More High Performance interface for Fieldpoint
Hello
I have inherted a c# application MeasurementStudio.NET which reads and stores the data for the Fieldpoint modules. It has about 100 channels distributed on several modules (for most PSC-HAVE-118 s) which he questions to about 20 Hz. I asked me to increase the sampling rate of some of the chains of at least 1 kHz and 10 kHz (the max spec for the module) preference.
Currently, the code interfaces modules fieldpoint using a DataSocket mutual FUND for each channel. Preliminary tests indicate that I won't be able to acquire data at kHz speeds using this approach. Is this true? If Yes, what is the best API/interface to get data off these high frequencies of sampling modules?
While I did a little test and measurement work in the past, I have no experience with fieldpoint and I'm on a timetable, in order to have your advice to direct me in the right direction and avoid the false starts is very appreciated.
Hi Jackson,
Unfortunately, since the cFP-1808 sends each sample using OPC as it receives, is not capable of chunk data together to transfer more effective. This means that the maximum rate on the network connected via ethernet module is around 100 Hz. see here for a point of reference of the device.
Hope this helps,

Enterprise Edition High Performance - cost for PDB?
The data Cloud price page shows that the High Performance of Enterprise Edition includes the shared Option.
Simple question - there seems to be a cost flat no matter how much DPS, I create - is that correct?
This sounds different if you use several tenant on prem - where there is a marginal cost by APB.
I have searched but can't find any (final) clarification on the question of if the EE HP option allows you to create additional free of charge PDB.
Thank you
John
You can create all the PDBs your little heart desires...

Need for higher performance PSU for my s3500f
Recently, I perched a graphics card of low profile for my slimline s3500f desktop computer, now I need to improve my 300w power, because it now has only 160w. Recently I discovered the PSU is a type of flex atx (what it means)
Help
Type flex is the right size and it should work.
I'm just worried that you might need more than 300W, but I think that should help.

Desktop Pavilion Elite 137c: SATA Interface for adding an SSD
How will I know what SATA (1, 2 or 3) that supports my Pavilion Elite 137c. I want to add an SSD that says he uses a SATA-3 interface.
You are the very welcome.
I think it'll do the trick.
I added a 330 Intel SSD SATA III in my HP Elitebook 6930p business book, which has the Mobile Intel 4 series chipset, also SATA II controllers, and subjectively, it makes a very nice improvement upon startup and access time.
I subjectively, because I have not run before and after calibration of performance tests.
The mechanical hard drive was a high-end drive for laptop Western Digital 7 200 rpm, not a reader laptop slow poke 5 400 rpm. I had no problem saying that the high-performance SSD.
If you put any credibility in the Windows experience index scores, the mechanical hard drive had the score 5.9 max, that you can get with a mechanical hard drive and SSD hostage up to 7.6.

Ask a thin high-performance notebook?
Now using Aspire 5745 G, i3-370cpu, 4GBram, 250GBhdd, Win7x64 home
I travel and I would less in bulk, but much, much more performance to manage the software photo and three large sets of data in Excel, but also the usual stuff from day to day. A 15.6 screen would be a minimum demand.
I'm getting tired of awaits with this current laptop, although Global Acer Aspire has done well through some updates model.
Request for performance of a super thin laptop computer the wrong question? What models?
Thank you.
Phil
You would think that more companies would build high performance, thin Ultrabook, laptops with a 15.6 screen "... but the choice is rather limited. Samsung generates a couple of high performance models that would probably suit your needs: the ATIV-NP940X5J-K02US (256 GB SSD) book and the NP940X5J-K01US (128 GB SSD) are two of the prettiest I've seen that are super thin and light but... both are in the price range of $2000 +. For about half that price ($1100-1200) you could get an Acer V7-582PG-7648 that offer superior performance and would be just as reliable, if not more - plus, it weighs less than 5 lbs. Eventually I plan to replace my aging with something office exactly as you describe.

HP Pavilion HPE h8qe for example. (Windows 7 (64 bit)), the specifications indicate the number of DIMM slots to be 6. The maximum amount of memory seems to be 16 GB. I bought HP 'High Performance' office computers in the past which had 6 DIMM slots and up to 24 GB of memory. Sales said 4 DIMM slots and 16 GB max memory (4 GB DIMMS). This seems absolutely backwards for me. Why desktop computers would take a step backward? I expect 4 or 6 DIMM slots each capable of treating the DIMMs from 8 GB to 32 GB or 48 GB memory MAX system. What is the truth... the support of offshore outsourcing seems to be reading the documentation which is conflict. I just want to buy another HP computer that moves me to the future rather than the past. Help me to know the correct specifications?
Thank you
Hi Bob,
The link you provided is dead.
You're right about the view picture and specifications are different. I'll let know HP. Good find!
You can watch HP workstations if you need more than 16 GB. The price jumps significantly with 8 GB DIMMs using. Some workstation models have 8 dimm slots, then you might be able to get up to 32 GB without using DIMM 8 GB which would take the low cost.

HP 61: Are always interchangeable cartridges of high performance and standard?
I intend to buy ink HP 61 B & W cartridges and color as a gift for someone who has a HP inkjet printer. I know the printer takes the HP 61 cartridge, but I don't know the model of the printer (it is a low-cost, current model).
High-performance cartridges are always compatible with the same printer than the equivalent low-yield cartridges models?
What are disadvantages to high yield cartridges outside cost (1) and (2) the possibility that the ink could dry before being used?
XL and standard cartridges are compatible. However, the new printers module may reject a cartridge that is older (use outdated date).
