Module NI 9403 terminal State after the beginning of task

Hi all

We have some problems with a relay connected to the NI 9403 module card. There are probably a few Chin-ups correct definition outputs during the initialization of the 9403 (high logic out the relay).

After feeding the 9403, no relay are activated, which is good. If the default value of the input terminal has no consequences.

However, directly after the Start the task defining the outputs as 9403 (without writing again to real data), all relays are activated. This behavior is independent of the 'InvertLines' property and thus independent of the default logic level.

My question: what happens with the terminal type (and the input impedance) during the market and directly after starting the task to DO? Does it change to a situation of three States? And he leaves the tri - state after writing the first data word?

Can we resolve this problem by adding 4 k 7 pullup to the terminals?

Thanks for the help!

Martin

Hello Martin,

The best way to solve this problem is to use a pull-up resistance. Then, you can start the task unit and lines appear at the bottom. The lines have a nominal input of 50kOhm impedance. And not the 9403 does not work in a sort state.

I hope that the resistance will solve your problem! I will close this topic at the moment, but if you find any problems or have any other questions, please keep posting on this subject.

  • Front Panel hangs after the beginning of the routine

    Hello

I am writing an application that looks a bit like that fixed. The idea is to have a Setup mode after the beginning of the program, where you can enter all the data to specify a test routine. In the first loop representing the configuration mode, I have an event structure that is pretty huge, in fact, because it represents a contextual help for my program, I added. After clicking on the Start button (which is possible only when some tabs from the tab control are selected), I turn off and the Start button gray. After that puts it on, there are several automatic modes and a manual control which are selected depending on the active tab.

In this mode, the front suddenly freezes i.e. no control will react to my entry.

I programmed this sample program to get because of the problem. It seems that there is a problem when using local variables and the switch until released action. The problem was solved when I selected the switch when you press mode.

I applied the same changes in VI I develop, but the problem still remains.

  • XP hangs sometime after the beginning

After starting XP and leaving running normally, without using the PC, the taskbar appears to freeze and the clock stops, it's sometimes after the PC has been maintained for at least half an hour. Press Start to closing or other icons on the desktop displays the hourglass and the only way to turn off is to use the power button. Also sometimes during the boot of startup process does not seem to fill because some icons are missing from the taskbar, near the clock. No error message is displayed.

The PC is less than a year, Dell Latitude and I use Norton 360 antivirus updated and run at least twice a week.

    Original title: Vista processor

Stupid Vista goes to 50% CPU usage and connects the computer for hours after the start.  Cannot run anything with any request of CPU without getting bogged down and crashing.  It is not windows defender, I suspend this service and the machine is ok for another 1/2 hour, them I'm up to 50% of the CPU.  The idle process said Task Manager is > 90%, still indicates 50% CPU usage and the cooling fan looks like a 747 taking off.  Should I just pull the machine and go for Linux, or what?  Cannot run games or whatever it is, totally disgusted with vista of POS and microsoft can it Deep and do not get windows 7, it is probably worse.  Is that all I can turn off to get the same performance than, say, windows 3.1?  It would be preferable to the current situation.  MSCKMA.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you have data in C$ then next step would be to check the data loaded in I$ table. I can see screenshots that you set the false Frother so that your data can not go to E$. PS please check where your data falls to C$ I $ loading.

You can restart the interface and you can set the property 'drop of temporary objects' false so that C$ I $ table not deleted and are there for analysis.

It can be used in many ways to say the button to toggle - as long as the

    attached.

Put in a framescript, like this:
(assuming that the button is spritechannel 1)

    or

Put into a script attached to the sprite button, like this:

    property spriteNum
    on beginSprite me
    sendsprite (spriteNum, #toggle, true)
    end

    A simple test:
    -start the movie

-write: sendsprite (1, #toggle, true), then press on return

  • Satellite P100 freezes a few minutes after the beginning

    Hi all!

Im having a little problem with my satellite. When I start my computer its TI all ok, but after 5-6 minutes, always do the same thing. The screen freezes and it is impossible to do antyhing. My computer is only 2 years old. My guess is that the cpu is overheating, but I'm not sure. Maybe problems with the fans or just for more dust.

-Does anyone know if it could be another hardware problem that makes the computer freezes? Also when I try to just start all over again it freezes in 1-2 mnutes.

    Hello

It could be overheating but maybe memory dysfunctions?
After 2 years of work from the laptop cooling modules might not turn with maximum performance and so the CPU cannot be cooled correctly
so you could check if the fan cleaning grids will help a little to avoid freezing.

