monitor gets black screen

My monitor guard rethink a black screen when I turn on my computer, basically when I turn it on I see start for half a second, then I get the black screen while my monitor is always on

Now, I recently built a computer, put it a few days ago the same thing happens, I didn't install anything don't not even windows 7 yet, but when I turn on the computer I get the black screen again, I can not install windows

My brother and his friend think it is the graphics card, but when I built my new computer black screen continued to occur. If I turn my screen I can see my screen for half a second, and then it just goes black again.

Yes I checked the cables for the monitor, I have even plugged into my laptop, and the same thing happened to the monitor

So I was wondering... What is the cause of the problem? my brother think that theres something wrong with the new parts, I think it's the monitor that is causing the black screen and I have to buy another... What is it?

Hello

Since the monitor displays the same black screen after connecting to a laptop, this might be a problem with the monitor. Contact the manufacturer of the monitor on this issue.

I'm looking for a solution for this problem for almost 3 months now. My Aspire 7520 when tuned to just gives me a black screen. I took out the battery and held the power button down / stop and always the same. I also made sure that the fan has been free of dust and is runnig and I hear that it is trying to load, and now when I turn it off it is itself so I have to remove the battery all together.

If you get either of the image on an external monitor, it could very well be a video card problem or a problem with the motherboard.  You should contact your local service centre Acer for assistance.

    Hello

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel
-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all hotfix is usually a hit or miss
base. That there is no information on a black screen as there is just a blue screen
adds to the difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect.
You can try a google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these

  • renamed authui.dll and get black screen

Hi, last night I tried to make a customization of my computer, browsing the internet I found a bootlogon authui.dll from a trusted site. After taking possession of the original file and rename it to authui.dll.backup I could not make any change or copy a new to the system 32 folder. Once I restarted my pc to try to fix it by going into safe mode but the back is going in any mode the vista loading bar appears but then I get a black screen with the cursor and I don't get logons or whatever it is, keep it just like that. so is it possible to fix this or get a window command prompt in the start menu so I can rename my file in normal.i will be really grateful for your response. Sorry for my English

    Hello

Have you tried selecting mode safe mode with command prompt from the start menu? Otherwise, you could try to load the Recovery Console by starting with your Vista disc. (If you do not, see:http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/). From there a system restore can also be a solution.

  • Repair installation fails on Windows 7 and get black screen

I put in a repair disc and then I put in a disk to reboot and did he pulled upwards so that I had to do a reboot but got black screen saying something was not so tempted excessible to esc but used left me tried to restart again and it will not restart please help running windows7 64 bit

This is usually caused by hardware or software that is not compatible with Windows 7. If you have this problem, follow these steps:

Wait about 10 minutes to see if the installation continues. Look at the led on the hard drive (often a small light on your computer that blinks when your hard drive is running) to see if there is no activity. If your hard drive seems to be working, the installation must be current. If your hard disk doesn't seem to work, go to step 2.

Uninstall all antivirus software, and then restart your computer. Don't forget to enable antivirus software after you install Windows.

If the installation fails again, it may be a hardware incompatibility problem. Go to the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on the Microsoft website to see if your computer can run Windows 7.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

  • After playing the game the Sims 2, impossible to shut down the computer, get black screen

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I recently installed the Sims 2 DVD Edition. The game itself works very well. He's not planting or lag or cause my computer is turned off. I can walk much and create characters; what I noticed is that some of the sound effects play, which is minimal.
However, after playing the game and I'm going to shut my computer down, the screen just goes black and the computer stays on. The processor will run nothing will work. The computer just stays, but the screen remains black. He doesn't even go to the "shutting down" screen or anything. Straight black. I let it stay like that for 15 minutes just to see if maybe, it was just to take some time, but the computer still shuts.
It normally stops if I do not play Sims 2.
Original title: Sims 2 causing my computer does not shut down properly?

Help would be appreciated, because I'd really like to be able to play Sims 2! If one of the expansion packs resolves that it be so. Anything to solve this problem!

  • Get a black screen BIOS afer and before Windows logon

So get a black screen after BIOS and before the Windows logon screen. I checked the RAM and one on two RAM sticks that was bad. But I still have the black screen. I tried an external monitor but still a black screen. I tried all the normal things (verification of the restore point disc, e.g. via the command prompt, startup repair, etc.) and no luck. I ran a test to check the hard drive, and it is impossible to find the hard drive. But then I ran AVG anti-virus, the AVG Live (bootable CD) and at the very start gave me this error: 106 error to the power of disk on life: 8768 (365 days + 8 hours) and underneath were basically the same error, just different numbers. But it still allowed me to run a scan and he was going through the files ok so she did not see the hard drive and files (contrary to the test of hard drive and yes the hard drive test was a bootable cd of same manf. like the hard drive), he found no virus. Even when I ran Defender in offline mode. Then I tried to re - install the operating system on the same drive with a cd. When he was going through the first part of the establishment where it was drivers and so forth: I kept getting the BSOD. Then I took the drive from the laptop and install it in another laptop but she has done the same thing, black screen, so I thought it was the hard drive. But then I begin another hard drive from the laptop and put it in the laptop original and he gave me the black screen and I know that the hard drive was good, she was an operating system that starts when I put it in the not troubled laptop. So any ideas anyone? Would it be possible that the all three things at once: RAM and hard drive laptop motherboard? Any help would be appreciated. Yet once, bios starts, just to Gets a black screen and does nothing after the bios but before the windows logon. The operating system is Vista and it is a Dell laptop, Studio. Any ideas?
