• Tab 'Search' has stopped working. CHMS

  I maintain several. CHMS for a customer. For some reason I can't understand, the tab "Search" of all. CHM that I've recently updated is no longer works. Any attempt to research translates into "no topics found." I checked that the older versions of. CHMS have tabs to search for work, but everything. CHM that I've updated this year is more equipped with a 'Search' tab. I even took one of the projects of the last year, is made absolutely no changes, recompiled, and voila, search is broken.
  
  I checked that I have all the settings correctly on the Windows Properties dialogue box, as well as all necessary. DLL is correctly installed and registered.
  
  The only change in my setup, it's that I've upgraded to IE7.0 (finally!) earlier this year. And I follow all the updates of Windows. I've been using and continue to use RoboHelp HTML X5.0.2. (I have not upgraded because, in my opinion, it was not worth my $500. I am a independent and stood for a more robust upgrade).
  
  Any ideas? Frankly, I guess that an upgrade of Microsoft has messed up the work and I'm stuck, unless I have spend money...

  I found the solution, after picking up on an idea from Rick. Although I checked for and found the .dll file Rick mentnioned, I found that I was missing the itcc.dll which is part of the 1.x Microsoft HTML workshop. Once I have recorded this .dll and then recompiled in RoboHelp, the Search tab once more working properly.

  Since the search offered appointment on your homepage page chosen. Now, move the mouse to the upper left corner and the options for displaying, toolbars for analysis and make sure the "menu bar" is checked. This will show the options File, Edit, View, history, bookmarks and tools and help. Click on tools, then Options, and then select the current page as your home page. All should be arranged.

• How can I remove tab "search" bing to piggyback on my Google Chrome browser

  Everytime I open my homepage Google Bing opens a 2nd tab search in my Google Chrome toolbar. It started yesterday when I hijacked in loading a Free Download Manager. and Microsoft led was also included (which I didn't ask for either) I deleted successfully Free Download Manager and leads, but Bing is still loading on every startup Google home page.

  When you go into chrome and settings under the box "at startup". You put to 'open a specific page or set of pages? If so, you will see 'Set the Pages' option and just make sure that Bing is not listed as a page that opens upward when starting Google Chrome.

  I hope this helps. If not, let me know what option is selected or anything you can remember downloading before it started.

  I found the only thing that has worked will Microsoft .com and low loading a Windows Search 4.0 upgade.

  I installed it and now it works fine.  All blogs online even came close helping.

  I did recive the message when windows has finished initializing and when I tried to go the line.

• Yahoo default, DNS Doubleclick, Yahoo new tab search

  Having just switch to firefox on Mac as your primary browser as Google does not help things to force us to sign every time.

  However, even the latest version of Firefox is a big left out. The default search keeps Yahoo food, regardless of how many times you remove it from preferences.

  And new tab keeps so reset to Yahoo - little matter how many times change you by change of path browser.newtab.url.

  Finally, I have no idea why random new tabs open with Doubleclick DNS - I checked my computer and there is no trace of Doubleclick anywhere. I even disabled ads on all of my Google accounts.

  Can anyone give a solution either this portage just on?

  Hi errwin, this problem is probably due to one of your addons (adware). If you like, either try to disable the unnecessary addons or Update firefox altogether...

  find fake research delta garbage and double click on the url link.

  Replace it with what you like, google, yahoo, subject: empty, after that everything should be the way it was.

• When I click on the + button on the tape tabs to open a new tab, search.conduit opens. How can I change to get the original firefox tab page?

  Recently, I installed utorrent. The problem began after that. The homepage is Google, but by opening a new tab, I don't get the thumbnails appearing usually rather search.conduit page is open. How can I get my old settings back? I even uninstalled utorrent to see if the problem goes away, but it's not.

  Looks like led/Utorrent amended your preference of browser.newtab.url . First of all, check your installed programs and Firefox extensions for a related Conduit material or a 'Utorrent browser bar '. Uninstall if found.

  1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue on the subject: config page.
  3. Type browser.newtab.url in the search box
  4. Double-click the browser.newtab.url preference and change the url to Subject: newtab
  5. Also search about: config for driving/Utorrent preferences. Search for pipes and Utorrent. If there is, then right-click and choose reset

  I use Utorrent, but what can happen is that the Utorrent Installer installed also led. When you install programs, don't forget to read and not to go click happy.

  Thanks Ed, to try to answer my query. Earlier, however, I discovered the solution. I went into modules and suddenly noticed that I had never seen before. Don't remember its title - he had to come with an Upgrade to FLV Applians that I had downloaded recently. • Basic missing tab settings

  Hi people

  We have a server farm implemented here with 6 Terminal servers and printers loaded locally on each server. The tab settings in the printer preferences when printing c7260 on two of our servers or our C5240 is missing. On the other 4 servers, it is fine. Exactly the same drivers loading on all servers and in fact all of them were created as of the VMS in a windows image. I've checked everything I can think but can figure out what's different

• Apps missing tab

  Hello

  I'm on a work computer, but I think I have administrator rights and have installed Adobe (Photoshop CC) products on this computer before.  I try to install a free trial of InDesign, but the Apps tab does not show in my version of creative cloud. The top of the nav page has only ' home community Stock assets.  Apps is just missing.

  Is there a problem with the program or if it is probably blocked by IT?

  I tried following these steps, but not of change:

  1. In the context menu, choose Preferences. Click the account and then click the sign of creative cloud.
  2. Note:  If creative cloud sign is grey, go to step 2.
  3. Of the same gear in creative cloud icon, choose to leave Creative Cloud.
  • 2. Rename the OPM.db file that is located in the OOBE folder located here:
    1. Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
    • Windows XP: \Local Adobe application
    • Windows 7: \AppData\Local\Adobe
    1. Change the name to OPM.db.old
  1. Restart the Adobe Creative Cloud.
  2. Reconnect to your Adobe ID

• Missing tab of the Spry Menu on CS5 using an iMac (only 2 computers do not see)

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on iMac in my class. Two students are not able to see the blue tab of the Spry menu bar.  Is there something that should be selected in so that they can see it?  I thought that maybe they missed a step, so we followed our book and recreated the Menu bar on another page.  Once the menu bar is complete and you click on the Blue Menu Spry tab is not available.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Spry menus have been abandoned by Adobe.two years ago because they can not be used by millions of visitors on portable devices.  We use now of JQuery menus or pure HTML/CSS menus.

  Ahhh, see here, here, I'm gone and assumed you were talking about WebHelp or FlashHelp. Those who have some problems when it comes to search.

  So, there. Is CHM files? Other search terms is located? I ask, because there is a problem with an individual. DLL or two that you may need to resolve. But if it was this, search wouldn't work, period. You seem to say it works, but can not find this term.

  I was able to make it work by making the following change. I'm not sure that you said you are using which version of RoboHelp, so what I'll provide at will for version 6 or greater.

  Click file > project settings > Advanced button > tab Stop List.
  Locate and delete the words 'To' and 'Do', and then click OK.
  Recompile your. CHM and it should find now dutifully "to-do". But the trade-off is that if you search for the word "to", there also each occurrence of him as well. Normally, this term is excluded by the Stop List.
