Misleading error about Java plugin

I use Firefox on Windows 7 64 bit 15.0.1
I have Java plugin version SE7 U7, I reinstalled and confirmed is underway. However, when the plugin Java (Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U7 10.7.2.11) is disabled, then I get the message when checking my plugins, "for your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated Java version. Please install the latest version. When I re - activate this plugin, the error message is not present. Thus, it is misleading because the correct version is installed but disabled.

Oh, I get it now.

Plugincheck page acknowledges that Java is missing and that it "assumes" that Java is missing because Firefox disabled. It is a bad supported by plugincheck page, but this page is not to know that you have the version currently installed, so is just doing his best (wrong) guess of special privileges. Unfortunately, I don't think that there is no solution for this.

    Hello
I encountered some problems with the java plugin (SE 7.0.90.5 10.9.2.5) and mozilla plugin check site. I always check that if my plugins are up-to-date, so today I did this audit controls and plugin told me, that the java plugin was "outdated". But, it turns out, there is no new version of the java plugin. OK, maybe glitch or something like that, so I reintall plugin-plugin check shows always the same message - "obsolete". I introduced in safe mode in Firefox, tried to delete the file pluginreg.dat profile directory, even reinstalled Firefox itself. Nothing helps.

  • Java plugin does not load on Firefox

I'm working on a machine without administrator rights. Firefox fails to load Java plugin even thought it is installed. Summer search internet and found this and this.
I checked the users on this machine really has only read access to HKLM\Software\mozilla.org. Is this the problem why does not load plugin? He said that this should be fixed in new versions of Java and FF.

    I use Firefox 11.0, Java 6 Update 13, Windows 7 Enterprise.

OK, I read about this problem on the mozillazine kb now...

You can try the following: go to start run & open %appdata%\Mozilla\, create a folder named plugins (where it does not exist). then you need to go to the directory of the java program and the subfolder bin (probably C:\Program Files\Java\j2re < version > \bin\) and copy all the .dll files that begin with np*.dll and paste them into the plugins folder you created before. This must be repeated for each user on the machine.

in the case where firefox then detects the plugin, I would recommend you keep the disabled plugin and activated only upon request (or use an extension like noscript to create a white list of trusted sites that can use the plugin). I have seen many infections than to exploit vulnerabilities in older versions of java, also on accounts with limited user rights...

  • Question about Java and other concerns

It was in the original thread Java, decided that it should be easier in the separate thread.

A simple uninstall will get rid of Java, or leftovers to stick around. After picking up the Live safety scanner fake Trojan or whatever it is, I did some scans online in addition to MMFA, who got rid of him in a quick scan and SAS, and Windows Defender. You don't know if AntiVir would be cleaned, but MBAM it in the short term. Thought I was clicking on a secure link, but I learned enough here to start in Safe Mode, run MBAM, and WD of Tower and Windows Security Center and return to normal. Somewhere along the line, I received a few Java mentioned error messages. Think that I tried to download ot and run an online scan, but can't remember for sure.

Moreover, somewhere I took advice of Prime Minister, which seems to be a malicious ad-ware and pest stealing information data. I deleted the program. It does not appear on all analysis, but there is an entry in WinPatrol in Services, where it shows up as being disabled. He also appears in the Services in Task Manager, where it shows stopped. Don't know what I can do to get rid of it completely or if it anything wrong at this point, if it is disabled.

    Dale,

even if java uninstaller leaves behind some errant registry entries, I don't know that it's worth trying to go after them.   [For example, I found a Web page since java itself which talks about how to change the registry in case"Java icon is still visible in the Panel hasthat almost have Java is uninstalled".   [I have purposely not cited this link here, because I don't recommend editing the registry and don't want to be responsible for all the problems if they try to do.]

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I've learned enough here to start in Safe Mode, run MBAM, and...". »

Note that MBAM is designed to run in NORMAL mode, in order to be able to find and conquer the malware that is resident / operation of the system RAM.   (By starting in safe mode, this malicious program does not work often and if MBAM won't find it in memory).   In fact, the only time where we should try to launch WHAT MBAM in safe mode is when he is unable to run in normal mode.   And now, with MBAM Chameleon, it is even less likely that MBAM will be prevented from running normally.

In this sense, MBAM takes a very different from other security programs philosophy, that often MAKE application users run in safe mode.

And as you have seen, MBAM focuses on 'rogue' malware that other products do not detect or do not remove properly.   For a person to "do-it-yourself", it should be the first scanner that you run when it encounters a thief.   [Of course, to "do it yourself", you can only exacerbate existing problems... so you must proceed with caution.]

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Somewhere along the line, I received a few Java mentioned error messages.

Was it a message 'error', that Java was "defective"?   Or was it just a notice that you visited a java requiring site, which he could not find (active) on your system?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding the Premier's Opinion, I would be concerned that "it also appears in the Services in Manager tasks, where it shows stopped.   [I am less concerned with what appears as 'disabled' in respect of the services of WinPatrol, as sometimes, after deleting a program or a service, it may still appear as a service disabled in WinPatrol.   But in this case, WinPatrol should indicate that the (local) file is not found.]

