  • When the new models Qosmio from Toshiba, which will be released?

    Hello everyone!
recently, I have myself a model of s885 - 01 l toshiba satellite. I got in 2013 and was very pleased with her on the work plan and game practices. However, due to the exponential of the hardware upgrades, I need a new laptop computer with solid game capabilities. I heard from a friend that the qosmio models have these specs I'm looking for, but the problem is that none of the new models have a processor intel of the 6th generation of skylake. If im right here wanting to ask anybody on hints of a new model, since the last version was revealed at the end of 2015, but only with the 4th gen of intel which is not enough for my application. I also tried to reach the clientele but without success.

I'm looking for is a solid portable technique of the series qosmio with 32 GB of ram, 6 to 8 GB of vram with nvidia or amd graphics (amd, I prefer), 1-2 TB of hard disk, of course a processor intel 6th generation, and both with windows 10 including directx12. I hope to be able to upgrade the hardware in regards to the graphics card, hard drive and ram.

I hope you could help me with my recent favor, I hope that there is always a model released before the end of 2016.
Thank you very much in advance,
    Kind regards

  • How to locate the Vaio model number

In order to obtain the best support you can other users of the forum it is important to always quote the model number when you have a question.

The method to find your model number depends on when the product was released. Very old models (released before summer 2000), label information and of it compliance (located on the bottom of the case for laptop or the back of the desktop case) indicates the actual model / product name. For Vaios all more recent (models released fall 2000 and later versions) the model name is located on a small label located in one of the following locations:

    Laptops:

    * On the bezel (frame) of the LCD display.
    * On the hinge of the LCD screen.
    * Top left or top right of the keyboard.

    Desktop computers:

    * On the front of the computer
    * On the bezel (frame) of the LCD for all-in-one.

We are just this announcement as a reminder that we receive a lot of messages without specified model number recently. In addition, many users have been citing the chassis instead of the model number part number - if your laptop computer is a model year more recent that 2005 model number will not begin with CCP - he will start with VGN or VPC.

  • By default the camera and the model to publish

    Hey,.

I am in a room with the console of the room.

Then I select "Default caméra" in the 'Flow' tab and click 'configure '.
Now, I choose "Viewer (10) ' as 'Model to publish' and save with 'OK '.

When I click on "Set up" once again the model 'release' is set to ' Owner (100).

Can you tell me whats wrong maybe?

What I want to achieve is that the visitors with 10 role can send their webcam.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you for this comment. There was a bug in the user interface of our side to show Owner (100) while it is Viewer (10) and vice versa as you pop - the audio Configuration dialog box / camera.

This is why you will see if you switch from an Owner (100) Publisher (50) or Viewer (10) Publisher (50), the user interface works very well.

The good news is, it was only a bug of display of the user interface, for example if you select access or publish the model to a value, let's say owner, the role will be in fact to the owner. Only when you open the new dialog box display will be wrong.

I fixed it and there is an SDK to update very soon and will be attached to that. Until then, you can ignore the question of the user interface.

    Thank you for this comment.

  • A few questions about the difference between the Satellite P70, L70, S70

    Hello, I have a lot of questions about the P70, L70, S70 series that come with a 1920 x 1080 panel.

    (1) what are the differences between the L70 and S70 series? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

    (2) P70, L70, S70 doesn't support a 2nd HARD drive or it's just the P70 series that support?

    (3) all the three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?

    (4) of the above series, which supports mSata?

    (5) all the model of each series are delivered with support from mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?

    (6) all the foregoing, are delivered with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?

    (7) who is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.

    Thank you in advance.

    > (1) what are the differences between the series L70 and S70? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

What models Sat L70 and S70 do you mean exactly? There are different L70-xxx-xxx and S70 models on the market that supports different hardware specifications.

    (> S70 2) P70, L70, support a 2nd drive HARD or is - it just the series P70 that support?
As you can see in this [Sam P70 HDD replacement document, | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3903II0000R01.htm] the P70 series supports the 2nd drive Bay HARD, BUT even if there is a 2nd HARD drive Bay, this does not mean that you can use the 2nd HARD drive. In the case where the 2nd HARD drive Bay are equipped with HARD drive connector, you can use the 2nd HARD drive

I also found the [Sam L70/S70 HDD replacement | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm] the document on the Toshiba page and there I see this 2nd HARD drive Bay is not available

(> 3) all three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?
See point 1). Different P70, L70, S70 models were equipped with different material parts.

(> 4) of the series above, which takes in charge mSata?
As far as I know that some P70 models are equipped with an mSATA SSD of 256 GB.

(> 5) do all the model of each series are delivered with support mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?
See point 4) not all models supports the same hardware specifications

(> 6) all of the above, come with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?
I don t think that SATA III is supported. I guess it would be SATA II

(> 7) which is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.
Not easy to answer because there are too many models released in Europea.
And not all models are available in each country. So I guess you will have to look for the models that have been released in your country.

