Missing Perfmon.exe?

Good so I'm went to access my resource monitor, and every time I tried a mistake would show saying Perfmon.exe are missing.

I'm not very tech savvy, so if someone can give me some solutions to this I would be more than grateful!

Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

We need more information about the issue so that we can help you better.

Thank you for details on the issue.

"Perfmon.exe" is the process behind the 'Windows performance monitor' which is a tool to display visually integrated in real-time or through historical data performance counters. This problem may occur because of damaged or missing Windows files.

I suggest you run the system file checker (SFC) and see if it helps.

  • Is more access to the internet, missing csrss.exe

One of my two computers can no longer access the internet - missing csrss.exe.

The computer is running XP (service pack 3) and Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE).

Symptom: When initialize - upward, he says he can't find csrss.exe in the directory: C:\Docum...~1\...\...\...\csrss.exe

He suggested to delete the reference to it in the registry.

    Hello

If you are not familiar with stuff like this the simplest way is to reinstall the device using Recovery DVD that you got with your laptop.

Place the recovery media in the DVD drive and unplug the unit. Turn on the unit and press the C button and keep it down. On this way the DVD player will be a first in the boot priority. If everything works fine the recovery procedure will be implemented. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

I hope that you have no file on the HARD drive because if you start the recovery procedure will be formatted the entire HARD drive and all files will be deleted.

    Good bye

  • How can I get the print spooler to start when the file is missing: lexbces.exe? where can I download this file?

I TRIED TO RE-INSTALL MY HP WIRELESS PRINTER AND IT WOULD NOT INSTALL. I HAVE RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT THE PRINT SPOOLER WAS NOT WORKING AND STOPPED. I have TRIED TO START THE PRINT SPOOLER AND FOUND what IT MISSING THE lexbces.exe FILE. I THINK THAT WHEN I UNINSTALLED THE HP PRINTER, HE WALKED OUT OF THIS FILE. IT IS IN THE SYSTEM 32 AND A FILE OF REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL. DOWNLOAD THIS FILE OR DO I HAVE TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS XP?

Lexbces.exe is from Lexmark (or Dell-badged Lexmark) printer install.  When the Lexmark printers are installed, they configure the print spooler to depend on Lexbces.  Unfortunately, when you uninstall the software Lexmark, the uninstall program removes the file but does not have the print spooler dependency.

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following line in the black command prompt window and press enter

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

Note that there is no space before the = but there is a space after it.

    Restart the computer.

See the instructions on One Article to do a clean installation of your printer.

After the restart, you can check that the print spooler has started in several ways.  One way is:

Open a command prompt window and type the following command, and then press ENTER:

    spooler request SC

You should see the following in the command prompt window:

    spooler request SC

    Service_Name: Spooler
    TYPE: 110 WIN32_OWN_PROCESS (interactive)
    STATE: 4 RUNNING
    (STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN)

  • How to restore a computer using xp with missing ntldr.exe?

  • missing Ntoskrnl.exe and other errors when who reinstall windows 7 pro 64-bit

I had windows installed on a HARD drive and received an SSD and I decided on the SSD HARD drive image, so I wouldn't have to reinstall. As I suspected it might that cause some problems and I decided to simply wipe the SSD drive and attempt to reinstall. I wiped the SSD and started my windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 DVD. It will pass through the first process (Windows loading files) with the screen of levels of grey and the downstairs, but subsequently loading bar, I get an error telling me that the ntoskrnl.exe is missing or damaged, and I have no option other than to try again to load the disc, or stop. I have another disc of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit I tried to use, and it gave me the same message. There are a few other errors I received, I do not at the moment, but as soon as I get some time and if I get them again once I will update the thread with this info.

I also ran memtestx86 and there were errors with a specific location, but I just removed the RAM of this niche and I guess it should be OK after that. Am I wrong?

I am the computer OEM. If I need to provide more information please let me know and I can accommodate.

    Thank you.

The problem was with RAM. One of my 4GB DIMMS was bad. I removed and changed my poles autour needed and I could boot disk Windows 7 Pro and install correctly.

A faulty RAM stick was causing the problem.

    Hello

I understand that you get a white screen in the middle of the screen.

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7 system files

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Method 2:

    Please run Microsoft Safety
Scan to scan your computer for infections.
To download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner, follow these steps:

    (a) go to the website of Microsoft Safety Scanner: Security Microsoft Scanner
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    (b) click on download now.
    (c) If you are prompted, click Run. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the Microsoft Safety Scanner. When prompted, add a shortcut to the Microsoft Safety Scanner on your desktop.
    (d) from your desktop, double-click the icon for the Microsoft Safety Scanner. When the Microsoft Safety Scanner program is launched, click Type of Scan, then click Scan, then click Next.
    (e) once the analysis is complete, remove all the entries of malware detected

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 3:

If the problem persists, I suggest you to create a new user account and check if it helps.

    Create a user account