Additional test memory. There are several tools to test memory like MemTest or Memtest 86. These tools are free!

  • Computer hangs or freezes a few minutes after the beginning

    Hi all

I hope someone has the knowledge to help me.

    I have a Dell Vostro 1500, Vista Business x 32 installed.

    In the last days:

    * On a normal startup, the computer hangs after a few minutes.
I get either 'failure-security options' pop up or the computer crashes only the operation of the pointer.
The blue off the Task Manager CPU usage hard drive light will goes from 0 to 1% and stays there.

I was able to copy information from a pop up that says I was saved from a fall BSOD:
    Signature of the problem:
    Problem event name: bluescreen
    OS version: 6.06002.2.2.0.256.6
    Locale ID: 1033

    More information about the problem:

    BCP4: 82A5FC30
    OS version: 6_0_6002
    Service Pack: 2_0
    Product: 256_1

    * No problem starting and running programs and internet with ' SafeMode w / networking. "

    * The only thing I added was a Microsoft Update in the last days.
I tried to do a system restore, but there is no system restore point.
I used the restore of the system about 3 weeks there due to the other Microsoft Update was also causing startup problems.
I didn't knowingly clear Points of system restore or turn off System Restore.

    * I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and I got quarantined {PUP. Optional.Sanbreel.A, PUP. Optional.Sanbreel.A, PUP. Optional.Instacore.A, PUP. Optional.Hold.A}

    * I ran AVAST antivirus recently with no viruses listed, but not in the last days.

    * Chkdsk fixed drive C by removing some entries and fixed a couple of bad sectors.

    * sfc/scannow to block exactly 82% and I had to make a compromise difficult stop.

If someone is knowledgeable on how to correct the situation described above, please answer!

Perhaps it would be better for me to all my files on a memory stick or external hard drive simply copy and then reload Vista? Is there a disadvantage in doing this?

This way you do not uncover what caused the problem and you might find that you still have a problem.

so I can only perform simple tests troubleshooting with confidence.

It's exactly what I mean do you. You follow the instructions, the information and I tell you what to do next. Ads simple as one of the meercats said in the TV. You get a bonus in this way you improve your knowledge of the works of your computer.

Please download and run ADWCleaner and download a copy of the report produced for your OneDrive. Delete everything it finds. :

I suggest you take the precaution to create a system restore point before running ADWCleaner, guard against unintended consequences. Select Start, Control Panel, system, System Protection, and then click the create button.

    I recommend the following:

    (1) that the display automatically to test an Action step rather than a step for success/failure and set to square one local variable to see if the LCD self-test failed (for example Locals.AutomatedLCDFailed).

    (2) create a new test pass/fail (using the no adapter) that takes both the variable local and entry of the user account to determine it is the condition for success/failure (for example to set the data source of the step to an expression like:!) () Locals.AutomatedLCDTestFailed & Locals.UserLCDTestFailed)

As an alternative to do 1) a step of the Action you can leave a step for success/failure and clear step on it to "step failure causes failure of sequence. You can then use the status of this step instead of Locals.AutomatedLCDTestFailed. The only difference is that the automated test will always be displayed as failed in your report, although the sequence can still be passed. It is somewhat a matter of preference.

    Hope this helps,

a push of button in the GUI I need one analog reading from a single channel. I firstly to stop the first task, and then create the next task, read and erase and stop it.

This function is also called via a timer to get a temperature and a resistivity of reading. The timer calls are interested in the temperature and the pressure of the button wants the resistivity.

Its the same function but can be called at two different instances. I put in a thread variable secure to ensure that he expects to be each other before reading again. It crashes right away,

It blocks randomely at about the 6th or 7th instance of analog read.

My first guess after reading the forum LABVIEW on ni.com, is that he doesn't like when I start and disable the task over and over again. Here is the fucntion is called with a handshake goes, but the

key to watch is the analog read. The handshake stops the task running in the thread momentarily to analog playback and then it starts again.

I use v9.0 CVI. I use the USB DAQ 6259. The "BOLD" area below is where the error occurs.

He was crashing at the same point over and over again. Essentially, in order to reproduce this scenario, you have a thread that is running with a task that runs continuously, so you want to stop and

start a new task with a single read analogue.

Could you go through this list of 7 possible causes (of the knowledge base) and see if any of those who are causing it?
