most have the product key, or the installation disc. Can anyone help?

I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and hope to do a clean install, but I had not given this option. On the Microsoft site, I've been advised to go back to my previous version of Windows, 7 and then repeat the upgrade. I did and when I tried to upgrade, he did a validation test to see if my copy of windows is genuine and she failed the test. He had the validation test before that I first have to upgrade to Windows 10, where it is spent. I have more the product key, or the installation disc. Can anyone help?

Kind regards

Kevin