  • The wireless card update

I wanted to know if there is a compatible 802.11ac wireless that would work in my laptop card?

    XH105UA #ABA

    Thank you

    Ken

Your model # is the 'white list' which only allows specific wifi cards and none is a 802.11 ac. HP gave the white list on the models released in the last 6 months or so, but too late to help you in this instance.

  • HP ENVY 13-d021nd: updated HP ENVY 13-d021nd memory

    Hello

Perhaps, I would buy HP ENVY 13-d021nd with 4 GB memory. Is it possible to upgrade to 8 GB of memory? It's the last model released in 2015! I found the specs to a PDF from 2009, but I can't find one in 2015? Some critics say that it is possible to replace/upgrade. Some say that 4 GB is the maximum...

Of course, I can find a 4 GB of SDRAM DDR3L, but not if it is possible to upgrade to 8 GB.

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings,

    Arjan

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

    Hi I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NR110E with Win 7 Ultimate SP1.

Previously, he has worked, I had to reformat my PC, because it was undesirable o full and before the format, that it worked, but now it does not recognize.
Also, my Memory Stick Reader does not work as well.

When I stand or the other of the two TI will not appear in my "My Computer".

In fact, before, I could see the little icon of memory stick and SD card, and now I can't.

But if I go to the part of the management of the material, it shows that he cannot find the device, I tried to use Windows Update and searched, and yet I can't find anything about it, I also tried the Updater of Stand-A-Lone of MS and it brings me to a similar/compatible list drivers, but the drivers for Win Vista.

  • How about this problem of latency with computers portable studio?

    Hi guys,.

After almost a year of bored on my computer laptop dell studio and its crazy latency issues I have that to give it another go at the Dell Forum. Is there any fix for this widespread problem. I am a user of windows 7 and couldn't really find a solution for this google search.

I would like to hear from you guys.

    See you soon,.

    Jon

A problem with the DPC latency issue is that it is a symptom with a number of possible causes, software and hardware. It can be caused by a bad driver written and may not even have anything to do with Dell. Or it could; I'm just pointing out some of the complexities. For example, stan_-_ wrote that he has "problems", but maybe it's having the same symptoms caused by a different problem than the problem causing the symptoms on cell phone JonHil. (stan_-_, you use the latency Checker tool. There are instructions on the web page of the tool on how to use it to isolate a pilot that could be causing the latency. Also if the latency is cyclical it is probably caused by a device or a program at specified intervals.) Most of my knowledge of the DPC latency is 2 wires:

Latency DPC Studio 1737 thread started on June 13, 2009

    and

Studio XPS 1340 latency thread started February 23, 2009

The main models that have been affected at this time were the Studio 1735 1737 Studio, Studio 1535, 1537 Studio and Studio XPS 1340 and Vostro models. Maybe Studio 1555 also.

Over the years I didn't have Dell to put a large part of its resources trying to solve the existing audio problems. They seem to release a new model of laptop once a month and probably have their hands full think of names for each of them. Once a production model without doubt they are already deeply in the development of future models. However, in this case, they seek to solve the problem, for 2 reasons in my opinion. One was that the Studio XPS line was a new line of premium that they wanted to work right, and the other is that one of the people from Dell with a sweater got involved and pleaded for a fix for 14 months. The history of it is as follows.

Dell came with a revision of BIOS (11) that fixed latency dpc on Studio XPS 1340 model, as long as the units have been configured with the Intel WLAN cards and not Dell cards (Broadcom). Encouraged by that success, the plan of engineers was to get a fix of the BIOS for the Studio 1737 and then apply that knowledge to a difficulty for other models, but that never happened. The A07 BIOS was released in September ' 09 and what it was supposed to be the fix, but it was a big flop. They re - worked and published A08 almost 3 months later. The Dell guy who was tube communication between posters and Dell engineers was Bill B, who a few months later wrote:

"The last word I got was that the 1737 has a design limitation that prevents the latency issues to be resolved. The platform is moved to a new team of engineers. The new team reached out to me for feedback on the recent release of BIOS. I knew it was in no way a solution and this thread is passed to a few comments recent choice. "(The thread of latency Studio 1737)

It was about Bill B last post on the thread. He has 13 months he wrote these words, but no Dell never returned the "new engineering team" done with the problem. My guess is that the engineers had shot their wad with A08 and just left falling on it after this - so no hope for much less later 1737 models or 1735, who have time dpc latency, but whose root cause could easily be unrelated to earlier models. As seen, the fix for the Studio XPS 1340 did translates not one difficulty for the other line Studio, so there was never a chance for a unique solution. Bill B pointed out that the models released after the Studio 1737 lacked the same latency issues designed in dpc as those before, which if true gives hope that, on later models this is a driver or a problem with wireless.

One thing that came out of all that was that some wireless network adapters are a source of dpc latency regardless because there are other cases on the same computer. The worst offenders are the brand of cards (Broadcom), in particular the Dell from Dell 1515.

