Monitoring of calls

I have a user who has requested a feature that he found on the Cisco CUCM documentation.  He wants to have all calls from and to an external number appear.  The configuration guide shows that this is possible, but it looks that I need extra hardware (recorder) and phones of type 79xxG.  Are there other things that are needed.  Is there a low-cost solution or method to support the demand for a single user?

Currently, we use

The system version: 6.1.3.3190 - 1

Thank you!

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

We have two types of registration

(1) SPAN record function

(2) IP Phone BIB base record (also called silent recording)

For the silence you record basically need following

(1) IP phone which has a BIB (Build in Bridge)

(2) Server CUCM

(3) sip Trunk to registration server

(4) registration server (third party).

For the Cisco solution, if you CUE you can live record. Or if you have the connection of the unit you can live record.

  • Shift the image with connected external monitor

    Hi all.

My old external monitor just called it a day, so I bought a new. A U28D590 of Samsung 4 k. pretty lousy video quality compared to my old, but I can live with, I got it for next to nothing.

The big problem is the poor 'speed of feeling. " mouse cursor movement is undoubtedly lag compared to the internal screen (I use the copying video, so I can compare the screens in real time). Not much, but certainly enough to drive me crazy enough. This request veeery mouse movements delicate, almost like with an old PC if you know what I'm talking about, otherwise I 'miss' buttons and other things GUI I want to click because I overcompensate my movements, so to speak.

The monitor is connected through HDMI. I read things about HDMI not providing the highest possible refresh. I expect better results if I connect via Thunderbolt/DisplayPort? If so, I would need an adapter mini-DP and DP. This card must meet specific requirements?

My question is not similar to the questions of others since my internal screen is behaving properly. Any ideas?

(If you have an idea, please do not check your answer as "good response" before checking with me, thank you.)

mouse cursor movement is undoubtedly lag

It's counterintuitive, but the most common cause for follow-up of the mouse lag ' uses in all cycles CPU ", does NOT slow updating the display.

Try to run CPU screen activity showing all processes, or to download and run a report of etrecheck .

  • Height of the monitor does not bar tasks

I am currently implementing a window full screen (such as viewing a PowerPoint slideshow).  I need the actual height of the resolution of the screen that the taskbar is present, visible, shown on the right edge up/down/left, etc.  My program allows the user to drag the window to any monitor before calling mode full screen, so I need the screen resolution that my main table sits on.  I can get the ID of the main panel monitor and use GetMonitorAttribute to return the height and width, but this function will return the 'doable' screen size that does not include the taskbar.

Is there a way to get the actual resolution of a particular monitor?  If not, is there a way to determine if the task bar is visible, which monitors them it is, and how big it is?

  • Built EXE calling not DLL

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with an EXE that I built. I made a very simple VI to track the problem, but without success. I have a set of PCI cards. I have a high level dll that I make calls in LV8.5 and there's a lot of lower level of the dll that, in my view, that this higher level dll use (recursive?).

In any case, I'm building a vi that uses the call library function node to initalise the PCI cards. This does not require anything to be passed to the dll and works a treat in LV then, I built an EXE file. The first time through LV had a fit because I had not included the lower level dll, and he began to oppose with various error messages. I then included these DLL in the build and hey presto got an exe without any warnings. When I run the EXE I get no errors or warnings (which is great), but in fact I don't get anything - cards PCI initalise not (which is not so great). I know this because you can hear a bunch of relays turn on and off when the PCI cards are initalised.

As I said works very well as a vi but not once it is built as an EXE file.

    Pointers?

    Dr. Phil.

You monitor the CALL LIBRARY error output?

If this isn't the case, you should.

How you specify the path to the DLL in the function of LIBRARY CALL?

Is it a relative path or an absolute path or just a DLL name?

  • my monitor keeps jumping around her sparkles

my old monitor just stop working and I got another dell monitor and now it flickers and jumps around, is something wrong with my hard drive or what

    Hello

    1. What is the model of the monitor?

It may be a few causes for the flashing screen:

    (a) check that the cables are properly connected to the monitor.
    (b) check the display settings on the computer.
    (c) check the resolution of the screen.
    (d) drivers for display adapter must be updated.

Flicker can be a problem on CRT monitors. LCD monitors (also called flat screens) do not create flicker.

    Please follow the steps below.

    Method 1:

Follow the steps mentioned in the links below.

