Missing Control Panel Uninstall

When I go into my control panel, links to "uninstall / change / repair" suddenly disappeared. Even when I click on an app, there are no options display to uninstall. I also tried make a right-click on the application without result. Nobody knows what has happened here and how can I get that back? It never happened to me before, I've always seen the option Uninstall on the top menu bar.  Thank you in advance. Leslie

I have been using a registered version of Lightroom 5.4. I tried to uninstall it but the button control panel uninstall produced the answer that the Setup log file is missing and it wouldn't uninstall. I tried to delete all the files in and then put it back, hoping that he might happen to remove or repair. I have now two versions of 5.4 64-bit showing in Panel, neither of which I can uninstall. Help please.

The uninstaller entry in Control Panel is created by an entry in the register. Remove the registry key will remove the list. This is normally done by the uninstallation process, but because quite simply, you have deleted the files, he left the info record behind. Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

    You try this first method:

    (1) open the Windows Task Manager (right click on the taskbar-> click Start the Task Manager).

    2) click on show processes from all users. Then go to the process tab-> search "msiexec.exe".

    (3) if it is recognized, click on finish the process-> and yet, click on end process.

    (4) now, start the uninstall program.

If the above method fails, try this:

Right-click, and then click Save as:

    http://download.McAfee.com/Products/Licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

Then, run the file. It will clean all facilities of McAfee in a PC.

  • Not appearing is not in the installed programs Panel > uninstall program list

I noticed a few weeks ago that most of my installed programs, especially those that I installed myself (but not all), do not arise in my part of the control panel uninstall.  They are all on my computer, and I can use them all.  I also noticed that most programs that do NOT are in the Program Files (x 86) folder on the C drive.  Programs presenting themselves seem to be ones that came installed on the computer when I bought it (this is not the case for each of them) and are in the regular Program Files folder on the C drive.  Any idea what the problem may be and how to fix it?

Here's what's coming (view, there is not date/time in the column "last used on '.)  These used is displayed).

    Hi GraceBowers,

The programs that you are not able to see under uninstall programs list?

    Method 1
You will not be able to see all the programs installed under Uninstall list of programs such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media player etc. If you want to see the location of the program, try the steps.
    a. right click on the program.
    b. click Properties.
    c. check the location of the program where it was installed.

    Method 2
I suggest you try the manual steps at the following link.
