Model Photosmart 5510, stopped printing regular apps.

Connected to e-print center, which shows that the documents are pending.  How to print?   I saw the regular settings and everything seems to be in order.  How to solve the problem.  (The selected application is Universal Crossword)

jlm1122,

It seems that these jobs are stuck in the queue.

I might try a reboot network and see if cela them gets the impression for you.

The first thing you want to do is to unplug the power cord at the back of your router.

Then do the same with your printer, either from the wall or the back of the printer.

Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the router. Wait another 30 seconds and reconnect the printer.

If the jobs do not print after that the printer starts up, then you want to cancel the jobs 'pending' in ePrintCenter and perform these same steps again.

If you are still having problems with this after these steps, let me know and we can try something else.

  • Photosmart 5510 not printing and noises when toggled or asked to print?

About 6 months ago, we purchased our printer HP Photosmart 5510 alongside our Touchsmart computer, and so far, both work fine.

However, there are a few weeks at random, when I sent a document to print, the printer started making a very loud noise, sounding almost as if he was that something stuck in the back there. Only to make the noise stop, I cancelled the printing and has turned off, which again triggers intense noise. This back on once again, he made the same noise and, before moving on to the usual display a notice on the monitor of printer flashed by saying that the device had extinguished itself incorrectly.

It lasts for a few weeks now, and after having scoured your Web site for all the details, I couldn't find anything on this issue. After detecting that other factors may have come into it, I watched some of your videos on how to fix etc. paper jams. After pulling some paper in the back, I thought the culprit of all this, the message on the monitor said he had a 'ink cartridge problem' or could not detect the paper, even if we just replaced the ink and I have to reload the paper. I watched the videos of these two problems troubleshooting and tried 20 seconds thing etc, but nothing worked.

Really, I'm so frustrated and I would like a little help from a very kind person out there?

    Hey mollycat,

It seems that there is a problem with the power of the printer mechanism paper.  If the unit was loud noises, then it might be a part out of alignment or a piece of paper caught in the unit.  However, you mentioned the continuation of the measures is stuck, remove the paper, and now the printer gives error ink system.

I will provide documentation of troubleshooting below for the two issues, but if these steps don't erase the question then I would advise to contact HP Technical Support on this printer.  Is it is only 6 months old, then it would still be under warranty by the original manufacturer.

An "Out of paper" message on the control panel and the all-in-one doesn't pick up paper

An alphanumeric Code (example: ' 0 x 'r' C2...) ") or 'Ink system failure' Error Message is displayed on the front panel when printing

  • Photosmart HP 7510: HP Photosmart 7510 stopped printing

    Hi all

I bought my HP Photosmart 7510 in 2012 and, until recently, never had a problem with it.  I have a wireless connection.  My Photosmart HP 7510 stopped printing.  I checked with HP print and Scan doctor and followed the steps to determine the problem.   Check for levels of printing came out showing the colors of ink for all but the black cartridge.  I installed a new cartridge.    A new impression level check again showed no black ink level.   I followed the instructions for the cleaning of the printheads and waited as instructed.    I wnet to my printer a few days later and was able to print a few pages perfectly.  But after that, the problem started again.  Now, when I print a test page, I got only one or two colors showing but never in black ink.

I not made any changes to my system, and there is no driver updaates.   I wait with my OS to Windows 10 udate but haven't yet.

You can provide any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi norfolkgirl723,

Welcome to the HP support forum.

I understand that you use a HP Photosmart 7510 e-all-in-one printer with a Windows 7 and you had a black ink not printing not question you thought went away, but now it's happening again. I would like to help with that.

If you do the function of cleaning head with the printer and printing that has no black on it, there is probably a problem with the cartridge or maybe the printhead itself. Here is a document of support for help with this question - color or black ink not print.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  • Photosmart 5510 - cannot print with black just in

I have a Photosmart HP 5510 e-All-in-one printer - B111a. I am running Mac OSX 10.8.5, running a Macbook pro mid 2012 15 inches. I am able to run Windows 8, but have not tried. I threw the magenta, cyan and yellow. I bought a new black toner cartridge. My printer does not print unless I have the magena, cyan and yellow installed. Is it possible to spend it?

