Method 1:

Try to connect other USB devices to the port and check if it works.

Method 2:

Connect the mobile mouse 1000 wireless to a port on another computer and check if it works.

  • Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 matching question

    Hello
I have a question about the Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 matching.
As my work still smiling but my receiver lost nano, my friend gives me his nano-receiver due to the fact that his mouse has beaten already.
How can I pair them up in my computer?
    Thank you.
    PID: 01618-523-5267323-91249

How can I pair them up in my computer?

    You can not.

Most of the new products Microsoft wireless mouse does not support user "pairing".  I think the Mobile Mouse 1000 is one of them.  Confirm by viewing photos in the article linked in the title of the "method 2" in the post of Smittychat: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838398
If your mouse and transceiver do not have the "connect channel" buttons, you can not pair.

For these products, the mouse and the nano transceiver are matched at the factory.  If the transceiver is lost or broken, the mouse can't work.

  • Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500, scrolling problems

I bought a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500 target a few months ago and it works great so far. When I scroll it jumps a long distance and is not smooth. I tried to lower the speed of scrolling in the mouse settings, but it does not fix it. The only way I can break free, it is by downloading an app on the app store for Google Chrome (I don't know the name of the application). Help, please. Thanks in advance.

Unplug the receiver to the usb port.   Plug it in again.

I can only conclude this is a bug in the firmware/hardware and the receiver must be restarted.   It has nothing to do with the drivers because it happens with windows, osx and linux.

  • Error message: this operation requires an interactive window station while trying to install drivers for Microsoft Life Chat LX-3000 and Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000

Okay, so I bought recently when a helmet (Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000) and a mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000) wireless, but my laptop Windows Vista Home Premium is having problems with the installation and execution of the drivers for these two devices.

Original title: driver for headset and a wireless mouse will not install correctly

I already had the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 and had no problems whatsoever doing this job, but I got it for at least a year I guess. I also installed the software that came with the CD (called Microsoft Mouse, even though it says on the CD Intellipoint 7.1) for the mouse and driver online for headphones (called helmet Microsoft) have also downloaded. However, when I plug in the devices, he's trying to find the drivers. Initially, it comes up with a window saying "New hardware found" and has the ability to "locate and install driver software", despite the fact that I already supposed to be installed the drivers through download programs or to use the CD.

In any case, I select the "locate and install driver software" and it says "search Windows Update... «for 30 seconds or so, then said «Installing the driver software...» ».

I then get a message saying "Windows has encountered a problem... etc... This operation requires an interactive window station. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit their website and check the support section for driver software. »

If I disconnect and reconnect the device, I get the same situation with "new hardware found" and the options for search again...

I tried both devices on another computer (Windows XP) and they manage to set up automatically even without the software provided on the CD or on the website and work perfectly well, however I need them working on my laptop ;)

So I guess the main problem is that I get this message "interactive window station" preventing the drivers to install correctly. I have no idea what this means and have spent a lot of time trying to find them online.

Well, I've resorted to re - install Windows Vista and installed very well both automatically when it is plugged.

Now to reinstall all my programs... fun fun fun...

    Thanks for your help anyway!

  • mobile mouse frozen microsoft 1000 wireless

My microsoft 1000 wireless mobile mouse has stopped working suddenly. Can I use the buttons and the scroll wheel, but I won't spend. Sometimes and for some reason, it works for short periods of time. I tried with the new drivers, new batteries and other computers, and it does make a difference.

I have "made them too. I'll try again with new batteries that I bought today.

  • Microsoft will solve the problem of 'Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000'?

Because the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 scroll wheel is more fluid than the other mice, and is not "on the points of many applications (including Picture Viewer from Microsoft in Windows 7)" are not recording movement in the scroll wheel :(

These applications will record the movement when you flick madly (exaggerate your move), but on the tread of the wheel normal, nothing happens.

After research, I understand that this is because many applications read the signal coming to the "click" or "bump" a wheel of traditional scrolling to 120 units of movement.

It seems that the fluid motion in the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 sends in increments of 30 or 40 units and these programs don't scroll unless they get a signal of 120 (that's why you have to flip through wildly).

It's sad because it means that I don't like the mouse and I won't buy Microsoft again unless they fix it!

