Hello

I have a problem with my "BOLD" is not showing me my missed calls. I see the call missed out on the top icon, but when I look at the phone ad I don't see no number.

I tried to change the parameters of logging of the call but nothing helped.

This problem started pover the past 4 days... it worked fine before...

any help with this wud help! Please

Maybe resembles the call log database my be corrupt. You can try to clear the database to see if that fixes the problem. To do that you can open the Desktop Manager and go to the backup and restore icon. Then, click on the Advanced button. On the right side, find the log of the calls or phone call log database. You can tap the Clear button. In doing so, you delete all entries in your call log.

Then try to see if you are still having the same problem. If so you will need to back up data from your phone and wipe the unit

  • List of missed calls from blackBerry Smartphones, nobody knows where it is?

    Hello

When I press the green button on the phone, he gives me a complete list of the phone call, but it does not say who is not respected, receipts, etc.?

    How can I know it?

I looked in the options and can not find a record of appeal here either.

Once you press the green button, press the menu key and choose Options. Then, go to the General Options. You can change the display of the phone to the call log list. Missed calls will have a yellow/orange icon with a red x next to it, outgoing calls will have a phone icon green with an arrow pointing to the Northeast, incoming calls will be a phone icon blue with an arrow pointing to the Southeast.

Also, in your message list, you can hit the ALT + P key combination to take to your call log. If you want to view your call log Messages view, click the green button, press the menu key and choose Options. Then go in Call Logging and change the setting to all calls.

  • Missed call log blackBerry smartphones?

I must be missing something...  When I see my "missed calls" and click on the screen, I see a real basic/text list for a missed call.  But no immediate button to call the person back?  Am I missing something?   I must be...

On my last Samsung, it would show "missed call" and all I had to do was then press 'call' and it was call this person.  Hmmm...

If you open this message missed calls and call the person back, just click the numbering button green while on this screen.

  • Missing messages from blackBerry Smartphones

I've been texting back last night and when I went to look at messages this morning, none of the messages are on my phone.  It shows here and there a few emails but none of my text messages.  I know that I don't remove any of them, so what could happen to them?  This happened to someone else?

It is a common problem with this phone.  On the forums I've read, the main question is related to memory.  On the phone memory is limited.  The more programs you have installed (especially if being run), then the most often, you will have this problem.

A few things that I found to help (other forums) with this problem on my phone:

    1. Go into "Options: Status" it will show you "Free File" and "File Total" If you have less 12 000 000 bytes of free space, and then your phone isn't really enough memory to function optimally.  This means that you have too many programs, or too much memory is used on your device.
    2. Go to: "Internet browser: press blackberry: options: cache operations ' then 'Clear history' and cache then erase content, clear pushed content, disable the cookie cache.  This will free up a lot of space.
    3. Go to "Options::Advanced Options::Applications" and delete the apps that you don't use. for example I do not brickbreaker or Notes or Sprintstore, etc.  In addition, delete the various language modules that you do not use.
    4. Go to: "camera: Hit Blackberry button: access options: click on the images to store"-change this in "On Media Card" so that the photos are saved on your memory card (providing you have a).  This will free up memory resources on your device.
    5. Come on in "Media::Hit Blackberry button::scroll up to options: devide all limit memory 12 MB: value reserved pictures memory 0 MB" this will ensure that your device does not use memory by recording media on the device itself, rather it will store it on the map.
    6. Remove all old text messages that you don't want.  However, if there are messages you want, SAVE THEM! (must be done individually)  To remove all previous messages you can scroll to the date and the hit blackerry button, then 'delete forward' - it will delete all messages in this folder before that date (do the same for sent messages).
    7. Finally, do a hard reset from time to time. (once a week)  This means removing the battery for 10 seconds and put it back in and wait for only 3 minutes it takes to begin the terrible backup of.
    8. Repeat step 1 and see how much you free memory!

    General "maintenance of memory."

    1. Do a hard reset often, especially if you think you have been browsing many Web sites or send/receive a lot of texts.
    2. Clear your internet cache often.
    3. Delete text messages you do not want to register, often.
    4. Instead of hitting the button 'back' (the button next to the red end call button) to leave applications... click on the blackberry button (button next to the talk button) and scroll down to "close" or "exit".  This will STOP the application, freeing the memory.  If you only use the arrow to the left, these programs will continue to run in the background, so using your memory.

Finally, make sure your BlackBerry software is on the most up-to-date OS (operating system) as possible.  Connect it to your blackberry desktop and see if there are updates...

  • Missed calls SMS blackBerry smartphones

Apparently, whenever you miss a call, the phone generates a message "SMS" to let you know.  Is there anyway to turn off this feature?  It is quite annoying to have to go flag/remove in order for the mail message indicator to go...

    Answer below:

From the home screen, go to the phone application (press the Green key). Then press the BB (the button to the right of the green phone button) and select Options. Then select Call Logging... in there, this is where you control what that name (if applicable) get connected in the message list.

