• Firefox manages not to display images much (but not all) on the Web sites that I visit, certain images are displayed and some are not even if they are in the same format.

  I deleted all the logos on my toolbar of bookmarks (which is far too complicated to do btw) since installing the new Firefox, whenever I have save an image from a site (that's part of my job) all these pop stupid logos - up in my bookmarkbar.   Well, I have an older (21.5 "iMac late 2009) and increasing problems with Chrome and Firefox to complain that my system was outdated, I finally put to El Cap.

  By default, mail clients deletes the messages from the server once they are downloaded.  So if you check your email on a single computer, so when the other computer checks, they will be gone.  You don't say what email client you use, but if you use Windows Mail in Vista, then in WinMail go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and check the box to leave messages on the server.  Then do the same on the laptop.  This way both will get the messages.  But the Bureau to delete messages after a number of days, so your mailbox on the server only fill up.  If you do not use Windows Mail in Vista, the principle remains the same, but you will need to find these parameters ("leave a copy of the server after uploading") in your e-mail program.
