  • Cannot read the response header - short read

    I have a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.8.  I also have a HP Photosmart C4700 printer.  Yesterday, I started to get the message that precedes, when I tried to print.

    Went on this forum and we tried all the following features based on what has been proposed.

    In system preferences, I deleted and added the printer again.  Disconnect all cables from the printer, it turns off, then reconnected.

    I also downloaded all my Mac, more went into disk utility, updates repair the drive, rebooted, then reseset the system of printer options which meant reinstall the printer.

    No go.  Still get the same message when printing, as well as documents are saved in the stack of the printer, the printer paused.  Sigh.

    Any further suggestions?

    I would skip the first part. From the second section of the steps numbered by resetting the printing system. I hope that will get it repaired for you.

    Let me know the results and we can go from there.

    Good luck

  • Tool to read the response and request ksoap?

    Hello

    Does anyone know of a 3rd third party tool that can be used to read the request and response using ksoap2.

    I am aware of httptransport, .requestdump and responsedump. But these do not work in all scenarios.

    What I want is something that will trace the whole process and give me the details of the calls made in preference to the xml format.

    Thanks in advance!

    Saket

    I use tcpmon for this.

    can be downloaded for free and is also part of soapUI I recommend for webservice tests as well.

    Another tip:

    ksoap2 httptransportSE to test your webservices with JUnit (in java desktop). If your Web service is wrapped properly you should not use any bb specific code and can run all your webservices in JUnit (I do).

  • Please point out the features of the device in a request header

    Responsive Web Design http://bit.ly/f6TPB7 is an approach/technique/movement extremely important to make the mobile-friendly web. Given that web mobile traffic explodes and there were more smart phones sold in 2011 that PCs http://vrge.co/wqOiED that the importance of the movement cannot insist.

    We have some significant obstacles on the path to fully optimized Responsive Web Design, however. Sensitive images (small images for small screens optimize download times) and optimized CSS/JS (mobile devices do not need the same JS/CSS as desktop browsers do) are the most obvious.

    The best way to manage sensitive images and optimize CSS/JS would be on the side server. However, server-side has enough information on the features of the device, with the emergence of all sorts of cruft-y solutions for result (e.g. with)

    popular for tags etc.) that should not exist.

    However, browsers know a lot about the devices they are running on and could pass this information to servers as part of the initial application, which allows the servers to get smarter than what we have now.

    Something as simple as if Firefox passed along information of width/height of the unit within the framework of the initial request headers would go very very far, which can do a lot of smart decisions on the side Server (possibly allowing systems 'media-queries-like' on the side Server).

    Since some proxy servers break or disable the custom headers, probably the safest way to add this is to add the width/height of the user-agent header information.

    Mozilla is in no hurry to add a bunch of stuff for the request headers. There are sites like bostonglobe.com who make sensitive design without the need for these headers. Giving also the exact pixels may lead to the design of the site that breaks easily to other pixels width/height and densities. That being said that Firefox will be to clarify the General class of the device through the user agent. He calls clearly to being a mobile device < ~ 7 ", compressed ~ 7 '-~ 11 ' and office. That can be used to make generalizations about the size of the content that you want to send. There will be more info on the user agent string mobile Firefox 11 beta is released.

    [edit] This work has been planned for Firefox for Android v11 however proceed to time constraints, was released as part of 14 Firefox for phones. Shelf support will be added in a future version of Firefox.

  • ORA-19846: cannot read the header of the data file of the remote site 21

    Hello

    I have a situation or I can say a scenario. It is purely for testing base. Database is on 12.1.0.1 on a Linux box using ASM (OMF).

    Standby is created on another machine with the same platform and who also uses ASM (OMF) and is in phase with the primary. Now, suppose I have create a PDB file on the primary of the SEED and it is created successfully.

    After that is a couple of log, do it again passes to the waiting, but MRP fails because of naming conventions. Agree with that! Now, on the primary, I remove the newly created PDB (coward the PDB newly created). Once again a couple of switches of newspapers which is passed on to the wait. Of course, the wait is always out of sync.

    Now, how to get back my watch in sync with the primary? I can't roll method until the required data (new PDB) file does not exist on the main site as well. I get the following error:

    RMAN > recover database service prim noredo using backupset compressed;

    The clues on how to I go ahead? Of course, recreating the eve is an option as its only based on test, but I don't want recreation.

    Thank you.

    I tried like below:

    1 a incremental backup of the primary of the CNS where off the eve also taken primary backup controlfile as Eve format.

    2 copy the backup of the watch parts, catalogged them on the day before.

    3 recovered Eve with noredo option - it fails here with the same error pointing to the 21 data file.

    OK, understood. Try not to get back the day before first, rather than restore the controlfile and then perform the restoration.