But as I am not familiar with this particular program, you can either wait Bugbatter you answer here, to see what she suggests... or if you're in a hurry, you can follow the instructions at http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/index.php?showtopic=79038 to sign up and post the logs requested to SpywareInfoForum.com; There are experts here AIDS that can 'walk you through' procedures to analyze your system and clean the infection.   Any help provided that it is FREE.   If you decide to go to help them, please wait for a response, and do NOT attempt to perform any other scans to remove yourself – do exactly as they ask you to do, no more, no less.

  • CAP: Unrecoverable internal error: means: Java heap space

Hi guys, I get this error when I try to launch my application with Eclipse:

Unrecoverable internal error: means: Java heap space

It is at the stage of the rapc.exe of the compilation where this happens. I tried to remove eclipse and starting with a new facility, but in vain. Running my application worked once or twice, but then I tried to add a newer version of the BlackBerry JDE components, and that's where this problem started to occur.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can resolve this issue? Currently using the Eclipse of BlackBerry plugin components version 4.6.0.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Tom

This must have been a configuration option. I backed up my Java files, deleted the project and then created a new project, and everything worked well. I have no idea what caused the problem in the first place, but I would recommend this as a solution, if someone else goes in.

The plague to have several Oracle products installed on a single computer is bring all use the same copy of the TNSNAMES. ORA.  I like to create a folder in the Oracle home (C:\Oracle) home of my tnsnames.ora and I call it TNS_ADMIN.  Then, add a TNS_ADMIN "String value" entry to your Oracle Home registry entry and set the value of "C:\Oracle\TNS_ADMIN" so the Forms Builder will find your tnsnames file.  Then, you need to change the default.env and update the parameter TNS_ADMIN to point to the directory where you have your TNSNAMES.ora location.  The default.env is located in the ORACLE_HOME\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\config\fmwconfig\servers\AdminServer\applications\formsapp_11.1.2\config directory.

If you use Oracle Reports, then you will need to edit the reports.bat file - there is a setting TNS_ADMIN there as well.  The reports.bat will be located in your ORACLE_HOME\Middlware\asinst_1\config\reports\bin directory.  This path assumes that you used the name of 'Instance' by default when you configured WLS and FMw.

    UM,.

This must be due to an incompatibility between the definitions of plugin in the server (and/or of the database) and the agent.

First of all, always check the server log, errors that appear it should lead to the cause.

The plugin xml initialized ok on the server, or any error appear?

You go to Administration-> default trace and see your plugin (Server Type: MyAutoDiscoverServer) and everything is there?
If this isn't the case, errors occurred when starting the server, check the log.

Did you start to shave - created the plugin, added to both server and agent, autodiscovery, the platform/server added in Hyperic - or you already had the server/platform added in Hyperic and who has made some changes in the xml plugin that may be in conflict with what is already in the Hyperic database?

Generally the pitfalls that come from these errors.

    Been there, done that.

  • Developer Edition does not have the Java Plugin

    My configuration:
    OS - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
    Browser - Firefox Developer Edition
    Java - SE Runtime Environment build 1.8.0_51 - b16

    Installation path:
    Browser - C:\Program Files\Firefox Developer Edition
    Java - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_51

    Description of the problem:
My operating system, browser, and Java version are all of the nature of 64-bit and properly installed, however, Firefox does not have a Java plugin in the Add-ons Manager and I can't run Java on all Web sites. When I check Java on their website, it tells me that Java is disabled or not installed, but Java is enabled in the Java Control Panel.

Hi mrflom, that's to be expected - the 64-bit versions are delivered with support plugin limited for the moment (single flash is in the whitelist). If you rely on the other npapi plugins please continue to regularly use 32-bit builds.

  • Failed to install Java plugin after a clean install of Java7 or java8

    Hello
recently, I saw my plugin Java was vulnerable and outdated so I uninstalled the old completely and downloaded the latest 8u45 of Java.
Now, after the installation, I don't see any mention to the new Java plugin on the plugins screen in Firefox. In java Control Panel the ability to "enable Java content on my browser" was already checked, but still Java not enabled on my browser anything.
I even tried to install the package SDK or earlier version like Java 7u80 the two gave the same result.

Here's my proposal: you have installed the 64-bit Java, but not 32-bit. Since Firefox is a 32-bit application, to get the dll works with all applications, you also need to install JRE 32 bit. See:

  • I don't know what to do about Java - my Mac is horribly slow, and I was advised to remove Java. But now it will not open Photoshop without Java.

I don't know what to do about Java - my Mac is horribly slow, and I was advised to remove Java, it installs adware. The more I studied, the more information, I've seen say that most of the Web sites and software do not use Java on Mac more. So I deleted everything related with Java. But now it will not open Photoshop without Java. It will be safe if I get it directly from the Oracle site?

You can download the installer for OS X directly from Oracle. Be sure to uncheck everything installs 'optional' which can appear at the beginning (I think on Windows it wants to install McAfee trial or the toolbar Bing - not really malware, more as desired and useless crud-ware).  I have a course Java JRE install on my MacBook Pro retina like some internal tools we have developed to work are currently java and I use a tool of u. Toronto called CytoScape is Java.  Sites Web will use Java Script, a very different beast and does not require a full Java or JRE install.  But with Java/JRE installed, just be sure of the source of any software that you download and install that is java based (as you should with all the software that you put on your machine).

In addition, for PhotoShop, it says that you need the legacy Java 6 for OS X?  If so, then don't waste your time on the current version, just install that release 6 legacy.
