Mouse ARC broke.

Original title: ARC Mouse

I bought a mouse Arc Ms.  Big mouse.  Within 6 weeks, the little clip on frog plastic, ultimately contributing to the mouse to drag on surfaces, broke.  It was very fragile.  Now, the rubber hits the office and is sticky.  The mouse is now much less usable.  This is not a cheap item, and having it break so quickly is disappointing.  Where can I source a replacement clip?

As far as I know, you can do that.  If you want the keyboard and mouse on a transceiver, you buy a keyboard/mouse kit, commonly known as a desktop computer.

  • Mouse arc Microsoft cancels regularly for 3 seconds

I have a brand new computer, new installation of Windows 7, any new Microsoft arc mouse. Once an hour, the mouse will stop working no reason that I can determine. The blue light is on but the slider locks into place. No matter what I try, about three seconds later it starts working again.

I tried everything from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838398 and then some. Different batteries, different usb port, another wireless mouse. I said Windows leave economy only when USB hubs and reinstalled the drivers. There is nothing in the event logs.
The funny thing is, I came across this particular problem with a logitech mouse on my old computer Win 7, and I don't remember how I solved it. Is this a symptom of the interference caused by something else in the room? A kind of device driver conflict internal? Any ideas?

-Have you tried using the mouse on another computer?

Not always easy, but I managed that today, and Yes, it does get on the other computer (also under Win 7). I guess that means there's a defective mouse and I should get a replacement. Thank you!

  • The ARC mouse left button does not properly

The other day, I bought a mouse Arc.  My right button works fine, but my left button does not respond unless I have push down hard and hold the button for one second.   Simple click, it translates the button press then to click but nothing happens.  I guess it's just a bad mouse and not a systematic design problem?

    Hello

    · Do you remember the latest changes on the computer before the show?

    · What is the service pack installed?

Try the steps listed in the link below: troubleshooting failures in the response to the mouse or wireless keyboard: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838398

  • ARC mouse doesn't respond better after battery change

I used my Arc mouse for about 3-4 months.  I replaced the batteries a couple of times during that period and had to be replaced again this morning.  The LED on the device still lights up green to indicate that it has a complete autonomy, and windows (7 RC, build 7100 64-bit) emits a sound, grateful that she recognizes the USB receiver and mouse arc also appears correctly in the window "devices and printers".  However, the cursor does not respond to the screen.
I have tried all the USB ports on my computer, reinstalled the windows 64-bit version of intellipoint 7 and tried different batteries, but I still can't get the cursor to respond.
The documentation on the site Web of Microsoft support said that the problem can be solved by re-synchronization of the device to my computer, but I am unable to find any kind of reset button on/inside the unit or on the USB receiver.  What is the best approach to adopt from here to make my mouse working again?

Hi - I actually found the problem and the solution.

The problem is related to the Microsoft Bluetooth power management feature. You must turn off the power for the bluetooth mouse management.

Unfortunately, I discovered the issue after I returned the device to Microsoft. Given that Microsoft was aware of this feature, that I'm really surprised to see that:

    1. It is not mentioned in the manuals for the Arc Mouse
    2. He is not mentioned anywhere on the help of the advice provided by Microsoft
    3. He made public not much at all

I bought a Logitech mouse - which had exactly the same problem, and that's when I realized it was a systematic problem. I kept digging and came across the answer that worked - disable power management.

I'm surprised that it is not made more transparent - I see forums and others that it is a very big problem. Epic fail for Microsoft on this one.

In any case, I hope this helps others!