I recently bought Microsoft Wireless 4000 Mouse for my laptop DELL Latitude E6410. The laptop came with the default value to the pointing device setup application. I don't have Microsoft Intellipoint software. I have Win7 64 bit.

Here are the problems with the scroll wheel I noticed when I bought a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 4000

    (o) the scroll wheel does not scroll through the items of the combobox when the combo did NOT fall down, but has the input focus.

for example, control panel-> mouse-> pointers-> 'Plans' combobox.

    (o) the scroll wheel does not scroll the MS Office 2007 Ribbon.

    (o) in Word 2007, the Ctrl + wheel does not zoom out

    (o) the scroll wheel does not scroll the XML Notepad 2007

    Solution:

This solution is not mine - it was on the internet already.

    It worked for me.

I write this with additional measures for "how to get there."

Go to the properties of the mouse-> Hardware tab

Select the problematic mouse in the list "mouse HID-compliant".

    Click 'properties '.

    Go to the Details tab

Select the "Device Instance path" in the combobox control.

    A value is displayed, for example: HID\VID_045E & PID_0745 & MI_01 & COL01\8 & 5538EC & 0 & 0000

    Note This value.

Open the registry editor and navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\HID\VID_045E & PID_0745 & MI_01 & Col01\8 & 5538ec & 0 & 0000\Device Parameters

The "Device Instance path" is the path of the "reg" key that corresponds to this instance of the mouse.

In the device settings, add the following keys of reg DWORD (32 bit)

    HScrollHighResolutionDisable = 1

    VScrollHighResolutionDisable = 1

    Delta = 120 (decimal)

Remove the radio and put it back (this type of re - initializes the driver). You can choose to restart the PC, too - no matter.

    It should work.

Initially, I didn't put the key "Delta". But because of this, it was scrolling as if I pressed the keys 'Home' and 'End' - that is, all the way to the bottom or the top. After the 'Delta' key, it worked.

  • Have a new computer running Windows 7. Microsoft 4000 wireless mobile mouse: left click does not work, can not solve the problem.

Have a new laptop with Windows 7, ASUS Intel-i5. Initially, the automatic installation of my Wireless mobile mouse 4000, which I had used with XP, has worked. Only problem was that the mouse was stubborn, when you attempt to left click: i.e. get something - and persistence was needed to get there. Now I can not at all to a left click. Tried all resolution of known issues, left click procedures still dead in the water.

  • Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 problems.

I'm using Windows vista 32-bit on a Dell Studio 15 laptop.  I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500.  I plugged the nano-receiver into my USB port and installed the driver but the mouse does not work.  It does not work if I move my mouse or click on the buttons.  I have bluetooth activated on my laptop but there is no button on the mouse or nano receiver to synchronize with the laptop.  I searched and searched the Internet to try to find an answer, but I don't see anything.  Can anyone help please?

A couple of things you can look at at\try:

    1. Since beginning--> search box type mouse, when the application Microsoft Mouse appears select.
    2. Select the Dell Touchpad tab, then click on the picture to open the properties of the Touchpad.
    3. In the properties of the Touchpad, choose Device Select.
    4. Check the box that says "Disable touchpad/ponting stick when external USB mouse is present".
    5. Press OK.

From my experience with Dell laptops, I have also found that sometimes an external USB mouse fails to be recognized because of some quirks with power and USB. Let the wired mouse, then turn off the laptop and unplug the battery for about two minutes. Turn on the machine again and see if the 'magical' mouse appears.

  • Disorder of 1000 wireless mouse. The mouse is defective?

My 1000 wireless mobile mouse is barely 6 months old, and I have not used a lot else. The problem started a few days ago.

After a few minutes of work, the mouse cursor gets stuck on the top edge of the screen as if someone pushes the cursor upward continuously. The pointer can be moved horizontally along the top of the screen with some urging, but he refuses to go down. I tried surface another mouse. It is certainly not a problem of surface.

I checked the troubleshooting section and tried everything that was suggested to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838398

    1. I've tried different ports

2 tried different computers (all running Windows 7 64-bit)

    3. install the latest IntelliPoint drivers

    4. new battery

    5. no wireless device nearby except my cell phone and the EVDO modem that works in totally different bands.

So is it a hardware failure or what? Should I go for the RMA?

    Thank you