    Make it like:

    1. take incremental backup of primary SNA, also ensures the backup controlfile format.

    2. copy pending, get the location of the data file (names) by querying v$ datafile on the eve. Restore the controlfile ensures from the backup controlfile you took on primary and mount.

    3. Since you are using OMF, the path of primary and standby data file will be different. (/). If you require catalog data from the database files pending.

    (Reason: you restore controlfile from elementary to step 2, which takes place from the main access road). Use the details that you obtained in step 2 and catalog them.

    4. turn the database copy by RMAN. (RMAN > switch database to copy ;))

    5 Catalog backup items that you copied in step 2.

    6. recover the standby database using 'noredo' option.

    7. finally start the MRP. This should solve your problem.

    The reason I say this works is because here, you restore the controlfile to primary first, which will not have details 21, datafile, and then you are recovering. So it must succeed.

    In the previous method, you tried to first collect all the day before, and then restore the controlfile. While remedial classes, always watch seeks datafile 21 as he controlfile is not yet updated.

    Could not copy a file at the location requested. Mac OS 10, Version 10.10 [1].

    I JUST bought this new macbook pro and Lightroom installed, imported 2 lots of pictures, but all of a sudden he kept denying my imports with "could not read the file" or "couldn't copy file at the location requested.  Help, please!

    Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

    You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.

  • Read the URL of the request is complete?

    Hi all

    Is it possible to read the full URL, including the text after ' # ' present in the URL.

    For example, I want to read the full ADDRESS of the request object.

    http://localhost: 8080 /index.jsp? _requestid = 299310 #error

    Here, I can't get the URL including #error. using the methods: request.getRequestURI () and request.getRequestURL ().

    Thank you

    Laurie

    You will not be able to get the part of hash tag using any application or OriginatingRequest.requestURI method. The reason for this is that ID hash fragment is only used on the client side and is not sent to the server by the browser.

    You can get the URL hash # in javascript using "window.location.hash" so a way to get the identifier of hash on the side server must send the request to the server with this value as a query parameter. For example, you can do an AJAX call window.onhashchange event and pass the value of the parameter hash. With the help of jQuery can do something like:

    window.onhashchange = function() {
        $.get('url_to_jsp_or_servlet', { 'hash', window.location.hash }, function(response) {
            // ...
        });
    }

    Then to your JSP or servlet you can try to access it in the usual way as

    String hash = request.getParameter("hash");

  • How to read the value of request Http of the filter of the UCM?

    We have an application web connect to the Complutense University of MADRID. I would add some values to the request sent to the Complutense University of MADRID by this application. This value will be read by a filter of the Complutense University of MADRID, I created.

    What is the value of HTTP servlet can be read the filter of the UCM? is it possible to do something like:
    request.setAttribute ("myAttribute", "theValue")

    and retrieve myAttribute UCM filter value?

    Thank you

    AACC,

    When you rexternal application makes the call to the Complutense University of MADRID, all URL parameters or attributes of the request transformed into data variables Local to the Complutense University of MADRID.

    When you create your filter (if all goes well we are talking about the same thing here that filters means something special to the University Complutense of MADRID) you write Java Code. In this Java Code, you can access 'the query' attributes/values with code like this:

    String myval = m_binder.getLocal ("MyKey");

    Your mileage may vary, but this is the Basic code for out, review and/or use the query parameters.

  • urgent request: how to read the value of a register using VISA read?

    Hello world

    This is a very urgent investigation. can someone help me please? Thank you very much!!

    I wrote a few commands in several registers using VISA write. now, I want to read the value of a different register.

    But the bytes returned are just the commands, I wrote before and a few other commands that I don't know what they are for.

    This is the format of the command, and I enclose the sheet... I want to read the value of register (0 * 41)

    .

    Ravens, if you have something more than me, do not so much it at all =)

    The command you have posted has several components:

    The gray area of the transport layer uses for a checksum

    several bits set to 0.

    a single bit to define if it's a read/write operation

    a byte to identify the register of interests.

    two bytes for the data.

    With what you have provided, there are only three things we need to worry:

    (1) set the R/W bit to 0 to mean we're reading rather than write.

    (2) set the second byte 0 x 41 to focus on the register of interests.

    (3) with a reading, I can't imagine the last issue of two bytes.  They probably ignored.  The documentation you provided does nothing to explain this.  The most logical thing I can think is that these two bits contain the data, you go to the registry if you set the R/W bit to 1.

    There are two parts to this communication.  The first part is an entry VISA to send this control unit.  It is likely that you will need to complete the message.  You will need to know how to do this.

    The device must respond with the message that you mentioned in the original post.  Crows is right.  He's coming back as a string.  You can use the subset of string to separate the components defined by the standard.  You can use these components to determine if the data is legitimate and then do what you want with the data.
