  We have a server farm implemented here with 6 Terminal servers and printers loaded locally on each server. The tab settings in the printer preferences when printing c7260 on two of our servers or our C5240 is missing. On the other 4 servers, it is fine. Exactly the same drivers loading on all servers and in fact all of them were created as of the VMS in a windows image. I've checked everything I can think but can figure out what's different

• Missing BIOS settings Satellite C660

  Hey everybody,

  I use my Satellite C660 Notebook for some productions of music and I try to get my extern Interface Audio Presonus working. Everything is fine so far except some occasional crackling sounds in the audio interface. After correction of some things in Windows 7 which have been recommended by tech support PreSonus these noises were still there.
  Tech support then gave me the following advice:

  + "There is some power options that can be changed in your BIOS that can be the cause of the noise you are experiencing. +

  + CPU settings section - Intel SpeedStep is set to normal. +
  + CPU - Turbo in normal not turbo mode settings section. +
  + Settings section CPU (if any) - CPU operation Mode will be 3 settings, Normal, fast, Extreme (?). Set it to 'Normal ' +.

  + Power Settings:-C1E Support +.
  + Power Settings:-C3E Support (if it is there).

  + Save the BIOS and reboot. +

  + Generally overclocking the processor as the iSeries can cause the CPU power to fluctuate causing problems with noise on audio devices, is a new discovery and we write a FAQ which will be available on our knowledge base may have a detailed description on the reasons why this happens on overclocking CPU. +

  "+ Make sure that the overclocking settings have been set to normal. +

  If the parameters are not available in the BIOS, you will not be able to change or appear in the BIOS.

  Phoenix BIOS would be used by different manufacturers, but the BIOS is always modified by manufacturer and configured for each series of laptop.
  This is why the special parameters are not always available in every BIOS.

  I read in the forum of presonus on crackling using processors dual core.
  A guy could solve this by using a different USB port.

  Then maybe you should test all available USB ports.

  Another option might be the use external USB hub connected outside power source now quite sure if it would help to get rid of these noises but its worth a test.

  Last but not least you could test this with adapter connected and disconnected

  Tried to set up two monitors to operate independently on my HP PC under XP SP3. Do the normal thing - will display/settings/Advanced tab and selecting monitor gives me no indenties or options to select/set another monitor. I use two VGA ports for two monitors, but only will draw upward. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Have a GeForce GT 430 PCI express card 2.0 chart.

  As the GeForce 430 has only a single VGA port, you must also use the VGA port on another device (the motherboard?).

  Make sure that your BIOS is not set to disable VGA port of the motherboard when it detects another adapter to display.

  Also, there is a map of multi-monitor.  You can get an adapter DVI / VGA and try plugging your second VGA screen it if you can't stop the BIOS to ignore the motherboard display adapter.  (Or just because it's an adapter better.)

  The first two steps in debugging: 1) is it connected?  (2) is it turned on?

  No problems here 06 firmware and WINXP SP2 running mode. I use the PSG support MP3 and all read operations. I force MSC to load STROKE converted MP4 video.

  Now I miss the settings icon where I chose this drive to boot from.

  All I get is El Capitan. No windows available.

  I know that I can hold down the Alt key at startup and choose the drive, but I want to have the choice in settings.

  I accidentally deleted my documents and settings folder in popular 7 How do I restore or take another?

  1. check that the Documents & settings is actually deleted, rather than simply hidden from view. Windows Explorer, Union, file & search options, view tab to view hidden folders and clear the Hide protected operating system files [a few lines below the item in the list of hidden folders].

  2 - made command prompt right click on the command prompt entry into all programs, accessories, and select run as administrator.

  3 - this procedure system restore returns the system files to the State they were at the time of the restore point was created.  But I have never seen a report of anyone removing the Documents & settings before folder so I don't know that the restoration would correct this particular problem.  This comment also applies to running sfc / scannow.

  4 new admin - account when I created a new Admin account, all existing programs were available, and it is the behavior, I expect in all cases.  You won't see any desktop shortcuts because they belong to each account, but programs should be in the Start button, all programs lists.  You can get access authorization in the administrator account to access your existing user account & copy from there, desktop shortcuts if you wish but you must a first full backup or your next routine backup of user account will consider each unique as user data file being modified.  After you change the permissions, you can then run [I think you need a command prompt to run as administrator again] attrib - a/s of your folder my documents [check syntax using attrib /?] to reset all the data user file archive bits & therefore prevent everything back up again.

  5 reinstaling the OS solve the missing documents & settings folder.  I've seen discussions in this forum about putting on another partition data files, but you will need to pick up this topic because I never paid much attention to it.  Before doing [and this is just speculation], try to run then by saving a file from your older pre-Win7 application to see if Win7 itself can recreate the Documents & Settings folder when an older application that calls a configuration file or a backup procedure.  If it works, it would save you a lot of aggravation.  Alternatively, since the Documents & Settings folder must be called on what using an old pre-Win7 application, if your older application may perform & record properly without it then don't bother doing a re-install at all.

  Good luck with everything cela - and once more just to avoid misunderstandings, I've never seen a report on the Documents & Settings folder has been deleted, so I can't give advice without the benefit of a direct experience.

  It is my understanding that some features such as the priority call are activated or not activated by the mobile operator.

  For example, I have the priority call function, yet when I open it, it's all gray and impossible to change off.

• Query newbie problem: missing data function from the drop-down list

  I am a student with 10g express come with our manual. WinXp SP3 installation went perfectly and I can perform all necessary queries from the command line, no problem. The Publisher provides SQL scripts related to the topic of the chapter that creates users and data to the Chapter exercises. When I go to the home page of database and the attempt to run a query, I can change the alias, insert conditions and do something else with the record, but when I hit the drop down arrow to function there is nothing there, no list. I was back on the chapters dealing with installation thinking I missed some settings but I get empty. AY help would be appreciated.

  Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to be able to communicate effectively on your devices and the keyboard is certainly the key to that. I want to help as much as possible.

  Before we go to this is always a good idea to have a fresh backup of your device when troubleshooting. If you don't know how to make a backup of take a look at the steps in this article: the backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  Once you have saved, I would recommend starting by removing the keyboard Hinglish and then add it again. You can do this by going to settings > general > keyboard. Here, you can type "Edit" and then on the red icon to remove the keyboard. Once it is removed, restart your iPhone. You can go back to the same settings and press 'Add a new keyboard' to add it back to the options available.

  If the behavior persists after add it again, you can try to reset the settings on your device. What it actually is, give some of your settings to factory default. This removes all data and applications, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, contact ID, brightness & paper painted and privacy, then you may need to define these things upwards after this reset.

  Do this please go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

  Yes it happens too. Also I also disappears after that a slightly longer period of time. We assume that it is expected that the Watch has a limited amount of space and this type of information is unlikely to be relevant for most people.

  Is it necessary to have a folder full of files and an individual folder appear whenever I want to download a full webpage in firefox. This is not the case in safari. It is annoying to have to keep two icons for each web page, and if I put the file icon in the folder other files download each web page is not a simple click of an icon to open the page in offline mode. I must go to the folder and find the file icon. Am I missing some settings so that it works as well in firefox, like in safari? Thank you.
