't find my browser unless it is full screen. Maximize takes it to full-screen size and I can't find an edge to smaller drag. Size gives me a slider 4 positions that allow me to draw a rectangle or drop a window. WTH am I missing?

I hope it's just a quickie... Set just a website and I'm about to start over and I wanted to change the size of the page to 760 x 420 as recommended. 1. you can't change these items down the page until you have
the document in DW pane unmaximized. But don't bother because,
    2. change this value has no effect on your page other than to show it in a

If you want your page to be 760px wide, that's how broad, you do

    Hi talhasabir,

The closest you can get use Windows + M key that will minimize all windows. You can use Windows + D (display the desktop). You use this shortcut will allow you to use Windows + D now show the last window before the display of the desktop computer.

  • The browser window will not move back other windows when I click on them.

I minimize the browser window to view anything else. Any solution?

    Hi marytpapa,
Please upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, the latest version is 40.0.3:

And Yes by clicking on the tab will bring the window to the front, not back. In Windows 7, you can import a program at home https://social.technet.microsoft.com/.../moverecover-offscreen-window

  • bug: disappears from the main window

I also have a repetitive bug to report, well in version CVI 2013 and 2012 of the CVI.  Installation program:

    (1) open a project

    (2) open some windows to exit (the search results, exit build, Debug Output, etc., in no specific order)

    (3) version, one of those windows

    (4) now to minimize the main window of the IDE

    (5) now if you Alt + Tab away from and back to LabWindows, the main window will not restore.  The other windows will be on the contrary.

I have a Setup dual monitor on my Windows XP machine.  Not sure if this is part of it.  My office is split between the two monitors.

The problem is that, once you have maximized the window workspace, leaving only the small window visible, CVI remembers it's your preferred window combination: a minor windows visible and minimal workspace. Switch to a different application, and then return to CVI (via Alt + Tab) does not change this combination.

This is different from what happens usually when you shrink the last window of a multi-window application. When you do this, you are effectively minimizing the application itself, and not a single one of its windows. This distinction is not always obvious but, depending on the operating system is concerned, they are indeed different actions. When the application itself is reduced, then it will be restored by simply Alt + Tab in the application. But when an individual window is reduced, this window is not automatically restored. In your case, when minimize you the window workspace, you reduced that window, not the entire application.

When this situation occurs, you will usually need to explicitly restore the individual window in the taskbar. Depending on your operating system, can sometimes be difficult to find. For example, in Windows 7, you must hover over the button on the task bar of the ICB for a second or two, wait for the button of the window reduced to appear above it. Once it does, you can click this button and select "Unminimize"... ».

  • CC of Photoshop minimizing files within the main window

Hi, I moved from Photoshop CS6 (Windows7) to Photoshop (windows 10) CC.  When I reduce the files they go to the taskbar instead of inside the main Photoshop window. I don't know if it's Windows 10 or the new version of Photoshop, cause. Is there a setting to make it to minimize the main window?  I can't use for tabbed browsing and it starts to annoy me. Thanks in advance.

    Hi mimi

Please use window > Arrange > consolidate all tabs in Photoshop to organize all of a sudden.

Try looking at Edit > preferences > Workspace > "Open Documents as tabs" to permanent.

  • Firefox stuck as maximized, "restore down" minimizes the window

Firefox window is stuck as enlarged, the restore down does not work correctly.

"restore down" minimizes the window & it won't then return to the screen unless I right click on it on the task bar & then click maximize.

Button reduce works as it should and the window can be restored (maximize) clicking on Firefox in the taskbar.

When it happened first, I closed Firefox & restarted Windows (Vista). This has not solved the problem

This is caused by Firefox 'restoration' as a small window "off screen" for some reason any. This bug has existed for a while, but for some reason some has never been properly fixed. Restarts without worrying won't fix because it maintains simply restore the window off screen ever time.

The work around is to select the window in the task bar, click on 'move' and then press an arrow key. This will bring the window on the screen where it can be relative to the size, most of the time that he wouldn't do it again, it seems to happen more often for me during a restore, but it is a sporadic, so I'm not sure what makes.

  • Set the size of the browser window?

Can Muse define the size of the browser window when it opens. It's that I want to resize it to a certain size, when it opens the browser window.  I know you can do it using javascript, but it would mean mucking with html/javascript files after publication. I want to know if Muse can do this for me.

No, Muse is unable to do so. If it were, it might be "mucking around with JavaScript. And at a very general level, this is just a terrible idea. It's bad behavior and rude users to mess with their office meticulously arranged windows. Or in other words: it is the design of web sites for 10 years.

As I was to delete the preference files, I tried this and it worked!

  • Close, minimize and resize buttons are inactive on the main window

My email client is the beta version of 41. I just upgraded the sys op to version 10 of Windows version 7.

The close, minimize and resize buttons are inactive on the Thunderbird main window when running on Windows version 10. These buttons are active on other windows such as the address book and new message. Ctrl W keys work on the main as Alt and then exit.

Is there a reason that the buttons are inactive on the main window?

  • My Firefox tabs resize when I minimize the window of the browser

    Hello

I was working on Firefox when I had to reduce the window of the browser. I noticed that earlier, all the tabs in the window would resize automatically to fit the new window size. Now, however, the size of the tabs remains constant, which means that unless the 3 - odd first tabs, all the others disappear inside the browser window.

It must be because of some addon conflicts I guess. However, I can't figure out who it is. Is it possible to make the tabs resize without having to trace what addon caused this problem?

    Thank you

Maybe you previously had the extension Default FullZoom Level. This extension has an adjustment to the setting of the window, although it may not work correctly in some cases.

  • Setting the default size of the popup window

I need a way to set the default size of the popup window on a specific area or all areas (whichever is easier). There is a particular site that pulls up a PDF in a pop-up window, and always default to a small window, but I need full screen. Apart from the obvious 'simply click on the button full screen every time ", can someone offer me some suggestions? If it were me, I'd just hit the button fullscreen, but I'm trying to set it up for some end-users rather capricious. The device in question (if important) is a Tablet from Dell XPS 18, and the version of Firefox is 24.0, just installed about twenty minutes ago. Forums for research, the only thing I found remotely close to what I'm looking for is to force the popup to allow resizing; This isn't what I need; the pop-up window already allows resizing. I need a way to automatically open it full screen. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • To minimize the application (all windows)

    Hello

I have an application that has more windows (W1, W2,..., Wn) where W1 called W2, W2 W3 calls and so forth (when Wn is open Wn-1 is not accessible). I want to minimize all the windows when the user minimizes Wn. How can I do this? I could use references to all previous windows and minimize the using invoke node, but I don't like this method. Is there another way to do this? Maybe on the application level?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I have an application that has more than one front to open at the same time, it creates problems sometimes, for example when you 'alt - tab' through open windows in Windows.

To minimize the façade of my Vi at the same time, there is a button on the main VI, when the user presses it, I use this (attached) VI to minimize all open the FP.

I'm sorry, it is not documented, but fundamentally, it should be placed in the main VI of your app and go in the ref of the main VI, by operating, should I take the ref of the all the screws in memory that have their open minized, façade all the and old their ref in the table which is located in a register to offset then he expected the main VI to be opened by the user and then redisplays all another FP that have been opened.

    Hope this helps