  • Contacts from blackBerry Smartphones appears

My client has a blackberry 9810 and for some reason some may see his contacts in his favorites or recent but cannot see them when you look at all THE contacts.

Need to change this as soon as possible

With regard to the Favorites, recent and all, are you referring to the different screens and cannot find the app on the screen of all? If Yes, then it is probably the contacts app icon is hidden, in a folder, or a folder and hidden. The value show all to show the hidden icons and then look on hand than the entire screen and in all folders.

  • Names of Contacts from blackBerry Smartphones appears

    Hi all

I've just updated my device, but my contacts names stopped indicating when they call me as they did. I save all my contacts with the International prefix numbers, but my provider shows only the local number, my device used to combine the 2 and 2 (or any that he used to set up the numbers) and to recognize the caller, it seems that is no more unless I have remove the prefix.

Is there a solution to this? If this isn't how I can cancel this update and return to my old system?

    See you soon

It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  • Missing icons from blackBerry Smartphones to bbm screen

I replaced a torch, 9800, with a replacement unit. Everything seems to work except the icons at the bottom of the bbm screen. They are normally 'send', see the contact info"etc. However, I just show a single star in the bottom middle where the icons should be. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you. John

Remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it a few seconds later.

    That should do it!

  • The missed calls from deleted blackBerry Smartphones the next day

    Hello

With my Blackberry Curve if I miss a call he's going in the call log; However, the next day, all the missed calls from the previous day are deleted.  I checked and it is not a memory problem.  Is it possible to record missed calls, so that they are not automatically removed?

    Thank you!

No, your call log will always show the last 20 calls.

The shortcut would be to open the list of Messages, press ALT + P.

  • Message from blackBerry Smartphones: MTP Device Mode is enabled on

I just did a hard reset (remove battery) on my Storm2 9550.  When it finished start, I started the Desktop software and connected the phone via the USB port.  I received the following message:

This Blackberry device using a connection of the PSG.  Some features of media for your device mass storage mode, which interrupts all active media transfer protocol (MTP) connections.  You want to mass storage mode?

I don't know exactly what that means or if I should answer 'Yes' or 'no '.  (I had a bit of luck you are looking for this particular online message).

The BlackBerry Storm smartphone can connect to a computer in one of the following ways:

    • USB mass storage mode
    • Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)

MTP allows a BlackBerry smartphone user transfer media files between a computer and a BlackBerry smartphone and provides support for multimedia files that have specific requirements, such as restrictions associated with the management of digital rights (DRM) technologies.

A BlackBerry smartphone appears as a Portable device in my computer when connected to the computer using the PSG. It does not appear in the devices with removable storage section and has not assigned a drive letter.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

I do not recommend you publish here on the internet for personal information for everyone to see. I would change this last line, if I were you

Why are you receiver Missed Call notifications in your eyes... on your PC? huh?

You are on a corporate BES account? If so, I guess that's because your Messages are reconciled by BES in your PC Outlook?

If all this is really the case, that don't... Your GREEN phone dialing press > press Menu > Options > Call Logging = NONE.

Now, no calls missed in your Messages and none in your Outlook. Perhaps.

  • Call blackBerry Smartphones appears on the mye-mail

I accidentally hid my call log and when I finally had returned it (and don't ask me how) I shows that the calls that I make no calls or missed calls, they appear in my e-mail address... I tried everything I found in the book to do and nothing has fixed this.  I never know if I missed a call, unless I check my e-mail.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Press the green phone dialing to enter in your call log > Menu key > Options > Call Logging and set your option here that you want to see in your message list.

If you don't want calls in your Messages folder, disable "Missed calls"

  • BlackBerry Smartphones missed calls icon BlackBerry 8800

Hi everyone, I hope that someone else has had this problem before.

I 880 BlackBerry handset which has 6 missed calls, showing on the top of the home screen, but I deleted all phone logs and missed calls as described elsewhere in these forums.

Anyone know how to clear this? It's incredibly frustrating!

    Thank you

    Carl

    Hello

Wipe the call log database fomr the handset using Desktop Manager

    Backup/restore - advanced - Phone Call Logs - clear.

If the phone call log is gray, plugged in the Dungeon of the HH and go to Options (key) - Advanced - service book and delete the desktop computer [book of synchronization service}.

Now wil Options can be highlighted and you can disable the selected database option.

  • The calls missed on 8330 blackBerry Smartphones

I have a 8330.  I've set up an icon for e-mail messages and an icon for SMS/MMS by separating them.  Voicemails and missed calls go to the SMS/MMS icon.  Is it just the way it is or I can have an icon for my only missed calls?  Is all calls, may they be displayed in an icon, or what I have to press the green button to see?  I know that I can all have them in my messages icon.

Really, I wonder if I can get an icon just for the call log or missed calls.

    Thank you in advance,

    Scott

We cannot dissociate the call logs in a separate icon. What you can do is control what appears in your list of messages:

    • All calls
    • Only the missed calls

Press the menu key and go to 'options' in your call log (pressing the green button first). Go to "Call logging" to set your preference.

    See you soon,.
