Mouse Bluetooth Wedge stops working after restart

Corner of the pairs of mice and the work of the session, but after each reboot, Hibernate, or sleep I have to remove and rediscover the device even if the control panel says it works fine.

Hello

1. you receive messages or error codes?

2. other Bluetooth devices work well?

This can occur if the Bluetooth drivers are not installed properly.

Method 1:

You can visit the computer manufacturer and try to install the latest version of the Bluetooth drivers.

Update drivers: recommended links

We can also refer to article and check if it helps.

A Bluetooth device no longer works, and you receive the error code 43 with the event 17 after you resume a computer that is running Windows 7 to sleep

Hope the helps of information.

  • USB mouse and keyboard stop working after I have install Windows Update KB2913431

After installation automatic Windows Update KB2913431 (Win 7 Enterprise), the computer seems to work very well, but my mouse and keyboard stop working.  The option of automatic repair after that start with F8 does not work.  He said that the error is "unspecified".

The fool is that it has created a constellation of intermittent problems when I try other options to get these devices to function after the update.  The questions I will of unpowered USB ports, grateful Windows and install the drivers for USB devices, but then do not recognize their (and are not), random BSOD, restore points invalid system, random boot failure, which causes discs to randomly stop working properly, closed randomly , à... I think you get the idea.

I think it must be a driver problem.  I passed through the Device Manager and uninstall all hidden devices.  I have updated the drivers for everything that has an update available.  I tried to disable all, but Microsoft services at startup and in the list of "services".  I've always been unsuccessful; However, when I can get it to successfully restore to a point before the update (none of the automatic restore points work correctly) it seems ok.  It will sometimes seem to work after I applied the update, but then go haywire shortly after.  I am convinced that it is not a hardware problem, given that the prior update restores (when they actually cross without failure) work very well.

I went through countless articles in the knowledge base and tried all the suggestions I've seen, other than registry cleaners because I had a bad experience with this earlier.  I tried so many things that I lost count and the memory of some of them.

I reached point is never install the update (an option that I prefer not to use) or creating a clean Windows install on another drive (an option that I prefer not to use, but I'm a little more friendly to).  I already started to back up files to prepare a clean install, but I reach out one last time before I pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions you have!

I have 2 PCs both running windows Vista. A PC is a desktop computer ACER with a printer connected to a USB Port (HP Photosmart C4480). The 2nd PC is an ACER laptop also on windows Vista. I have a network home and print away from the laptop. Problem is when I restart the laptop I can't print remotely and do are Add' the printer again. Print spooling is nec automatic and active. I have downloaded the latest drivers HP for the printer. Just a note to say that ACER laptop my son who works in XP does not have this problem and can print after a reboot.

Hi GaryPolaris and thanks for the answer.

What is the brand and model of your printer? Have you checked to see if the printer is compatible with Vista? You can check this in the Vista Compatibility Center located at this URL http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/ . Also, you can try installing the Vista drivers on the XP machine. If the manufacturer has released Vista drivers simply download and install the drivers on your XP machine.

I hope this helps. Please post back and let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.

  • The mouse scroll wheel stopped working after windows updates

I have a Targus optical mouse with a scroll wheel; and he recently worked like this: when you use the scroll wheel in multiple windows, it would scroll the window (to move the vertical scroll bar) goes up and down.  It was a huge time saver, and I was used to it.

I installed recently a whole bunch of patches from microsoft, including Windows 7 SP1 and Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center.  The device is not listed in the center of the keyboard and mouse MS, but there is always a control-> mouse Panel.

In Control Panel-> mouse, it has still the tab saying "wheel" roll the mouse to a notch wheel to scroll the rows x number of rows (it is selectable, I had 3, but tried to change as well); but it no longer works.  Now, it seems, I have to press the wheel to click, which then shows a circular scroll up/down, icon, and then I physically move the mouse up and down, and if I push down to click again on the wheel, I'm back to a regular movement of the mouse pointer.  It's MUCH more inefficient than the use of the wheel, so I'll try to figure out how I can get the drive working again.

Should I uninstall MS Mouse and keyboard Center?  I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling the driver; but there is no mouse listed in the Device Manager (only has my touchpad there...)  It's a Targus optical mouse amu10usz; and even once, it was working fine before the installation of upgrades...

    Thanks for any help,
    A.J.

  • USB mouse & keyboard stop working after the upgrade of Intel generic drivers drivers!

Original Post: USB mouse & keyboard stop working after upgrade to generic drivers

After you install Windows, the Generic USB controller drivers are installed. My mouse & keyboard as planned work & that are each recognized as "compatible mouse/keyboard HID."

After I installed the Intel drivers for root USB controller, the mouse & keyboard stop working and are classified as unknown. Shortly after, they are considered HP USB Optical Mouse & HP USB Standard keyboard, however the drivers never properly install and they remain under unknown devices with a yellow exclamation point.

I have searched high & low for these device drivers, they do not exist. I installed the drivers for all of the materials appearing on the site of the seller. This has happened on several computers, laptops and desktop computers.

I've done all the troubleshooting I can think. Uninstalled all the controllers/USB hubs & restarted. Switched USB ports, I tried new mouse & keyboard, wanted Windows updates.

The only way I can make it work is if I use the generic Windows drivers, who then recognized the mouse & KB "HID compliant". It seems that if I install Intel drivers, it recognizes the mouse & keyboard more in detail and he wants specific drivers to continue.

Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
