  Hello anne, you already have the latest version of firefox installed - these popups are probably a tactic of scam trying to trick you by installing more malware, to not download or run this kind of stuff! just download firefox from its official site at mozilla.org - more updates are managed automatically by firefox if you do not have to download or run .exe files (you can run a check of updates of firefox > help > about firefox).

  If you get unwanted opening pages it is also a sign of already active on your computer of malware. Please do the following

  1. Reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. then go to firefox > addons > extensions and where there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

• How do you see your bookmarks if you have a Web site open?

  It doesn't seem to be any drop-down menu or the button to display your bookmarks while you are browsing Web sites. I have to close all the tabs, and then there is a bar at the top that says bookmark. It is not very practical when you're in the middle of the navigation.   It cannot be the cause of your immediate problem, but I suggest strongly that you disable/remove your plug-in popular screensavers - a part of the troublesome MindSpark family.

  ... In fact I think I have solved this. Unistalled Firefox again, then on a search I found a few Firefox files I deleted and I reinstalled and it seems to be ok now.

  User for messages settings are in the user's library > folder of containers:

  ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.mail

  If you want to experiment with: Mail to quit.

  When I open Outlook 'My documents' keeps opening a widow in the middle of the screen. I ran norton several times and it stops for a day or two that is starting to happen again.   Yes, you saved a document as your default template (normal.dot).

  If you have not done any customizations in your normal template, simply delete normal.dot "C:\Documents and Settings\utilisateur\Application Data\Microsoft\Modèles" and Word will create an empty model by default.  You must do it with all instances of closed Word.  "Username" is your Windows login name.

  If you do not see file name extensions in Windows Explorer (i.e., .dot), click on the Tools menu, then Folder Options, then the view tab.  Uncheck the box for "Hide extensions of known file types".

  If you have made any customizations, simply open "C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\normal.dot", delete the text, and save it again.

  The device driver can say Arcsoft because it may have provided to Microsoft by them.
  In Device Manager, open the Properties window for the drive, and then click the driver tab, then update driver...  Click the search selection automatically. If it finds a driver, let it install.

  If the drive still cycles, then you can have a bad drive. If it is still under warranty, contact the place of repair for repair or replacement.
