Monitor 22xi Pavilion lightens and darkens by itself

I see that it happened to others, but what was the result?  Is there a solution to this problem, or is it just something wrong with the monitor?

Thank you very much for your advice, but none of them worked.  Resumes the monitor to retailers whose people tec tested in their terms, and said he "was completely goosed!  10 days of life is not very good HP, but I took the chance and replaced by another Pavilion in the hope that the last of them was a model of 'Friday ';

The sound on my laptop works fine until I connect it via HDMI to a monitor HP Pavilion 24xw.  Then the sound disappears.  If I disconnect it, the sound comes back.

I tried to go to the 'Sound' of the control panel section.  There are two options:

    HP 24xw

The default value is Realtek speakers.  When I use the test installation my laptop plays the sound test.  I've updated to the latest version of the driver.

  • Two monitors of Pavilion P6610f

A previous post on this topic left unanswered question of the user.    I have a Pavilion p6610f product #BM417AA #ABA.  Given that this machine has both a output VGA AND DVI output, it is possible to have TWO monitors (working simultaneously) provided that a monitor is analog (VGA) and the other monitor is digital (DVI)?  I didn't "want to go to the load of the material, if only one of the two monitors can be used at a time.  Thank you.

The chipset on the motherboard is able to handle two monitors. And I found this on the motherboard page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02560084

Integrated graphics: concomitant use of DVI and VGA ports is supported.

So, Yes, it seems to support the two ports.

  • 22xi Pavilion: Pavilion 22xi

I have two monitors 22Xi, side-by-side, bought about a year apart. The OSD menus are a little dfferent, especially under "control of the Image. The settings are perfect, and as identical as I can possibly make, EXCEPT, the new monitor can't go to a deep black solid, how can an older. I played with brightness, contrast, color, control etc.. Whatever I do, made black monitor the most recent is closer to a 'coal' black night.

    Hi there @ShimonDI-NY

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand you have two views of the same model bought a year apart and with the same settings, the most recent display is brighter. I'm happy to help you with this.

There are two possible issues here:

    1. the backlight on a older lamp deteriorated slightly over time

    2. There is a slight difference in one of the components (tolerances specified error) and she translates the a lamp being slightly brighter

I would just turn down the brightness of the screen a little more recent, and you should be good.

Let me know if this helps.

  • No signal between Pavilion dv4 and TV with HDMI cable

    Hello

I have a Pavilion dv4 and a Samsung Smart TV. Two days ago, I was enjoying happily successful between the two with a connection cable HDMI. Now, the connection no signal. Here are some facts:

-The correct TV settings are selected.

-I don't think it's a problem of cable, as the cable and TV connection to a different device port work.

-When I shut down the computer and restart, the image of the start screen appears on the TV, but the computer screen is black. Then the TV goes black and the screen with my password. So, if I unplug and re - plug the HDMI cable, I get the error "no signal".

-I am tired on the installation of plug-ins or drivers because the connection work successfully only two days ago (although I will say that there are updates installed between the last time that the connection was successful and now). But if this is what will fix the problem, then I'm game.

I'd like opinions and advice. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I connect HDMI permanently to a screen (TV, IE) and I use the monitor 2 only. Everything turns on the external display.

    Kind regards.

  • How lighten (or darken) Sections of the images!

    Hello

I've transferred a video (which has been converted to a bunch of reel 8mm I think a long time ago) Pro via a DV connection.  I recorded all of the duration of the video directly in Pro (like setting: 32 audio DV), and it's on my computer as an .avi file.  So, I just wanted to know:

    1. This is my MAIN question - is there a way to now lighten or darken only certain sections of this video (on the timeline) - that some of the images of the late - 1940s is very dark (or light quite a few times too)?

and 2.  What setting should I use to export to burn on a DVD (I actually not burned the sequences of Pro on DVD yet)!

    Thank you very much..

If I understand the situation, then just cut your Clip, sequences and apply / adjustment of the correction of the effects to each segment, say the levels or fast color corrector.

I would be first to experiment with the effects (such as those mentioned above), until you have found the one that gives you the control you need, then apply on the Clip complete, uncut, make these cuts and then perform the individual to each according to needs adjustments.

If you find adjustments, between segments, a little discordant, then just add a crossfade between the segments.

    Good luck

    Hunt

  • Re: Tecra S5 - 15 q - monitor display lines vertical and error 43 for GPU

After about 5 years my Tecra S5 is experiencing problems with its graphics.
Most of the time the (internal and connected an external via VGA) monitor displays vertical lines, and windows gives an error 43 on the map.

I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem, and if this problem could be solved under warranty (although the protohistory of the warranty expired 3 years ago.) .

In my opinion, it is bad material work and as far as I know only way to fix it is motherboard Exchange. I n t have this model of laptop, but I can presume that the GPU is fixed on the motherboard and cannot be traded separately.

    Fixed under warranty? Of course.
