Mircrosft map virtual wifi miniport Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

I'm trying to use my laptop as a wifi hotspot.  The virtual wifi adapter keeps crashing and will disappear from network adapters.  If I uninstall and reinstall, it will work for a period of time, unless my computer sleeps or is disabled.  The pilot said that he is up to date.  Any suggestions?

  • Error code 43 (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems) on nividia 8800 gt graphics card

I have a computer with dual nvidia geforce 8800 gt graphics card graphics cards, but I recently started getting the following in my device manager error message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

I started getting this message out of the blue after moving from my computer to another room.  I knowingly did not change anything on my PC and have been released for about 2.5 years with no real problems to speak of her.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest driver from nvidia and had no luck.  I don't have access to the nvidia due to the device being disabled control panel.  Also I tried to restore my PC to a previous save point with no luck as well.  A short reading on nvidia forums led me to try a registry scan and repair, but alas it was without result.

Any advice on what could be the cause of the problem and the best solution would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi rd,.

You could try to remove one of the cards, then update the driver.

They should use the same driver and may be coflicting at startup.

You should also check the power supply if it is a few years old.

Also make sure it is off enough electricity for the installation of the split card.

The code 43 error means that Device Manager will stop a hardware device, because the material reported to Windows that is having some sort of problem not specified.

I need some clarification from your end to refine the question.

  • W7 Dell Inspiron N5050, disorder of generic Bluetooth adapter; "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code43).

I'm getting generic Bluetooth adapter, "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43)." It shows at the beginning > Device Manager > portable computer icon, like a yellow! -in the icon of the computer. I have and you use a wireless mouse and I don't know if that is considered to be "Bluetooth" or not. I don't have any other element without wire/Bluetooth that I use. I connect to wireless internet. When I delete the device, after a reboot it comes back with the same problem. Troubleshooting found nothing to help. I did a restore to windows from the hard drive partition, (turns out was unnecessary, problem turned have been bad screen I should have caught before to do reinstall). Month? After that this problem started. I mention this to try to be through details. I would like to remove the adapter - or - change something - or - what ever? to stop it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I went to the start menu > type devmgmt.msc > left click on the result > right-click on Bluetooth radio > click left adapter > click on disable /OK. Restart and the warning went and did not return. It's not all "deleted", BUT if the warning is under control, be it. Out of sight now so happy, happy, it is me. Thank you

Can someone help me understand this error? Why would he stop? What would be my next steps to try to solve it?

    See you soon,.

    Sam

Hi thanks for trying, but the Dell drivers are those which deal with the problem of restart.

I find the most recent driver Intel HD 4000 (Win64_15313_intel) and installed version, then I installed the latest drivers AMD (13-4_mobility_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_AMD) on the site of AMD. This solved my problems and my graphics card works fine now.

So yes, just repeat those it tells me to install when I get my serial number and OS (Windows 7) were:

    Intel: 5423_Video_Driver_T6XGJ_WN_8.15.10.2669_A02

    AMD: 5423_Video_Driver_VGR24_WN_8.951.9.0_A02

And these caused problems without end - the graphics card would not work, and then when I installed drivers from AMD, Dell, it would cause my system to reboot every 2 or 3 minutes. It looked like some kind of incompatibility between the two graphics cards and the drivers provided.

The other representative of Dell told me the same thing that you - so I wanted to post my solution in case anyone else has this problem.

  • Unknown device: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43).

I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Recently an unknown device keeps popping up in the device manager every time that I start to win. It is reported the location is in the front USB hub, but I haven't changed it anything lately. The device status says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)". I can uninstall or disable it but it will get picked up again the next time that I reboot. All other usb devices (mouse, keyboard, webcam, UPS APC, external hard drive, printer) work very well. How can I get rid of this nuisance so that it is not reappear?

If the problem coincided with connecting the inverter APC that may indicate the problem is with the inverter.

Somewhat similar situation discussed in the following link:

    http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t527369-APC-ups-USB-as-unknown-device.html

Your situation sounds similar as "Information system" leading the 'problem of the device' has an error Code "this device is working properly" but still "unknown device".

I would say to detach from the APC UPS of the computer and uninstall any software related.

Restart the computer and see if the "Unknown device" problem resolves.
