  I've found a workaround.

  My computer crashed in what appeared to be a virus.  I did a system restore, but now I always have missing files.  I can find them if I search but I can't navigate to them.  Any ideas?

  To check the version... Please open Premiere Elements in his chronology workspace. Go to Menu Help / about Premiere Elements. The top of the screen that opens should include a version 9.0.1 if you have downloaded and installed version 9.0.1 and work from it.

  1. back to the computer 1, open your project and determine that it opens with the media source associated with the project.

  2 create a folder "copied" using File Menu/project Archiver and its choice of copy a project.

  4. Ouvrezledossier "copied" on computer 2, find the project file (PREL), right click, select open with, and then Adobe Premiere elements 9.0.

  I have a user who uninstalled Acrobat 8 Professional and when they restarted and stored in their profile all the icons and files have disappeared. I tried to do a system restore to the point before the uninstall and still no luck. Everything that is related to the profile is always functional (i.e. printers network, Outlook settings, network drives.)  It's like just wiped profile or delete Desktop folder.

  I do turn Pr 2015.4 Pro on a Windows 10 PC and continue to have a problem trying to make. I can make my calendar and fine individual files but after rendering is compleat all my clips are labeled "missing media. I deleted all my files rendering and a new made it several times and the same problem still occurs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I've updated for first Pro CC 2015.3 today, but now all my .prproj files have a file association for Premiere Pro (I'm running Windows 7). I tried to change it manually through properties-> opens with:, but Premiere Pro (like after effects, InDesign, Lightroom, Audition, etc., I've also updated to the latest versions this afternoon) no longer appear in recommended programs or other programs. I tried to add manually via browse-> C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2015.3 CC-> going to choose Adobe first Pro.exe, but it does nothing. I even tried doing it through default programs, but it does nothing here as well.

  Is there a solution to this? It worked normally before I updated.

  I did further research and came across a similar issue with older versions of first...

  In the former case, a freeware program called FileTypesMan - Alternative to 'File Types' Manager of Windows has been mentioned.

  Just tried and it put the base registry in my computer then now the association is done correctly, and first is also added to the recommended list. (I know that there is a danger in changing the registry database, but I took the risk - if someone else be very vigilant and do it at your own risk)

  FileTypesMan actually solve the problem. However, I hope that this problem can be solved internally by Adobe in the next update, because it is very distracting.

  Whenever I try to double-click a .jpg file in Dreamweaver (which normally would open in PS) I get the message "unable to launch 2015\Photoshop.exe C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC.   I moved files from one drive to another in Lightroom. During the move, Lightroom kept displays error messages 'missing photos', 'Photo can not be moved to destination ". After moving, some photos were gone. I got resynchronization folder but some pictures seem to have disappeared forever - they are not on the hard drive. I do not remember deleting them, but earlier that day, I exported the to jpg... I have a backup of the images, but when I tried to import with "do not import duplicates" checked, Lightroom has identified a few photos as duplicates - those that appeared after the re-synchronization of the folder.   I've updated recently for first pro CC 2014 and I'm working on a project that is already overdue.

  Then I deleted the files preference and the project could be reopened.

  I tried to make the connection again, but it didn t work.

  I tried to drag and drop files MP4, it didn t worked too. (media file is)

  I renamed the folder ADOBE \user\appdata\local and roaming twice.

  I tried to start with ALT SHIFT to remove preferences againa - didn t worked too.

  I tried to reinstall Quicktime.

  I tried to reinstall the K-Lite codec pack.

  I REALLY need your help before the formatting and all from scratch.

  So if you came here looking for an answer, this is what worked for me:

  (be told me voce quer uma resposta em Português)

  -Exit all software adobe (including clouds)

  -Remove the preference (adobe) folder in my documents.

  -Rename the folder Adobe \userfolder\appdata\roaming and \userfolder\appdata\local to old.adobe

  -Uninstall a codec package that you may have installed

  -Uninstall first via Add/Remove programs

  -Find *.xmp files and remove all the

  -Rendered remove files from your project folder too.

  -Restart the computer

  -Use a registry utility to clean your computer of the tracks (I use Glary Utilities)

  -Install the first Pro CC

  -Restart the computer

  -Install Quicktime 7

  -Restart the computer

  -Everything should be good now.

• Flash Player missing files after installation

  I followed the instructions posted here by eldnolb in response to Re: still of the problems.  Here's my situation. I have installed and uninstalled the player at least 8 times today.  After each installation, I think IE7 has ver10 plugin and work well, but the flash player is missing from the Program Files folder. Also when I use the control panel for adding and removing the flash player 10 software is listed, but the size of the file is missing, because the player folder and its files are missing have been created during installation.

  Now my current status is I uninstalled the drive by using the uninstall program on my office. The player recommended by eldnolb Setup fails and returns the error message that it is not the latest version (given that I had previously installed the version on the adobe download site). What should I do now? Should I download the latest version on Adobe and run it from the desktop? I use windows xp home version.

  It's normal.  Flash Player is not an executable as a stand-alone player, but a web Player / browser plugin, which consists only of a DLL or OCX file, respectively.
