  The only thing I can think of that would cause the computer shut down every 2 hours would be if you have the Windows 8 Preview of consumers or the Windows 8 Preview version. These two operating systems were copies of the assessments only and were set to expire on 15 January and 16 January.

When this window opens be sure that the display on the main screen is your screen (monitor), then below make sure that the check box use my settings for this device is checked.
