Missing a plugin but when try to pick him up, he won't find it.

I'm trying to run a discussion forum. Whenever I load the page, it says "a plugin is needed to display the content" when I click on that, he said to "Java Runtime Environment" when I click Next it is executed, it is said is not available and try the manual installation. When I try this, nothing works. I tried searching this plugin will not work. I was able to get on this chat site for months until I had java update about 3 weeks ago. What can I do to fix this?

Your java plugin (TM) Platform SE 7 is not displayed in your system more details. You can check if it has become disabled (set to 'never activate')?

Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Then scroll down to see if Java is there and if you find, try to replace "Always enable" or "prompt to activate."
