'Mixed' audio port and check - looking for a definitive answer

Hi people,

so, I have a MacBook Air (2014) running OS X El Capitan and a headphone adapter 4 poles.

Now, let me of you who go right: with this configuration, there is no way whatsoever to use the 'mix' as an entry port? I couldn't find a clear answer to that, yet. Just a Yes or no.

    This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

  • Windows 7 has lost all my settings and started looking for XP

    I have a new laptop with Windows 7 (64-bit). I'm about to install the software, I need for work and customize the settings. Everything worked up to now, when happened the following.

    -J' installed software (nothing special, for example (from a reliable source) existing communication software)

    -J' restarted the computer

    -All my settings for the taskbar and toolbar are lost (they disappear). The button (which is instead of the XP Start button) effectively changed to start button (looks like the XP Start button). The translucent window headers changed to those not translucent (as I'm used to XP). The bar of tasks/toolbar settings won't save any more (even if I register, they go back to an earlier version)

    How can I go back to 'Windows 7' and get my settings? What could have caused this strange behavior?

    I did this before on my own just see if I liked better. I did not so I went back to the Windows 7 look. In your case, there are a few different scenarios that can cause this.

    1. your theme has changed without your consent. -You can fix this with a right-click on your desktop and go to personalize . Change your theme to one that you have registered or by using the Windows 7 default labeled "Windows 7" theme. From there, you can simply add your images to customize your wallpaper.

    2. your Visual effect have been replaced by 'adjust for best results' .

    Open the menu 'Start' and right-click on computer . Go to Properties .

    Near the top-right corner of this window, you should see "advanced system settings" , click on it.

    Click the Advanced tab. Under performance , click settings .

    From here (depending on your graphics card), choose either ' let Windows choose what is best for my computer ' or ' Adjust to improve the appearance '.»» Click OK .

    3. Finally your graphics card driver.<->

    Is not as likely to happen by simply installing a program, but it's not of the unheard. Windows 7 will come back to that look older if somewhat your driver is corrupted and windows is still trying to allow you to use your computer. If you uninstall or damage your driver (ex installed a new graphics card) your computer can use graphics embedded gives you the possibility to use some of the nicer features of Windows 7 like the transparency and Aero Peek.

    Again, this is not as often, but if the other 2 suggestions above do not alleviate your problems try to reinstall your graphics card driver.

    If you are not sure of this graphic card you have click on your Start Menu , go to the search box and press Device Manager type enter. Click the arrow next to display adapters .

    A drop down menu should appear showing you graphics card. Go to one of the sites above to update or restore your drivers.

  • Fix/re-install Atheros Bluetooth Audio driver and Bluetooth VDP for VAIO SVE1512J6ESI?

    My VAIO SVE1512J6ESI laptop is running Windows 8.1. It has both these drivers with the same details:
    Qualcomm-Atheros Communications
    Date of the driver 12/18/2012
    8.0.0.218 driver version

    And they both have the same problem:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10) - component of object path is not a directory object.

    I tried all the troubleshooting windows options does not. Do I need more updated versions of these? If so, someone know where I can find them?

    Thanks for your reply.

    I had already pursued these avenues, but given that Sony has abandoned its Vaio range in February 2014, he gave up virtually any type of support in Europe and are not all drivers. That's why I tried you American site. Probably a lot of other European Vaio owners have done the same.

    However, I had help on the Europe community site (http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en#Community) and from there has been directed to a commercial product (driversupport.com). This product is very useful in the following scenario:
    Windows says that your drivers are up-to-date. You know they are not. But you don't know exactly which versions of what drivers you need or where to get them.

    Driversupport.com has solved the problem and my Vaio now works fine. I'm not approving Driversupport.com in general, but for this narrow scenario and on my machine in particular, it does the job.

    In previous versions of FF I could highlight one or more words and then right click menu context had a "search on the internet with the help of these words" option. What makes the search so much easier.

    Reinstalling firefox did not help.

    Problem was caused by the FIREBUG Addon 1.10.6.
    Problem is solved if I disable and re activate firebug. I hope that newre version of firebug will fix the problem.

    EDIT: FIREBUG 1.11.2 fixed problem. It seems that firebug is not updated autoamticly, you must remove the old addon and reinstall the new version.

  • Broad question who are looking for a simple answer.

    I am a designer for a wholesaler and I need to track costs of all our prints by provider. I am wanting to create a Web site with interactive forms able to export data to an excel form. Basically, the process works like this:

    1. the seller receives the request from a client.

    2. the seller fills out the design request form and submits to the designer.

    3 designer full order.

    4 the design cost is entered in excel form with five fields sortable (Date, vendor, customer, supplier, brand)

    5 accounting invoice for the cost of production design.

    We use a subscription service primitive right now on the web but is very clumsy and uses old technology and I'm basically at the mercy of their technical support if I have problems.

    We do more than 1,000 drawings per month, is why this system is necessary in tracking our costs as opposed to this follow-up on a basis of by design.

    I know that this question seems misplaced, but bare with me...

    Is it possible to design a website in Flash that has interactive forms with the ability to shoot the data forms excel for menus (customer, supplier of lists), rudimentary costs drop-down and eventually to export this info into an excel workbook? Is it possible to do it with a module offline that can sync when an internet connection is available?

    I don't have instructions on how to do it, only if it is the correct path to spread downwards.

    Flash cannot read xls files.  but excel can export comma-delimited files and flash can read and analyze those.

    Flash cannot save data in any format on its own, but with the script server side (like php), you can save data to the server.

    While I was recording game for a game with Fraps, I got BSODed with him saying that an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error has been generated by win32k.sys.  I have debugged the minidump file and am looking for a reason why it happened.  I don't see anything obvious to said in the report that is generated if:

    So far, this was the only time where I had it coming, but I have not tried from new record yet.  Actively running programs are FireFox, Pcsx2 and Fraps.  However, I ran these before without this issue arise.  I'm inclined to think that this is a time to screw that maybe something has been registered correctly or incorrectly read memory.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
