Monitor the temperature

Is there a utility by Lenovo that shows you in real time what temperature is the MB and other?

Lenovo does not offer such a utility, but you can try ThinkPad Fan Control:

or Notebook Hardware Control:

I hope this helps.

  • S1900-303 monitoring CPU temperature

    Hello

I am aware that others have asked similar questions... but are - someone out there who knows if I can monitor the temperature of the CPU on my S1900-303...?

BIOS (updated Toshiba) give no indication of power management (sensors, etc.) ... I was browsing the web and downloaded several S/W (MBMonitor, MBProbe, SpeedFan etc)... but they do not seem to detect anything!

According to Intel (got a P4 2 GHz CPU) there is a sensor in the chip.
    Any suggestions/ideas

    Yiannis salvation,

Sounds strange! I searched the net and found some interesting links. These sites told me that the CPU on a 1900 Satellite temperature monitoring should be possible, so the problem is that no official statement from Toshiba!

You wrote that the laptop had detected the probe temperature, so in my opinion, the version of the BIOS disabled this feature! Two suggestions: first of all it must wait for a new update of the BIOS of Toshiba and hoping that the feature is turned on again or secondly take old BIOS and do a downgrade from the BIOS!

  • Satellite A210 - 11 p: how to monitor CPU temperature

    Hello

I bought a laptop Satellite A210 - 11 p in January this year, I'm very happy with it.
Anyone know how I can monitor the temperature of the processor?

As the fan speed increases and decreases, I fear that the laptop heat up.
I supoose it's normal, I use the laptop on a desk, so it isn't a problem with the air flow.

Any advice would be grately appreciated
    Thank you

I use the Everest Home edition application. It monitors and provides details on the temperature of the processor and HARD drive.

    > As the fan speed increases and decreases, I fear that the laptop heats up.
You are right. The speed of the fan depends on the internal temperature. According to the use of the laptop, the temperature increases and decreases.

To be honest I don t see any problems and it is normal behavior.
So relax and enjoy your laptop ;)

  • Satellite M30 - is the temperature of the CPU ok?

I do a portable M30 growing for a friend and I noticed that the CPU temperature is between 55-72 ° C. I installed an app called sensorsview that monitors the temperature of the CPU.

This site indicates the maximum temperature for processors Pentium M is 100 ° C, but does not specify the average (it is 1.7 GHz and Centrino). Does anyone know what should be the + average? +

    Hello

First of all I m a little carful with this type of material followed tools regarding the temperature of the CPU. I mean that if everything is ok, the laptop will not shut itself or something else. In my opinion these tools may not can read the temperature correctly.

In any case, 72 ° C is in my opinion a little too high. You should try to clean the laptop. I guess there are a lot of dust in the radiator. Use the jet of compressed air to clean the laptop, it can blow out the dust.
This is why you should not disassemble the laptop so it of pretty easy to use.

  • read the temperature of the chassis of a cRIO in Scan Mode?

I am trying to create a section for monitoring my VI which monitors the status of the cRIO 9022 and backplane (9104) I use. I understood how monitor memory, CPU utilization, and the input power voltage.

I know that you can monitor the temperature of the chassis using the FPGA options, but I want to keep my cRIO in Scan mode. Is it possible to access the scan mode chassis temperature probe?

I found the solution I was looking for. NOR has built a VI to get the temperature of the cRIO, but it's not easy to find or in the open air.

    It is located here:

    c:\Program Files\LabVIEW 8.6\examples\CompactRIO\Controller Specific\9022 voltage and temperature Monitor\cRIO-902 x Support files

"The cRIO-902 x Support Files" is a library that contains 2 VI is used for the sub - VI voltage monitor, and a third VI called "get Council Temperature.vi.

Drop in the cRIO app and the Vi shows the temperature of the CPU cRIO in ° C card.

  • Satellite X 205-S9349 - Question on the temperature of the GPU

    Hello

    I bought a * Satellite X 205 - S9349 * 10 months ago a recently installed a temperature monitor for the nVidia 8700 M GT card. When using 3d modeling applications, I recorded the average temperature in * 97 degrees Celsius *.

The computer translates a temperature idling of * 60 degrees *. The computer is present in an air-conditioned room, which is in the average temperature is * 19 degrees *.

What's the normal functioning of the X 205-S9349 temperature when it is at full load?

This temperature may harm my computer?

Is that what I can do to reduce the temperature without voiding the warranty offered by Toshiba?

    Thanks in advance,
    Pabst

PS: I stalled the back of my computer to the top so that air can easily circulate through the bottom.

    Hi Pabst

In my opinion there is no reason to panic. If you use the original display driver laptop Toshiba is protected and if the laptop will not appear at the level of the critical temperature will stop automatically to avoid damaging the material.

With rear shoring is great idea. Sometimes I do the same. The laptop can be cooled much better. And one more thing: don't always believe that show these third party applications.

    Good luck!

  • Qosmio G30 - there a way to display the temperature of the graphics card?

    Hello

I've got Qosmio G30-10B. Anyone know if it is possible to obtain information on the graphics processor (GPU) temperature, unit? It has nVidia Go 7600 graphics card. Unfortunately, the nTune doesn't display the temperature. Any other application that could do the trick?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Temperature, GPU monitoring tool? hmm I know on some graphics cards nVidia, you can find this information in the properties of the graphics card. But I m not sure if it of possible to see in the properties of the graphics card for laptops.

On my desktop PC, I have installed applications RivaTuner. This tool is amazing, and you can control the various GPU parameters. But note!
This tool is can change many settings of GPU and if anyone has any experience can damage the graphics card. So don t change anything if you don't know what you're doing!

  • Monitoring of temperature for free software

    Hello

I have the HP TouchSmart 310-1124F office running on Windows 7 and did have PKU overheating problems. I finally understood what was wrong. The fan. The processor was 74 degrees when I played a DVD music while capturing the music with Roxio Creator 2011 Pro.

I placed a regular fan behind the unit and it worked, no overheating problem. I therefore bought a double external fan from Amazon that I stuck to the back of the unit before the two events and had no problem of overheating more.  What I'm looking for now is a software program monitoring CPU temperature free without any malware. Someone on this site a site recommended and I forgot the name, but he had tons of malware and was of no use to me. If I saw him I would remember the name. All the free sites out there? Thank you., John

    Normally, I would recommend "Speedfan".

Even we connected different thermometers, we get the same value of temperature in all digital screens. Could you please help us to monitor the values of different temperature on the digital display.

    Hey Auntie,

I think what you're looking for is the VI "Split Signals", pictured below in the code snippet. It allows you to divide the data cable into each of the corresponding thermocouple data values.

For chipset temp, nVidia System Monitor, part of nVidia System Tools (no need to install the other two parts of system tools), also works well that's a bit inflated to install compared to HWMonitor.  On the positive side, it can display only what you want above the other windows in the small Panel.  "GPU" is the place for the good temp video integrated chipset or motherboard no matter what the choice is.

To do this use HWMonitor (free and recommended) or Aida64.