The task manager has two graphics and I can change to/from the "one graph per cpu and one graph, all CPUs" in the options display, although that I thought she should have 4 graphics; which is logical that the CPU has 4 wires, so should have 4 graphics.

Any ideas? I tried msconfig and reset the number of processors, but then it resets the memory to 2 GB so I have to reset that and restart it to recognize all the 6 GB of ram. but then my cpu is a nucleus! It seems that I have a dual core cpu and 2 GB of RAM or a simple core cpu and 6 GB ram! ATM I'm on a single processor core with 6 GB of ram. I think the only thing I can do is reset the cpu in msconfig and reboot and see if it works, but then it will set the RAM to 2 GB. I 'afraid' to uncheck the CPU and RAM at the same time, incase of my laptop computer won't load at all. What do you think?

It is not too much a problem; If I had only 2/3 GB of RAM, then it would be a problem, would be just nice to have my CPU dual core of return!

As always, I would be really grateful for any help with it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  • Satellite M30-107: WPA and WEP security software

I want to connect my Satellite M30-107 P - M 745 to a network of wifi MIMO inverters to date.
I bought a router and a PCMCIA adapter.
I wish security WPA and WEP setup - I need any special software Toshiba on the PC itself to do so, or simply use the software that came with the router and adapter card?
    Thank you

    Hello

There is no software Toshiba for the WLAN settings. Toshiba has created the only monitoring software called ConfigFree. By using this software, you can watch the WLAN and LAN connections. This software can also help you identify a connectivity problem if occurs.

Back to your question: for WLAN settings, you can use the standard Windows WLAN settings or use WLAN data by software adapter settings. Please, make sure the wireless network adapter supports WEP and WPA encryption and also make sure you use the right settings on the router.

  • Bad screen refresh rate shown under Vista - Satellite P100-429

    Hello

I have a Satellite P100-429. There are three weak, I install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, but now the highest of screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. I tried to download the latest drivers for the graphics card, but this will not work and the computer also says that the monitor is called generic PNP.

Before Vista has a 100 Hz screen refresh rate and monitor had his screen Toshiba TruBrite WXGA + TFT of own name I tried looking for drivers for the monitor but without success, someone can help me pretty please, I get headaches for the low screen refresh rate.

    Hello

Have you installed the right graphics card driver?
Immediately after installation of Vista, the operating system uses Microsoft's own common graphics driver.
If you want to use additional graphics options, you need to install the compatible graphics card driver.

But I want to clarify something. The LCD or TFT screens give excellent quality and resolution at 60 Hz.
the Refresh on TFT rate simply won't say the same thing about monitors CRT.
Response time, brightness of the Image and the contrast of the Image are more important for a TFT or LCD monitor like the refresh rate.

Performance display and the quality isn't worst if it run on 60 Hz
Therefore, I see no reason to change the refresh rate of 100 Hz

  • Table programming don't hear is committed

I have a table control that I created by NewCtrl program.  I put its control mode to VAL_HOT so that it will listen to validate events when I edit the cells.  And yet, the EVENT_COMMIT never happens.

A test, I created a table in my UIR, put in hot mode and put a DebugPrintf in the EVENT_COMMIT case.  Triggers as expected when I change a cell.

Now to my programmatic table, all my other events trigger as expected:

    • EVENT_RIGHT_CLICK

    • EVENT_LEFT_CLICK

    • EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK

    • EVENT_GOT_FOCUS

    • EVENT_LOST_FOCUS

    • EVENT_TABLE_ROW_COL_LABEL_CLICK

OK, I have this resolved now.  It was a mix of issues.  This project is part of my another series of questions here, where the first thing that happens in my essay is that I spend monitors (with the help of a DiscardPanel and DuplicateCtrl).

For some reason, the DuplicateCtrl does not seem redundant with the status of control mode.  So after I have move monitors and call the DuplicateCtrl, I need to reissue a call to change its attribute to control mode.  Turns, just this one:

    SetCtrlAttribute (main, tableControl, ATTR_CTRL_MODE, VAL_HOT);

  • Incredible problems to get the new workgroup C8180 All-in-one

I bought a C8180 All-in-one printer to the end of September. When I plugged in and installed the software, everything seemed to function OK (I didn't test printing from the computer at the time), but after a short period of time to print Microsoft Word and Wordpad failed, started working and then failing again every time I reinstalled the software to try to solve the problem. Then began a long series of emails with HP technical support. In the next two weeks I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software 6 or 7 times in several different ways, under the instruction of HP. But he never could get Word and Wordpad works correctly. Finally, once again, under order of HP, he worked with a fake installation of HP Deskjet 990c printer. Then I noticed that it was more possible to digitize documents and slides to the computer, except by using a chip memory such as an intermediate storage. Then I went on vacation after spending about 30-40 hours two weeks previous emailing and calling the HP technical support.

