  In history, the biggest problem is that Toshiba doesn't support Linux OS and you are yourself, so try to pick up enough info about Linux on Toshiba laptops.

  Unfortunately I can't give you the answer, but you can check the Linux forum category and read what other people write about Linux on Toshiba laptops.

  Check also other Linux forums and I hope that you will find enough info and help concrete if you will be faced with hardware problems.

  I have a Linksys Switch (Gigabit) connected to various materials in my small business via CAT7.  Everything turns end network; wait in line ISDN BRI, which currently gives me only 12 Mbps download.  I also connect the router to a VOIP to ISDN gateway which i sconnected to my internal PBX which I assume provides a load on the router.

  Unfortunately my RVS4000 (firmware v1.3.2.0) simply keeps now hung and I spent a lot of time trying to understand why and I'm close to simply replace the router (as the loss of time is less than the cost of a new device).

  Please can someone advise a suitable router with a firewall, which is VERY stable (+ 99.9% time)?  I want to stay in the world of cisco/linksys here I first looks for a solution.

  BTW - I have no Wifi as the router is in a small data center with Wifi does simply not apart of as the walls are 60cm thick.  A wired router is sufficient.

  I guess it's crashing since iOS update, everyone is having the same problem. The work around is turn off the "Safari Suggestions." To do this, go to settings > Safari. I hope this helps!

  I am running LV 8.5 on a Dell under Windows XP SP3 machine. I have a peripheral 6252 LICOR of print data via a COM port to labview. Each bag contains 6 data items, all that I want to store and possibly save in a worksheet. The LICOR can send this packet of data every 1 second. However, when I put the high data rate, the data is saved only every 10-12 seconds. I guess that's due to failures in how I save everything in a table. Can you suggest anything I can do to make my program more efficient so that more data is backed up? Thank you.

  Your building of paintings will kill your speed and your memory.  What you should really do is to save your data in file after you buy it.  To do this use a configuration of producer/consumer .  The idea is to read the data, analyze and then use a queue to send the data to another loop that does the logging.  In this way, you won't have to keep accumulating your arrays and memory remains at least.

  And just to dig in the Instrument i/o Assistant.  You certainly don't want to use.  It provides a reading of your instrument for EACH parameter that you put in.  From what I can tell, you need to a single reading, and you can analyze all the settings from there.  What does that mean?  Your actions do not come from the same time of measurement.  This may cause some problems with the projects I've had.  So, Yes, you want to use the VISA gross.  You can do the installation before the loop and close the port after the loop.  The analysis of the data should be really simple as well.

• Animation - what Illustrator, I should use?

  I have Illustrator as part of master CS6, I bought for InDesign, Photoshop, and first. While using the first, I had to draw regularly on yet and Adobe After Effects, Audition, but I have yet to open Illustrator. I hope someone here can save me time advised me if Illustrator is suitable for my purposes. I'm not a professional, just a passionate amateur, but I don't want to use software quality and the equipment to do the best job that I can.

  Background

  I use first mainly to convert my audio-visual presentations to the HD format. In the 1980s, I was just in slideshows of three screens. It will be a challenge to transform a 4.5:1 16:9 format, but as my partner says it will keep me out of mischief. As part of the transformation, I will be the introduction of a small number of video clips (where my need of creation) and also short animation sequences, probably 10 seconds maximum. I have little idea of what software to use for the animation, but all the software in my collection of what Adobe illustrator seems at least to have the right name, so here I am.

  A few thoughts

  I have a friend, Steve, a watercolor and sketch artist, and he's very anxious to get into the animation. Showed me a few short films he did on his iPad with his finger. I told him: 'we can do better than that. " My idea is:

  1. Buy a Wacom Cintiq 22HD with all the fancy pens, plug it into an iMac and open the appropriate software.
  2. Sit Steve in front of the Cintiq and let it go.
  3. Steve wields the pen to generate the outline of the first image. No coloring in, not background at this point, just a "test in pencil" kind of thing. Something like the sketches of Chuck Jones for a Road Runner cartoon, except best (I can dream, I can't?)
  4. Steve could generate 24 fps for smooth movement, but we could decide to take only 12 (or 8) per second and software have interpolated for missing executives - if possible.
  5. When we are satisfied by the "pencil test", the background and coloring are made.
  6. When finished, the project is imported to the Prime Minister to be part of the audiovisual sector.

  Illustrator or something else?

  Illustrator is suitable for what we want to do? If this is not the case, what would be the most suitable software? We won't make things complicated as the 3D animations, simple - a character in motion in a context that may also be moving.

  Illustrator is not suitable for it.

  According to the style of the last animation, you can use illustrator to build assets to animate in another program like flash. but of the adobe family, flash is what you are looking for.

  I haven't used in a while so I don't know how the sketch is good about it. will touch you with vectors so there not all the charm of a pencil test. but there skins chronologies and onion and twin animated for animations of transformation as something that cross the screen, rotation, morphing, etc. scaling.

  Flash animations tend to look very steep in my opinion. the best example I can think of a flash animation, which is not without a soul would be 2d sequences in kung fu panda.

  There are programs that are better suited for traditional animation (at least in sensation). Totally forgot that I used at school. I mean flipbook. anyway. for pencil tests in my opinion really improtant is the drawing of the sensation. There are a lot of animation 2d there software but they are for the most part any vector and offer not bitmap of good drawing tools.

  at school, we used to draw on paper and photography. Some people spent about things like toon boom, which I do not remember if it is the only vector drawing.

  I chose to photoshop which is very heavy for animation because of the configuration, but fantastic for natural drawing. everyone in class thought I hosted with pencils and markers of China.

  I say that the configuration is painful because your executives are about layers. If you find yourself with hundreds of layers. I then changed the opacity of my layers of onion.  the timeline was also a pain because you really do a bit of math to get the right images per second. I ended up losing a few images in the final product. as you build your layers, the preview of the animation slows down.

  anyway. My 2 cents. FlipBook has bitmap drawing tools such as photoshop, but as I remember, they were not that great. It also allows access to photoshop to draw you into photoshop and updates of fram inside flipbook. It would have been ideal, but at the time, it kept crashing on me when I tried it. I don't know if they fixed.

  I'll have to download drivers and software from HP and there is such an astonishing array of software available for this model I don't know really what to download and what I can let it slide.

  This is designed to be a professional computer maintained by computing professionals, but I just want what he as a general-purpose computer "ordinary".

  Now I tell myself that I should get certainly all drivers because they are strictly based on the material and will also apply to my needs to those of the original unit office drone was designed for. I just discovered, in cases where there is more than one choice of material, what advice or feature of this particular machine has to obtain the correct driver.

Ridiculous, but it prevents me from wasting time on the cat and pornography videos.