No, the cartridges must be present.  In addition, if the printer is allowed to sit for a long time with the cartridges removed the "plumbing" may become permanently blocked.

  • My Photosmart Premium stopped printing yellow or green on the photos! With the help of HP ink cartridges

  • Photosmart B8550 stopped printing from Win 7 Home Premium

I have a Photosmart B8550 for several years. It allows to print from my installation of Win 7 Home Premium, but not now. I tried several fixes, UN-installations driver and re-facilities, including what is described in a thread that has begun on this forum on 15/07/13. The cumulative result is that I can print beautiful pages of diagnostics software HP Solution Center, but nothing of any windows-based application, or a test page from the printer properties page in Control Panel. When I click the "Printing Test Page" button on the printer properties page, I see the page Flash briefly in the series B8500 printer queue window and disappear - but no page is printed. Is there a fix I've not seen? Is what it means the printer has fried? Is there a last attempt, I can do before (probably literally) grabs it by the window?

    Thank you.

My Windows 7 is 64-bit, I was installing the latest full driver from the Web site package and I have a USB connection. Using Windows update has failed. In the meantime, I found that printing from a USB key works fine.

  • Photosmart 5510: HP5510 prints less than 1/2 page black

About 1/2 at the bottom of the page, the black ink seems to run-out. He continues in blue or red, but then runs

Altogether.  It is the way that I expect to act if the cartridge vent was clogged, but they look clean.

I tried the "Clean printhead" option in the Panel, and it usually prints the page test OK. But then, when I try to print a page of text, I get bad results.

The cartridges were purchased at HP online September 29, 2014. They were opened just a couple of days

I also tried a hard reset 30 after.

For what it's worth, I also bought 3 color cartridges at the same time, but have not yet installed the.

Okay, I think I solved the problem. I cut 1/2 on the label covering the squiggles of event and I noticed there is a blockage of the adhesive used to hold the label. You can see on the top of the second wiggle from the left.

After removing the part of such label shown above, I was able to print an entire page of text that previously, I was unable to. I hope this helps some other users with this problem.

  • hp photosmart 5510 e printer

Why my printer keep things that I have printed in the past, when I print something again. It prints the new and old

Printer keeps printing things new and old sometimes there can be other jobs stuck in printing that I suggest you try and you put your computer on and off, then your printer on and outside. Once you have cycled power try and print again.

If this does not resolve the issue, you can also try and run print and scan doctor. This is a free diagnostic tool that allows you to fix common printer problems.

  • Photosmart B110 suddenly stopped printing (Mac user)

Photosmart B110 stopped printing (mac users)

My printer, which worked very well last week suddenly stopped working. It is not configured for the wireless, but is connected by cable to my Mac (OS 10.6.8). The printer is turned on, the computer attempts to send that message printer is put on the queue. Then it disconnects. But befoee does, it does not print the last piece (5 lines), text file, then a line of gibberishg.

I went through the page, deleted in case of problem, printer drivers according to the instructions but then realized I couldn't add them back again. The Mac can't "see" the printer with the USB cable. And there seems to be no way to add them to the "add a printer". It is empty.

So now, I can't even all print.

Would appreaciate any help I can get. Thank you.

    Hello

Try to restart the Mac and printer and check any change.

So make sure that the most recent driver is installed by clickign the icon Apple, then software update.

If this does not help solve the problem try to reset the system as follows:

    * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
    Select print & fax.
Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user name and password.
Click OK. The printing system resets.

Now go to Applications > Hewlett-Packard > utility device, follow the HP installation wizard and try to print again.

Please let me know if this is useful,

    Shlomi