Back from vacation in the third week of October, I took the issue once again with HP support. Yet once, I spent hours and hours writing emails and reinstalling the software but to no avail. HP finally proclaimed this a problem difficult and said that it would increase the level of support. A gentleman named Sylvester who sent someone would phone a day pre-arranged to see more advanced techniques could be applied to the problem. Needless to say that the phone call came not despite my cancelling several meetings to wait in it (I should have better that they had promised to phone back me several times before and has never done).

Finally, I called customer service to the local office of HP. (At least you can get to them without having to listen to the music for half an hour for the price of 5 p / minute.) They said that they would ensure someone would contact me and would monitor the call to ensure that happened. A week later I ' d has received no call, and I went to the local customer service. Has been raised to the top level of management, and finally, after a few reminders more than me, they managed to get a senior technician, called Natheem, in their technical service Cap to call me.

He has been very helpful (and actually phoned me several times), and finally he forced me to go through the complicated process of getting Microsoft in India (via a conference telephone with Cape Town and myself - apparently it would have cost me a lot in telephone charges, but I have not had the Bill) to give advice on how to spend my Windows XP with service pack 2 and my internet explore to IE6. I reinstalled the C8180 software once again. No difference, still the same problems, except that now, Microsoft Word would work with the HP C8180 printer driver.

At this point, Natheem said that it must be a hardware fault and arranged for the device must be replaced.

The new unit arrived last Thursday. I again carefully uninstalled and reinstalled the software, connected to the machine and got the same problems, but once again with Microsoft Word cannot print with the C8180 printer drivers.

I tried to contact Natheem again once in Cape Town this afternoon. After half an hour of expensive music additional I have with a person named Waleed who said that Natheem is on a call but he would get to call. No call came.

So on the forum, I would like advice on what to do with a new HP C8180 All-in-One printer which:

    1. not print Word documents (except by using a printer deskjet 990c driver)
    2. used to scanning documents or transparent to the computer
    3. will not print photos from the computer using HP photosmart essential, or other photo editing software

I'm also rather fed up of the assistance provided by HP. When you get through them they always try to help, but pass through, especially for someone who knows your case is more frustrating (and costs). In an attempt to get the thing, I also had to downgrade my computer Windows XP service pack 2 OS and my internet explore to IE6. I spent probably 50-60 + hours of the last two months, trying to get the thing work.

Any advice on what to do next would be welcome.

    Hi David,

Well, my story has a happy ending. I stopped trying to untangle the printer after a whole month of working hours, including a lot of phone calls to the SA and responidng to dozens of emails. But then I bought my wife a laptop Toshiba for Christmas - and it worked perfectly first time. In any case, my computer was in a bit of a mess especially when the messing around I had done on this to HP support, so I decided to reload my operating system (after reformatting hard disk), I just finished. And guess what the C8180 works perfectly (at least until now anyway)! I just updated my OS to SP2 (according to HP support the C8180 has problems with SP3), and I kept my Internet Explorer version 6 (higher versions - 7 I think - again can cause problems according to HP support). I somehow use Firefox. But now its work, its quite an impressive machine.

I want to say individual personnel in support of HP thin is always very friendly and helpful. It's just a phone, it costs and often listen to music for a long time, its very difficult to get hold of the same person again, if you spend hours to repeat the details of your problem, and despite vehement promises they call you rarely back - probably because they are too busy. His support system which is very poor, not the support staff.

In any case you have a different problem. If your printer does not work on computers with different operating systems. I would say that you have good arguments to either get a new printer or your money under the guarantee.

    Good luck

  • Headless app - Release version

    Hi guys

It's time I was here there is .

I have a little problem. With app without a head. I create myself a project of default app model headless in Momentics IDE.

But... If I create a BAR as a "Release Build" file and install it on the phone DON'T WORK.

Process without head told me, which is started. If I also check the monitor process and device then there is, but nothing WORKS.

You guys have some ideas where could be the problem why the app stop working in the Release version?

  • How can I start Win7 at 640 x 480?

I set up a new PC running Windows 7 Ultimate with an ATI ArcadeVGA 3000 video card to drive a MakVision M3129DF-TS 29 "CRT monitor arcade with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480."