Of interest, there is also a workaround for the Studio 1737 developed by DJQuartz, which is to suspend the ACPI under Win XP using Process Explorer. Some people got it to work in Vista and 7 with process Hacker. The engineering team is convinced that the dpc latency was caused by the physical design of the card system, but Bill B thought they were wrong because of the DJQuartz.

Another solution was to create a hackintosh running Apple OSX on the Studio 1737. It worked because "DPC" is a Windows procedure (which creates a lot of latency with a poorly written driver) is not in the Apple OS or Linux. If you want to buy a Mac, you can try this. The problem will be in obtaining drivers for your computer that you can install.

    So to summarize:

    > There are different causes of latency dpc even on the same model as the others, much less through the lines or brands of manufacturers - is not only a problem of Dell

    > there are still uncertainties about the fundamental nature of all the underlying causes of the problem

    > there are some causes that Dell just doesn't know how to fix despite a lot of time and effort - you should read the thread of latency Studio 1737 together to get a feel for the amount of effort

    > there is no hope of a Dell solution on existing models, in my opinion (I may be wrong)

    > some of the causes are user serviceable.  A few months ago DJQuartz reported that the dpc latency spikes are now under control the sound Studio 1737 even without using his circumvention of ACPI, with the latest drivers and BIOS revisions. There the last Chipset of Intel wireless network adapter and drivers touchpad. It is still using XP is the best Windows OS for audio work.

  • Why these three images have been refused?

Hello and thanks for your input in advance.

I am new and learning (aren't we all). Get sales good acceptance so far - and got two in my first week. But here are three images that have been refused, and I need to know why specifically that I wouldn't do it again - to, at best, a way to make these three acceptable images.

Image #1: Decreased for model output. But the boy's head is turned on. You can not see his face.

Image #2: Refused to out of focus. Where? I went in there to more than 200% and can not see sweetness--more than that caused by the extreme zoom-in, that is.

Image #3: Refused for technical reasons. What technical reasons? Too general to be of any use in my future considerations. In addition, I more similar images in this series and don't want to continue to do the 'bad' thing.

    Thank you once again.

Thanks for writing. The first image you definitely need a version of model of. Even if you do not see the entire face of the child, it is clearly identifiable. You will be best to err on the side of caution and get a model release if it isn't even a slight possibility that the person may be recognized.

The 2nd image, if it is sharp at 100% the moderator could have chosen the wrong reason rejected. Images is a subjective process, so you can find different opinions. Personally, I'm not crazy about the composition of the image. I feel as the statue is a bit underexposed and the sky is a funky and unnatural color. I don't see this as having a lot of potential for stock unfortunately.

The last picture... again, this is a subjective process. In my view, that the overall picture is not attractive. In general, the image seems to be a little muddy and needs more pop, ask yourself what a customer would buy this image for.

I hope that you will find the best of success with your future downloads.

I have a license to a picture of a young girl who does not seem to be part of a traditional photo shoot. I can't use this picture unless this girl or a guardian is aware that its image is sold. Is there a way I can communicate with the contributor, so I can confirm that the photographer has obtained a model release before using his image?

  • When the VCAP-DCD and VCAP-DCA examinations for vSphere 5.0 will be available for registration?

I'm a VCP5, I can't take the VCAP-DCD and DCA for vSphere 4.0 right? If the ideas when VMware will release the version 5.0 VCAP-DCD and DCA reviews? Thank you very much!

    Hello

I asked the team of certification at VMworld on release dates and got a very vague answer. So far, there had been no mention of the beta exams VCAP nor is the same model released so I don't see it to become available before the end of February, which as noted Simon is a real shame that this means that all the VCP4 and VCAP4 holders must make the VCP5 in order to save to the Whats New course as a prerequisite. For the cost of the reviews, I think it's a real slap in the face to those who have spent time and money, get a number of certifications. Also there is no official decision of if you go the VCAP5 you will have your VCP4 improved to 5. So although validations who says that have been deleted.

I booked my VCP5 because of this lack of news and ability to upgrade and I'm seriously considering not even reviews of VCAP5 because it takes a lot of time, money and effort to get to them and then VMware take forever to even keep up to date on how it's going or if there will be any sort of upgrade.

I say VMware as a show of thanks for those who have spent so much time getting VCAP4 accreditations gives a 50% discount good for the VCAP5.

I've built a whole page of resources that I use for my VCP5 if you are interested, here: http://thesaffageek.co.uk/vcp5/

Also a page for the resources of VCAP5 here: http://thesaffageek.co.uk/vcap5-dca-dcd/

  • NetApp OnTap 7 G and ESX 4 support?

Customer has an IBM NS5600 of brand running Ontap 7.3.1.1.  I have a hard time knowing if 7.3.1.1 supports the ESX 4?  Between IBM and Netapp, the support sites aren't helping anything.

If someone can post the link to the ontap compatibility list, that would be cool, but a simple 'yes' or "upgrade to version x" would work too.
