Mouse touch arc randomly turns off while remaining "arc 'd" even when I'm in the middle of something

I had this Arc Touch mouse, because first, they came out, and blue laser under him also shut down, in the middle of me using it every day since then my mouse will turn off without warning or error. Sometimes it happens every 30 minutes, other times it will last hours before doing so. And I know for a fact that it is not the batteries this. It of a feature I don't know or is this defective mouse. In addition, can solve this problem - I don't want just go buy a new mouse.

I have a problem with Windows 7 and Windows 8 previews, and I tried different computers, different usb ports, etc..

I have not tried on XP or Vista, but I doubt it would all of a sudden work on these operating systems

If this scenario resembles the mouse is defective, can be directed to the where can I send it in a replacement?

Thanks for any help

Hello

Step 1:

You can try to download the latest version of the driver from the website of the manufacturer for the mouse and install the same thing to check if it works:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

Step 2:

If the above fails, try the following.

It seems to be a hardware problem. You can contact Microsoft support hardware support.

If I move the mouse that nothing happens, or if I click on the keyboard, even when I click on the button at the back of the mac market. To remedy this, I have to cut the plug from the socket and wait a few minutes, then switch it on again, then without me touching the power button on the back of the Mac turns. I have a usb hub that has a constantly on the Mac is on the head, and when the problem arises that the led is not on so I'm sure that the Mac is turned off completely without power. The power offs get more frequent, and at first I thought it was because it was when I was using Windows in virtual box, but I deleted the virtual machine and the problem still happens.

  • Portege M400 randomly turn off and restart

    Hello
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what's wrong with my laptop? Two days ago began to randomly turn off and restart. I checked the following:
-Execution control online Panda Security virus etc - all ok.
-Check the system of newspapers but all it records is an error "windows has stopped unexpectedly".
-Suspect an overheating problem I took it to pieces, clean all the dust from the fan and the heat exchanger. Also cleaned up all the old thermal paste off the CPU and replaced with new ones. It works now much cooler but always stops at random.
-Run a Suse Linux Live DVD to check, it certainly isn't a problem with the OS and it stops again.

I'm guessing that something is short circuit on the motherboard because it will run ok if it is on a flat surface and not moved and I do not press too hard while typing etc. However, it is a bit hit and Miss. If someone has had this problem before and there at - it something else I could try? Also any ideas on is how a new motherboard? I expect probably expensive :( If there is any kind of fix I can do myself? I'm pretty technically minded and do not have a problem with taking it bit do not know much about electronics, engines are more my thing :D

    TIA, Firedrake

PS The laptop model number is PPM40E running Vista Business.

    Hello!

I m not an expert in laptop but in my opinion, it sounds like a hardware malfunction. The reason could be a faulty motherboard or something else.
I mean you already tried Linux bootable disk, so I think that the problem is not bound by the OS.

I put t know how much a new card mother cost and if it s difficult to Exchange or not, but you should contact the nearest ASP that you can find on the Toshiba site. The laptop technicians can check your laptop and order a new card of mother.

  • Satellite A200-1FL randomly turns off

    Hello

I have the problem that after I moved from the Spain to the Thailand now my Toshiba Satellite A200-1FL randomly turns off.
This only seems to happen when it is connected with AC - with battery I have it is not happened again although I can't rule out it.

After some time of work (sometimes only 10 minutes, sometimes up to 2 hours) the laptop just shuts off-as if I would unplug the unit without the battery inserted. It is certainly not an overheating problem because the CPU is at 55º c most of the time (a year before the cpu fan was dirty and he has sometimes increased to 90º - but which caused no stops).

I don't know about electricity here in Thailand - but it seems 220V and they do not use the Earth (at least at the point where I am).
I use the original Toshiba AC adapter.

What could be the problem here - is there any solution or the solution to this problem?

    Thanks for any help,
    vitaminx

    Hey,.

As stone I n not know electricity of the Spain and Thailand, but if you have only this problem with the AC adapter / CC, there are a few differences between the Spain and the Thailand.

In your case, I will ask the local authorized maintainer in Thailand. For example just give them a call and ask a technician for help. I'm pretty sure, they can give you an answer if you need a new power supply or another outlet.

    Good luck! :)

    Hello JDG_SF, welcome.

These options are very likely controlled by your GP (Group Policy) settings on your domain. Due to the nature of the work of rights how administrative, there is no way to work around this problem, unless you have access to change group policy settings that affect all the machines on your network.

You would need to access or to change the settings of GP or find someone who already has access.

    Hi fernan215,

Yes, turn off your printer when not in use. A fluctuation of current or failure can cause more damage to your printer when it is still on. You are also right that the printer is cleaning the heads and align the cartridges every time it is turned on. This is to ensure stability, good maintenance and calibration of your inks for the best output every time.

  • Touch pad to turn off Windows 7 when the mouse remotely installed as I could in Windows XP

In Windows XP, I could go to control pannel, mouse and click to Disable Touchpad when another mouse was attached.  It would be automatically on the touch pad if no mouse was attached USB.  I couldn't locate any method or the answer that allowed a change of software touchpad in Windows 7.

I had an old Dell D820, installed Win7 and couldn't find a way to disable the touchpad and keys/stick.  Based on other suggestions, I went to the Dell website and downloaded the drivers Vista (Win7 drivers not available).  As soon as he installed and rebooted, I had an icon in the Sys Tray (by the clock) that I could then select a setting to turn off when the external mouse connected.  So for those who said it is a pilot thing, I agree with them.

  • help my macbook pro retina 13inch started itself and turned off while in the case

as the title, my Macbook pro retina (bought in 2014) is transformed and then turn off 5 minutes later while in his case today, I only noticed after reviewing the event log and seeing a start and stop.  How can this happen? the Mac was definitely off not asleep and I did not put a timer.

It is unusual for a Mac to act this way, but this is not the first time that I heard about what's going on.

It looks like a problem SMC and is easily fixed by a reset see here reset management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support this will most likely solve the problem.

If this isn't the case, then it could be a simple sticky switch?

A visit to a Genius Bar is perhaps a good idea if the SMC reset does not work for you, and a new OSX installation did not help.

  • Satellite P10 randomly turns off

    Hello

I had my laptop since new for about 1 and a half years now, and only about 2 months, my laptop keeps turning off itself without warning or anything? I really doubt that it's a virus I have norton and also have ad-aware program running all the time.
I think it may be the laptop overheating? or the material is damaged?

Can someone tell me what I must do to overcome the problem please?

    Thanks Dan

    Hi Daniel,.

Random power thresholds are always a sign of overheating. All other problems occur a controlled stop or restart.

It is likely that your laptop is an accumulation of dust and fluff partially block the heatsink from the CPU. You can try to remove it with an inner pipe of the vacumm cleaner pointed at the gates of suction air under your laptop. Do not try to remove it through the rear exit gates because that will make the problem worse.

If this does not work, then you will need to remove the radiator to clean, but I hope this won't be necessary.

    Kind regards