My "main view" is the MakVision to 640 x 480 pixels through the CGA (15-pin) port with a secondary LCD monitor 1680 x 1050 through DVI port, and things seem good (photo: http://i.imgur.com/bSI5Qn6.jpg).
But when I unplug the DVI cable, the MakVision monitor refresh in trouble (photo: http://i.imgur.com/kpknYlg.jpg). I think Windows is trying to push a higher resolution that the monitor cannot handle. When I plug the rear DVI, display corrects itself.
I started with only the MakVision plugged into the same problem. Start low resolution display very well, but to start Windows I get the same disorder.
Is there a requirement that Windows 7 displays a resolution higher than 640 x 480? Is there a way I can force Windows 7 to boot directly into 640 x 480? Why Windows changes the video to the monitor signal when I take the other view? Help!

    Change your screen resolution

    Applies to Windows 7

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images displayed on your screen. At higher resolutions, such as 1600 x 1200 pixels, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller so more items can fit on the screen. At lower resolutions, such as 800 x 600 pixels, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they appear larger.

The resolution, you can use is based on the resolution that your monitor supports. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768 pixels and can work well with different resolutions. LCD monitors, also called flat screens and screens of portable computers often support higher resolutions and better suited to a specific resolution.

More monitor, usually the higher the resolution, it supports. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.

Text and images are more sharp, but less at higher screen resolutions.
Text and images are larger but often less strong at low screen resolutions.
Watch this video to learn how to change your screen resolution (01:10)
    To change your screen resolution

    1. Open the screen resolution by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel configuration, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

    2. Click on the drop-down list next to the resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then click on apply.

    3. Click on store to use the new resolution, or click back to return to the previous resolution.

Resolution of the screen in the control panel shows the recommended for your monitor resolution.
    Native resolution

LCD screens, including the screens of laptops, work usually best at their native resolution. You don't have to set your screen to run at this resolution, but it is generally recommended to that see you the text and the strongest possible images. LCD monitors are usually of two types: a standard part of width to height of 4:3 or a wide screen of 16:9 or 16:10 ratio. A wide screen has a wider shape and resolution than a standard report monitor.

If you are unsure of the native resolution of your screen, check the product manual or go to the manufacturer's Web site. Here are typical resolutions for some popular screen sizes:

    • screen 19 inch (standard report): 1280 x 1024 pixels

    • 20-inch screen (standard): 1600 x 1200 pixels

    • 22 - inch screen (widescreen): 1680 x 1050 pixels

    • 24 - inch screen (widescreen): 1900 x 1200 pixels

For more information, see getting the best display on your monitor.

    Notes

    • When you change the screen resolution, it affects all users who log on the computer.

    • When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it will not support, the screen will turn black for a few seconds while the monitor returns to the original resolution.

  • Agent will record is no longer

I am having a strange problem os 7 UCCX (7.01 - SR05) for registration and wanted to see if anyone else have experienced this. We have an agent who was recording properly during the last 6 months since we moved. All of a sudden a week ago recording do not work. Supervisors cannot listen live and the file created record will be the length in good time but there is no volume. I never once had where an agent would be unhearable or have the blank record. I have records that the barge on the other, but they are just or volumeless.

I took the phone and waited for the user to erase jtapi hoping that you re-create the user would work. That did not help. It's almost like his CAD stops everything happens (which would be possible as far as I know).

Has anyone already seen this? Any ideas that I could possibly do to solve this problem? As typed above, I'm on UCCX 7 Premium (7.01 - SR05) but he is currently running as a stand-alone. CUCM version is 7.1.3.32900.4.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Dave

    Hello Dave,

The idea behind the Office of surveillance & recording-based is the CAD PC receives a copy of the telephone traffic, including voice chat in the form of RTP packets. The CAD software then takes these RTP packets and pass them on to the CSD so that the supervisor can monitor the call. CAD can also transfer the RTP packets directly on the CRS Server for recording of calls.

If RTP packets are removed from the NETWORK card or a reason, surveillance & recording will stop working.

I think in your case, the problem is maybe a few new AntiVirus or security software installed on the PC agent.

You can run WireShark on the CAD PC while having a conversation on the phone of the agent and you should see a lot of RTP packets here. If you don't see all the packages, please try uninstalling any AV and see if this fits the Bill.

All this is based on the assumption that you are using based on the Office of surveillance & recording and not on the SCALE.

    Hope that helps!

    Pablo
